“Thank you Brianne for your loving care and compassion for Goldie in his new home while we were away for the weekend. We have come home to a happy cat who has been well cared for and is more settled in his new space! Lil Kilgallen”

“Mary is awesome! First of all, for navigating the Rover app and making appointments, as a first-time Rover user, I was completely lost and Mary has been with me every step of the way. And comes to the most important part — taking care of my very anxious and grumpy cat Pumpkin, Mary completely won him over! Mary is very detail-oriented and focuses on how best to take care of Pumpkin, which includes not only the daily chores of feeding and cleaning, but also what to do to make Pumpkin less anxious during our time away. Mary’s detailed reports were a joy to read and put me at ease when I was traveling. As luck would have it, our flight coming back got delayed, and Mary graciously picked up another day to take care of Pumpkin! Safe to say, we found the one!”

“Dee Dee was amazing! My cats were total jerks and she went above and beyond to deal with them and their mess. She took excellent care of my kitties even when they objected. I will use her again….if she’ll have us.”

“Rebecca was fantastic from the first meet and greet all the way through caring for our cats. She has a great vibe that gives you a ton of confidence that your animals are in great hands. I would happily recommend her to anyone that needs a top notch sitter.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets, including feeding, walks, playtime. I treat every pet like family and always keep owners updated with photos and messages. I can do pet sitting in the mornings, lunch time, evenings and weekends to fit your busy schedule and provide loving care to cats, dogs and reptiles I am working from home, have fenced yard, small friendly dog and kids that love animals, if you prefer me to host your pet. I can also visit your pets at your house if it works better for you.

About: I’ve had cats, dogs, turtles, frogs and fish throughout my life. Pets make the world a better place and as a retired teacher, I would like to care for pets. They are so important to us. I love to interact with animals, be outside in nature with them and would love to make some new furry friends. I am a retired teacher so I am very flexible to work as needed part time. I am available during the week and weekends, mornings, afternoons and early evening. I would quietly and calmly approach a new furry friend so they can smell me before trying to pet them. I would want to build trust and then engage in play activities, daily care and exercise.

About: I grew up with big dogs in the house, and had my own 120lb pup until recently. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Since I work at home, I can cater to your dogs specific needs, such as more frequent potty breaks or walks, playtimes, etc. I do have 2 kids in the house, 10 and 12, who love dogs and are eager to help out with feedings and playtime! They will never be left unsupervised with your dog. I live in an area with great walking trails, creeks and ponds, so your dogs will have plenty of opportunities for walks and outside time. ** Please note that my schedule books up quickly because I only board one dog at a time. Dates cannot be held without payment and must be reserved through the Rover platform to confirm your stay. ** My work at home flexibility allows me to be more attentive and available to your dogs specific needs. Need more walks? No problem! Special feeding times? I’m home and ready to accommodate. I do not have a fenced yard but we do have a great closed off deck where your dog can spend afternoons in the fresh air. I don’t have any other pets in the home so your dog is my only pet priority. I love walking the trails with dogs, and bringing them to the creek, or parks to play. If your dog is sensitive to other dogs or cats, that’s good to know as well. However, I cannot care for aggressive dogs. If your dog is aggressive towards cats, other dogs, or children, PLEASE be honest. I do not have the expertise to de-escalate aggressive behaviors, and honesty is really the only way to ensure both myself and your dog have a safe walk/board. I’m also happy to come to you for dog walks and/or playtime. Please note: due to my and my family’s safety, I do not invite (human) guests into my home. Meet and greets will be conducted at a local neutral location and drop offs will be done outside. Thank you for understanding!

About: I’ve had dogs since I could afford to care for them on my own. I enjoy spending down time playing, walking, and snuggling with my dog. I’ve raised two foster puppies and of course fell in love but had to part with them. I have a fenced in yard so animals can be outside when weather permits. I work from home all of the time so I am here for frequent potty breaks and working on manners and behaviors. I can feed and give medications, etc. I have a dog and friendly cats that hang out outside when possible. I have a fenced in yard so animals can run around as they wish. I have crates in case animals need to be separated or work on potty issues.

About: Hi! Our family loves dogs and we want to open our home to yours. Growing up, I had an Eskimopoo as a brother, and he was the most important being in my life. In 2009, after moving to Maryland from New Jersey, I adopted my current dog, Simi, from a shelter. She was abused, so it took some work and time to warm her up. Simi has gone from shy and timid to an important part of our family of 3 and the most loving and gentle dog you will ever meet. My 4 year old son was born into this world with Simi by his side and only knows a world with dogs in it. He loves dogs so much, that we adopted Ginger last year, a senior dog abandoned by her owner. Unfortunately, we lost Ginger to cancer a few months later Our loving family will make sure your beloved dog receives snuggles and belly rubs all day and night and be treated as part of the family. I know how hard is it to leave your dog to go on a business trip or vacation. So we will do everything we can to ensure your dog is safe and loved while you enjoy some time away. As a recently terminated federal employee, I am ready to spend the day with your loving pup on walks, playtime or just have a fun time in our fully fenced 1 acre yard! Your pet will make sure I get the excercise I need! I very much care for animals and their well-being, I will make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable knowing s/he will be sad missing mommy or daddy. Having a senior dog, Simi, my children are trained to be gentle and create a respectful environment for any pet guests we may have. If I am visiting your home, I will ensure to respect your pet's boundaries and ease my way into their safety zone. Eventually I hope to become a part of their routine.

About: With over 20 years of experience caring for different species and breeds, I provide loving and personalized, loving care for cats, dogs, horses, and other farm animals. Whether it's a playful pup or senior dog, a cat with a unique (or tempestuous!) personality, or horses in work, I'm comfortable with it all and can meet your pet's needs with the utmost care and attention. Having owned and cared for working dog breeds, provided palliative care for senior dogs, and tailored care for horses and farm animals, I understand the specialized attention these pets require. I’m well-versed in handling pets with varying temperaments and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you're away. As someone who’s familiar with the demands of a busy work schedule and the daily commute from DC to Northern Montgomery County, I offer flexible, reliable care for pets whose owners are on the go. Whether it's daily walks, feeding, or simply providing companionship, I’m here to make sure your pets get the care no matter how busy life gets. Let me be the helping hand to keep your pets happy and healthy! A former DC daily commuter, I now have a more flexible work schedule that allows me to care for animals during lunch break, peak commuting hours, and on weekends. Available on-call as well. Experience pet sitting for family, friends, neighbors and colleagues. After recently losing my German Shepherd of 15 years, I’ve become very attuned with the needs of older dogs as well and those requiring palliative care in an environment they know and understand best, which is home.

About: I work at a veterinary emergency room, had my own dog sitting business where word of mouth was my only marketing for over a decade. Since I was 7 years old I have been watching dogs and cats from tea cup chihuahuas to Saint Bernards, walking, feeding, playing, ensuring their safety, and sleeping with them. I love to build friendships with them, learn their personalities, and have the bond! I have the ability to work from home, so pet care fits seemlessly into my schedule/routine. I also stay up a little late so the puppies usually get one extra night time walk around 11:30 or 12, wake up around 6:30 or 7 am to do our morning walk and breakfast. I always ask questions to learn any routines that the family follows, I stick to those routines. At my home, we have two very friendly dogs that love to play. We go for walks in the woods and at the school, if allowed we go to dog parks, and we have snuggle time. At the families house, I always ask what the family does and try to see if there is a nice area to walk there or if they have a fenced in yard and want to play fetch, etc.

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my dedication to providing personalized care and creating an stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I have a deep understanding of canine behavior, strong attention to detail, and experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Whether it’s adhering to a specific routine, administering medications, or offering extra snuggles for anxious pups, I prioritize their comfort and happiness. I also maintain clear communication with owners, providing updates and peace of mind while they’re away. I’ve been taking care of my dog for almost 11 years now and he is now 15 years old. Senior care has become more prominent and a developed skill over the past couple of years. I’m currently working full time yet I am free on the weekends and have plenty of time to take care of and play with your pets I take my dog on lots of walks throughout the day and bring him outside as frequently as I can so he can get fresh air and see the other dogs. He is very well trained inside and outside the house so he isn’t put in a crate and has free roam of the house. He is spoiled and given lots of attention. At a clients home I do my best to respect their wishes and take care of their dog just like I would my own
