“Sharon was amazing at communicating with us about our pet, Sienna. She communicated constantly with us, sent regular photos, and kept us informed of how Sienna was doing in her care. Sienna became part of her family during the days that she was there with her. We will be using Sharon again in the future and we highly recommend her as someone who will love your pet, take good care of your pet, and keep you well informed with daily activities.”

About: Hi there! 👋🏼 My name is Elizabeth, but everyone calls me Ellie. I grew up in a farm town surrounded by animals, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve owned and cared for many dogs over the years, including my Boxer, Evie, who had two litters of healthy puppies. I currently have a dog named Jasper and am comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, energy levels, and personalities. I’m knowledgeable in basic training, routines, and positive reinforcement, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m home full-time and currently available for boarding in my home, dog walks, and drop-in visits. I’m not available for overnight stays in a client’s home. I live in a townhome with a fully gated yard that provides a safe, secure space for dogs to play and relax. My home is calm, dog-friendly, and set up with safety in mind. In addition to me, my mom is also home during the day and helps care for the dogs when needed, so there is always someone home to supervise and check in on pets. Dogs in my care enjoy regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment, and downtime. I closely supervise all pets, follow their routines, and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m experienced with crate training if needed, maintaining feeding schedules, administering basic medications, and respecting each owner’s house rules. Safety, cleanliness, and clear communication are always my priorities.
“Linda was incredible! She took care of our puppy while we run errands. Our puppy had a great time with her pups and we received pictures of all the fun. She gave me so much peace of mind. I will use her services again. Highly recommended!!!”

About: Retired US Air Force spouse. What sets me apart is my deep patience and respect for an animal's unique boundaries. I provide a structured, loving environment where your pet's routine is strictly followed, while always allowing anxious or shy animals to feel safe and comfortable at their own pace. I also have experience with senior dog, dogs with separation anxiety’s Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I manage my schedule from home. This allows me to be highly flexible, offering dedicated blocks of time for structured walks, timely drop-in visits, and the consistent, attentive care that keeps pets feeling safe and on schedule. Safety and trust are my highest priorities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strictly follow all security, lock, and gate protocols to ensure a safe environment. I maintain full supervision during walks, double-check that doors are secure upon leaving, and strictly adhere to the specific safety boundaries set by the owner.
About: *Hablo español* As a dog trainer focused on behavior, I create a structured, balanced environment that helps dogs feel calm, secure, and confident during their stay. I have knowledge of dog psychology and carefully manage routines, play, rest, and socialization based on each dog’s age, energy level, and behavior. Dogs are always separated in groups, appropriately for safety and comfort. I’m only out of the house 2–3 hours at a time for training sessions, so when I’m home, the dogs are out, supervised, and part of a loving daily routine. This is a loving and caring home where your pets will never feel like you’re gone! ❤️ I’m a lifelong animal lover and have owned dogs my entire life. I currently share my home with my emotional support Golden Retriever, Asher, and my 13-year-old daughter, who dreams of becoming a veterinarian. She’s like a little dog whisperer—animals are instantly drawn to her and she treats every one of them with so much love and care. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I have hands-on experience administering medications and caring for senior and special-needs pets. My late Cocker Spaniel needed daily medicine for his legs and hips, and I’ve also cared for diabetic pups that required regular insulin shots—so I know how to handle those needs with patience and compassion. My job is to stay home and care for the dogs I sit — it’s what I do full-time! 🐾 If I’m not at home, it’s usually because I’m out walking or training other dogs in the neighborhood. Pet sitting, walking, and training are my main focus, and I truly love spending my days surrounded by pups. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. If your pup has any special conditions or needs, I like to know in advance so I can prepare and make sure they’re cared for properly. I adjust my care based on each dog’s personality — lots of playtime for the energetic ones, and plenty of calm cuddles for the more relaxed pups. With your permission, I love giving treats (my daughter and I even make our own with yogurt and peanut butter, and we also keep a variety of healthy snacks at home). Most importantly, your dog will be treated like family — loved, hugged, and always welcome to snuggle with us on the couch, the bed, or even the floor!

“Ecco goes to doggy day care with Melissa every other week and he always has a great time. Ecco has so much energy and can be a handful sometimes but Melissa always has great things to say about him. I know he is in good hands while he is there and being taken care of. She never forgets to send a picture and give me updates. Gives me peace of mind knowing he is somewhere safe and having a great time”

About: I’m different because I truly treat every dog like they are part of my family. In my home, pups aren’t in cages or kennels – they get to chill in a comfy, safe space that feels just like home. I especially love small to medium size dogs and have a soft spot for those who are a little shy or need extra patience. Because I only take a few dogs at a time, I can give each one lots of one on one attention, constant supervision and the freedom to just be themselves – whether that’s playing, cuddling or napping. It’s family style care, full of love and peace of mind because I treat every pup like they are my own. 🐾❤️ Taking care of pets is part of my everyday life since I work from home as a freelancer. That means your pup is never left alone—they’re always surrounded by one or two caring adults who give them attention and love all day long. Whether it’s snuggles on the couch, potty breaks in our secure yard, or playful adventures, I’m there every step of the way. My flexible schedule lets me respond to each pup’s needs in real time, so they always feel safe, happy, and truly part of the family. Every moment with us is filled with care, affection, and a sense of home. 🐾❤️ Safety and trust is everything I do. My home is a calm, structured and loving environment where pets feel safe. We keep it clean and cozy and are always supervising – dogs are never left alone and are always being watched by one or two adults. Plus our fenced yard gives pups the freedom to play and explore safely outside. I follow each pet’s individual routine to ensure comfort and consistency whether it’s meal time, walks or downtime. My approach is positive reinforcement, gentle handling and lots of love so your pup feels at home. By combining professional responsibility with a love for animals I create a safe and trusted experience for every furry guest.

Linda was wonderful. I was nervous about leaving Ava Grace with a sitter however Linda made me feel comfortable from beginning to end. She communicated with me and was accommodating to a last minute change to my schedule. Ava Grace absolutely loved her. Linda and Ava Grace's interactions at drop-off and pick-up were heartwarming which proved that Ava Grace was happy. I will definitely utilize Linda again.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
