Upon meeting Julie and her 3 resident pups, I could see that she had a love for these special dogs and that Loki would be well cared for. I was worried that he would not want to engage. Before I could get to my appt., I received videos of Loki playing with her dogs. It warmed my heart to see him this happy. Julie is extremely knowledgable about dogs, especially the needs of a rescue dog. About: For the past 7 years, my husband Jason and I have lived in Australia, but we're back in the US as of 2025 and we’d love to take care of your dog! We are a clean, non-smoking, kid-free, 1-dog home, with a huge fenced-in yard. Dogs sleep with us (or whatever you feel most comfortable with) - no crates here, unless you prefer it for your cutie! About us... Jason and I love taking care of dogs. We both grew up with dogs (and cats) and so they have always played an important part of my life. My husband and I rescued a dog 3 years ago, and he is our "fur baby". He loves being around other dogs and is always looking for a playmate. Working from home makes it easy to take care of dogs! There's always time for breaks for meals and walking and play time. For social dogs, we have a very friendly dog Riggs, who is a 15 pound mini poodle shih tzu mix. He's great with other dogs, and picks up on their energy well. We prioritize the safety and well-being of every pet we care for. In our home, we provide fresh water always, and food according to the pet's dietary needs. We have a large fenced backyard that all dogs have access to as they please (the door remains open for them to go in and out, except at night when it's dark). During walks, I use a secure leash and harness/collar and pay close attention to their surroundings. When caring for pets, we follow your specific instructions for feeding, medication, and any other routines.

“This was Millie's first time in doggy day care. and Lindsey made it a good experience. Millie and Lindsey's sweet golden, Hawk, were happy to meet each other. Lindsey took them on two walks and they played ball in her back yard. Lindsey also sent photos during the day. Her love and knowledge of dogs is obvious. She did a wonderful job with Millie and I would not hesitate to take Millie to her again.”

I have cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from teeny tiny to 130+ lbs ! I love going on walks in nature and making sure dogs get sufficient exercise and mental stimulation. And of course, lots of snuggles! I have experience with elderly and special needs dogs as well, including medication and special diets. I look forward to meeting your sweet pup! I am a musician who works from home so I have a lot of flexibility and time to pour into the animals I am caring for. Daily walks are my favorite! I treat every space I enter as sacred and care for it like my own. My home has 2 small dogs currently, so it is designed for their care and safety. About: I’ve taken care of many dogs and animals my entire life!! I volunteered at shelters where they kept anything from dogs to ferrets ready for adoption. I will be very patient with animals and gently guide them away from anything they do that is not allowed in the owner’s care. I have trained many of my own dogs up-to advanced tricks and commands in which they listen and trust me completely. I also just adopted another puppy that I hope to train to be a service animal. I am a student so I will have a lot of time to take care of and play with animals !! I can fit in any kind of cats and dogs into my schedule and take very good care of them. In the client’s home, I will make sure the pet recognizes me from a meet and greet before approaching or make sure I don’t startle them by being a new person. Then, as the client requests, I will perform the care routine and include either some play time or treats to make sure they are extra happy before I have to go. I will make sure they are secure in the home before leaving as well. In my home, I will make sure they get their own room to acclimate and their own space to go to if needed for their own serenity. I will follow what they listen to at home while providing them a fun and relaxing environment. I can adjust to ant dietary or medicinal needs. My house is pet-proof.

About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs on and off since I was a teenager. In the last 9 or so years my love for being the “dog aunty” of my social circle has grown into a career and I have professionally cared for pets of all shapes and sizes, and with a wide range of needs and personalities. This includes caring for pets at my home and at the fur babies’ homes, day visits, grooming visits, training visits, and even overnight 24 hour sitting for up to a month at a time, with specific pets. I have also worked with several puppies and senior dogs and have had success in both introducing and reinforcing obedience training. I also have experience working with a range of pack sizes, caring for groups of 1-8 pets at a time, both large and small. In addition, I have experience caring for senior pets with special medical needs, and the necessary attention and clean up required for those pets. I love animals and I am always looking forward to meeting new animal friends. I am currently also working as a pet portraiture artist, so my schedule is up to me and I am very flexible and open to working around your schedule and your pets needs. Safety and stress free environment is number 1. I like to get to know the pets I cared for and what their specific needs are. I have experience and am comfortable with all common leash and harness types, and confident and excited to take your pet on a walk. I have worked with and helped a handful of reactive dogs improve on their stranger danger responses when out on walks. I don’t shy away from a challenge and would love to help if I can while letting your baby get some fresh air. I am confident and comfortable using a crate, both indoors and if needed for transport in case of an emergency. In the case of an emergency medical issue, I am quick to respond and have a good relationship with several local vet hospitals. I will keep your baby safe and happy and I am always ready to accommodate their parents wishes.

I work part time as a personal trainer in the day and dance teacher at night so I create my own schedule! I always keep my mornings free for walks, playtime, and any special needs for the dogs! Afternoon walks are also something I prioritize, it’s not only important for your pup to get that exercise but I like to decompress and enjoy nature as much as I can during the day. One of my favorite things to do is to go on refreshing walks and spend quality time at the park with my dog Jinx, and I'm sure your pup loves that too! If they are on the more relaxed side, I'm happy to spend indoors play time and/or simply cuddle. I have a 7 year old pup named Jinx who is friendly and loves a walk but if we go to the dog park he ideally loves just doing his own thing, he's more of an introvert 😂 Rest assured, your dog's safety is paramount to me. I have a spacious yard, which provides the perfect play area, it is not fenced so I use a secure 30ft leash when any dogs play outside, so your pup can enjoy freedom while being safely supervised. I also have a partner who lives with me and he has a heart that melts for dogs, so your fur baby is in safe hands. So, if you need a responsible and loving dog sitter, I'm here for you!
