“Susan was an amazing caretaker for Ryder this past weekend! She took him on several fun walks and made it feel like a little vacation for him. We loved receiving her updates and adorable photos throughout his stay. Ryder was clearly very well cared for, and we would absolutely love to have Susan help with him again in the future.”

“Melissa was so thoughtful and kind to both Daisy and I. It was our first time leaving Daisy since we adopted her. Melissa took the time to let us visit her home for a meet-and -greet and sniffs of her property a few days before Daisy’s stay. Melissa was so thoughtful and attentive to Daisy’s needs. I have no doubt that Daisy is in good hands with Melissa .”

“We give Lauren 5 STARS she's so friendly and sends us updates and photos of are puppies well are 1 lil guy is almost 17 years old so can't see to good but still has fun none the less!! Thanks again Lauren G 🐶🐶”

“Cabby had a great time with Heather and Calob for 4 days. They sent daily updates with pictures. It was nice to know she was getting good care which allowed us to enjoy our vacation!”

“Lexi and her family treated our dog as their own, and they truly understand what it means to care for a dog. There was never a worry that Moose wouldn’t get adequate stimulation with the many walks and backyard time spent with this family. The most noticeable difference between Lexi and other sitters was Moose’s energy when we picked him up. He wasn’t full of anxious energy and he seemed like our normal pup. This gives us the peace of mind and then some for any future stays he has with this household.”

“Very happy with Jennifer looking after our dog. She took great photos of him and sent us updates of his stay. We just picked him up and he's one happy and very tired dog! We will definitely have her look after him again. Highly recommend!”

About: I have cared for a wide variety of animals over the years. I spent several years volunteering at a veterinary clinic and later at a humane society, where I gained hands-on experience in animal care, handling, and support. I telework so I am at home most of the day. When I do leave, my dog gets to hang out in the dog run where he has access to comfy beds, toys and an upstairs patio where he can keep an eye on all the goings-on. I have a fully fenced yard that provides a safe, secure space for dogs to run, play, or relax comfortably. With my previous experience volunteering at a veterinary clinic, I am confident and comfortable administering medications when needed.
“Ana was absolutely amazing with my Goldendoodle! She took such great care of him, kept me updated, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. It was clear he was happy, comfortable, and well loved in her care. I would definitely trust Ana to watch him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter. Thank you so much, Ana!! :)”

“Adriana is a dog lover! I was so impressed by her commitment and care for my two dogs. This was the first time that my dogs had stayed with her, but I was immediately reassured that they were thriving by her level of communication - many pictures a day! She also is great at problem solving around issues of eating, exercise, and play time. She was so invested in my dogs - it was heartwarming. I also immediately booked another three weeks with her. My dogs did not want to come home (the love, treats and care went a long way). Thanks, Adriana!”

“Our dogs have never been happier! They loved the massive fenced yard and all the playtime. I loved the photos of them romping that Dustin kindly sent often. Can’t wait to have them board again.”

“I would absolutely recommend Liz to take care of your pup. Hugo had a great time and it’s a great space. The pictures she sent were all of our doggie smiling and sleeping and totally comfortable. We will be using Liz for daycare as well as future pet sitting.”

“This was the second time my dog Ollie was boarded at Jamies house. It was for two weeks. I received pictures of Ollie and updates on his well being. Jamie has been prompt in responding to my communications. Ollie was obviously happy, well cared for and took his time leaving their house when I picked him up . I will be using Jamie’s service in the future.”

“Our dogs loved it at Alex and Bri's home. The pups are usually anxious when we leave but they made themselves right at home. They loved the new grass put in their large backyard, found their favorite spot on their couch and got plenty of snuggles. We were updated constantly with plenty of pictures which assured us that they were being very well taken care of. We booked our next stay with them before we even picked them up. I highly recommend Alex and Bri!”

“Katy provided a true at home experience and sent daily pictures of our Schnauzer cuddled up next to her lovely daughter. When we picked her up, Stella ran to members of Katie’s family as well as us. She was clearly comfortable with them. My husband was afraid she wouldn’t want to come home with us! We booked late on a holiday weekend and ended up rescheduling our pick up time to a couple hours later. Katie was totally accommodating. We had a perfect boarding experience! Thanks Katie and also to your lovely family. We hope to see you again soon!”

“We cannot recommend Lori and Frank more highly. This was Daisy’s very first time with a pet sitter, and as a rescue pup she can be a bit nervous in new situations. From the moment we met them, Lori and Frank immediately made her feel comfortable—not just with them, but also with their wonderful adult children. They took exceptional care of Daisy and truly made her part of their family. Thanks to their calm, loving environment, Daisy even gained the confidence to make a new doggy friend with another pet guest during her stay, which meant so much to us. We loved receiving regular updates and photos, and it was clear every step of the way that Daisy was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Leaving your dog for the first time is never easy, but Lori and Frank made the entire experience completely stress-free. We are so grateful for the love and attention they gave Daisy and would trust them again without hesitation.”

“Kyline was fantastic for our house and kitty. Super upfront about work schedule. She sent us numerous photos and updates with and without prompting. Left the house clean, and took care of everything we asked. Highly recommend.”

About: I’m the lady who crosses the street to ask if I can pet your dog. I love all dogs, but big dogs have my heart. I confess, I’m also the lady that will remember your dog’s name, age and origins, but perhaps not always your name. Although I have the confidence and experience to befriend your big dogs, that shouldn’t suggest that I don’t love our smaller friends, as well. Big and small, I love them all❣️ I’ve been responsible for animals most of my life. Chiefly, I’ve had the privilege to care and own big dogs. Growing up, we had a Sheppard-Mastiff mix, and that’s when my love for big dogs began. In our house, we had a macaw, cockatoo, kākāriki, ring-necked parakeet, and a cockatiel, tropical/ saltwater fish, dogs, and cats. I continue to be a proud breed ambassador and have owned 4 Rottweilers over the years. I’ve been gainfully employed as a civil servant for 25 years. After my last Rottweiler passed away, I wanted to care for a dog again, but haven’t adopted quite yet. I enjoy hiking, outdoor activities, walking and traveling, and of course dogs! I’ve had the privilege to care for our misunderstood and sometimes reactive dog friends, as well. All dogs deserve love. I helped welp Belgian Malinois puppies and ensure they found loving, deserving homes. I joke that, “If the choice was between world peace or puppies, I would choose puppies.” I can’t wait to meet your doggie! Since I’m a civil servant, my schedule is consistent. I have free nights and 3-day weekends. I enjoy a lot of free time that I would like to fulfill with dogs. I have a secured, fenced yard. I can also kennel your pets as well. My responsibility to you is ensuring your family member is secure in my charge.
“Blake was absolutely lovely while she dropped in to take care of my cat while I was away for a few days. She was super responsive, kind, considerate, sent lots of pictures and I enjoyed her daily write ups. Definitely will book again, thank you for taking such good care of my cat!”

“Laura has been a dependable buddy for our two cats while we are away. She is super friendly, easy to communicate with, and very reliable. We are very lucky to have her taking care of of our girls!”

“Gina took amazing care of our fur baby! She was super communicative, friendly, and took amazing pictures while we were away. Our shy kitty loved her immediately! Definitely will ask her to pet sit for us again. 💛”

About: Pawnda Care began primarily as a dog walking and pet sitting service but has since shifted its focus to cat sitting. I discovered immense joy in spending time with cats, particularly the shy ones that often struggle to connect with strangers. Once all the essential tasks are completed, we turn on the television and enjoy a cuddle session. Depending on the cat's needs, I might bring along my current craft project to relax and bond with the furry companion.
About: Hi! I am in between doggo's right now:). I have lots of extra love to spend on your pet while you are away:). I am great with walks, playing, pet hugs and medication ( if needed ). My yard is HUGE and I have an in/out dog door. I are totally comfortable doing extra special meals also. . I am happy to crate your pup if that is your routine for daytime or nighttime, but if not- your pup will be just hanging out with me and likely going on a hike during the day. I have 2 acres, completely fenced. I have a dog door, so your pup can go in and out as needed, but I can also close that off if needed. I only take (at max) 2 dogs at a time, so your dog will get a ton of attention.

“Toni is a very professional and excellent pet sitter. She looked after my nervous cat, including giving her meds and looking out for accidents, in her stride. She sent me updates daily with photos. She left my house just as I had left it (she stayed over for two nights). The way I know a pet sitter has done a great job is when my cat is calm and relaxed when I return, as if I never went away, and that is how it was. I highly recommend Toni. The best!”

“This should really be at least 10 stars. Julie is a true professional. She clearly loves animals and orivided such loving care. Iline if the most difficult things anout my recent move to California was finding care for the cats when we travel. Pip especially needs extra TLC and must be medicated daily. Julie quickly got through the business of the day and spent some quality time each day with the “kids.” Couldn’t be happier!”

“Amanda definitely has a way with animals; she can even win the heart of our younger cat who tends to be more shy. She is an awesome communicator and provides timely updates and lots of photos, which make us feel comfortable when we are away.”

About: I have cats my whole life. I also routinely care for friends and neighbors cats. My current cat, Sweeney is 16 and going strong! My dog, Tommy and Sweeney are best friends, it’s adorable!

About: I’ve had experience caring for cats for many years and understand that every cat has their own personality, comfort level, and routine. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive, and I’ve cared for both indoor and outdoor cats in the past. Whether your cat is playful, shy, independent, or needs extra attention, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while keeping you updated with messages and photos.
About: I grew up with many animals in our household from dogs, cats, turtles, birds, fish, and bunnies and always had a unique connection to them. I have an innate empathetic understanding with them. I have experience with training younger dogs, as well as taking care of elderly dogs. I have experience providing necessary medication if needed, as well as lots of love and snuggles and adventurous hikes or leisurely walks for elderly animals. Currently I have a cat and would love to have another dog but for now getting to take care of other people's dogs or cats would satisfy my desire to be around lots of animals. I am currently a full-time student and I work remotely online so my schedule is flexible and I can work from anywhere. I would prefer to watch dogs and cats in your home. I like to communicate with the owner of the pet and get a clear understanding if there is a particular feeding or walk schedule, as well as if medications are required, or crate preferences. I am happy to send a photo of your animal baby each day if you like daily check ups. I love communication so trust and understanding are developed between myself and the owner.

“Heather and Calob are so awesome! I’m so glad to have found them to watch our two pups. They are so flexible, responsive and easy to coordinate with. They were great about sending photos too. And our pups sure loved them. Looking forward many more stays in the future!”

“My pug LOVES spending time at Lauren and Ben’s house playing with all the dogs or just lounging on the floor. When we arrive, he tugs hard on his leash to get inside. It’s wonderful to know that when he’s away from home, he’s safe and happy in their care.”

“Jen was great! We dropped Cooper off for the day and felt very comfortable leaving, knowing he was in great hands! Her two dogs were very sweet and were great companions for Cooper during his day there. When we picked Cooper up it was obvious he had a great day and was well taken care of. We would definitely bring Cooper back again when we are in the area.”

“I didn’t expect to need someone to watch our dogs for the day but they ended up having a little vacation of their own! Thank you sooo much! They were both happy when we picked up and we would plan a trip this way just so they could have a fun day with David again. While we had our own little vacation both our dogs did as well.”

About: I have been a nurse for 22 years. I am in school again and at home with my 17 lb dog all the time. I have cared for dogs my whole life and taken care of my friends dogs while they travel for as along as I can remember. I have a large fenced in back yard and a dog door. I am easily able to handle medication and medications schedules. My dog loves to play with other dogs and I am hoping to find regulars who would like frequent care so she can have her friends over! I am in school full time via an online program so I am home a tremendous amount. There will be a few days a week that I go into a clinic for 8 hours but most days and nights I am home. We go on nightly walks as well. There is a large fenced yard and in general the back door is open and my dog goes in and out as she wishes! I am very flexible!
About: I’ve always had dogs and I have yet to met me a dog that didn’t like me. My friends started to notice when I’d come over to their houses, that I’d pay more attention to their dogs, than I would to my friends. If their dog didn’t get a walk that day, I’d offered to take them by myself. I’d always give them extra affection. I would even teach them new tricks. Recently, I’ve had to put my two old dogs down. So I’m now available to spend night away from home. Knowing how much I missed having a dog to love and care for, my friends started asking me to watch their dogs. They trusted wouldn’t just take him out to go to the bathroom, but I would actually care for them and give their dogs the same affection I’d give my own. I work Friday and Saturday 9am-4pm other than that my schedule is wide open. Days I work I let dogs out before and come straight home after work to relieve and take for a walk. I’m available for sleep over or just to get your dog out of the house for a nice long walk. Dogs are just like having kids. They need just as much care and attention. Your home is your comfort zone. I respect people property and when you return home, it will be as if you never left.
About: I am a huge animal lover and have had many pets all of my life. My dogs are not just pets but members of the family. I have had many dogs over the years ranging from cockapoo’s, terriers, Westies, a German Shepherd and yellow Labs. I have also had 5 cats. My current dog and cat are best friends! I care for many friends and neighbor dogs and have play dates on a daily basis. Dogs are always on the guest list for dinner parties or holiday gatherings and have gifts under the tree. If I had a bigger yard, I’d have a dozen. I would love to meet and spoil your dog while you were away. I will treat them like my own and we will have a great time together. After retiring from my long term job, I became a caregiver for family members. I enjoy walking so thought this would be a perfect fit for getting more exercise and fill my love of having multiple dogs. I have availability in between caring for people and would love to take your dog for a walk. I will care for your pets as my own in your home and a walk. If there is any special requests or instructions, I will happily follow.
About: I’ve had pets in my life since childhood, growing up on a farm with dogs, cats, and horses. Caring for pets is second nature to me. Since moving to the U. S. 20 years ago, I’ve looked after friends and neighbors’ dogs, including diabetic and senior pups that need extra love and attention. I treat every dog like family, with patience, kindness, and genuine care. I’m a UCLA nursing student currently doing clinical hours only three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexible time throughout the day. That means I’m able to give your pet lots of attention, playtime, and long walks. Whether it’s daily check-ins or longer stays, I can easily fit pet care into my schedule and make sure your pup feels loved and cared for. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine so they stay comfortable and stress-free. In my home, I have a fenced yard and a beautiful neighborhood for walks. I also stick closely to their usual schedule. No matter the place, your pet gets consistent, loving care.

About: I’ve spent over ten years caring for dogs and cats of all ages from playful puppies and kittens to wise seniors. I work as a shepherd and look after sheep, goats and dogs, which has helped me stay calm, attentive and aware of behavior, safety, and fun. I’m trained in safe handling, bite prevention, and canine behavior and I rely on positive reinforcement to support pets. I take the responsibility of caring for your furry family seriously, making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while in my care. Animals are part of my everyday life. I make sure pets get attention, walks, playtime, and companionship on a regular schedule so they’re happy and healthy. I prioritize safety and comfort in every home. Pets are supervised, loved, and cared for with positive reinforcement so they feel secure and relaxed while you’re away.
“Ellen was such a great sitter! I needed a Rover sitter last minute and she was able to help. She is very kind and communicative and I immediately felt comfortable leaving Grayson with her. She provided photo updates and reassured me he was fitting in well with her pups! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer! (Oh and she sent Grayson home with a stash of really good treats which he promptly reminded me of when we got home - thanks, Ellen!)”
About: Currently being a stay at home mother, my hours are very flexible! Growing up with cats and dogs, my kiddos and I are currently lacking the fun presence of furry friends! Although my apartment is not the biggest, allowing only one dog at a time allows all of my attention to be focused. If pets are to stay overnight you can expect daily walks, trips to dog parks and most likely a bath if we get too ambitious. I am an adventurous person that believes dogs have individual personalities and unique characteristics that should be embraced and loved. Allowing pets to cuddle up on the couch MAY be negotiated because I am a sucker for puppy eyes. I am currently a stay at home with my three kiddos. I home school, so including a dog in the mix is so much fun for us! We often go on walks and trips to the park. I have a fenced yard, doggie door for easy outside access and loving, gentle kids to keep your animals company with lots of love and play.

“Bernadette was wonderful with my rescue puppy Isabel!! It was her first time being left with someone, and I felt calm and confident knowing she was in Bernadette’s care. Bernadette clearly knows so much about animals and was very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable about Isabel’s communication and needs. I highly recommend Bernadette!!”

“We booked Sheila last minute and she was able to accommodate care for Gabby. We booked a tour with Safari West which was less than 20 minutes from her house. When we got to her home, she greeted us and Gabby appeared to like Sheila right away, so much so that we called her “Aunty Sheila”. It made me feel at ease knowing that Gabby would be cared for by a stranger who felt like family. While we were away, Sheila sent us a photo of Gabby playing with a chew toy. Sheila’s home had everything Gabby needed (crate, toys, and a big fence yard. We would definitely use her again!”

“Just visiting the area and super grateful to have found Jestina so I could attend an event. She loved my energetic boxer mix as if she were her own. I appreciated the updates, pix and video, and also the warm interest she took in my own life too! (Sometimes the dogs get all the attention!) Highly recommend and will use again when in town! Thank you, Jestina!”

About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. Although I work part-time, I am generally available 7 days a week for house sitting. I am willing to accommodate crazy schedules and last minute plans if need be. I have a small home but a big yard, so while I can’t accommodate boarding, I have a large outdoor space and my own pup that is eager for play dates during the day. As for house sitting, I provide attentive, personalized care in my client’s home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely. With my history in the animal health field, I am comfortable administering any medications if needed. As a person who values communication, I provide regular ‘pupdates’ and pictures so owners feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.
About: Dogs & cats have been in my life since I was born! Growing up, I’ve taken care of so many dogs, cats, and even geckos. These lovely pets including my own, my neighbors, & my friends! I’m currently working Sunday and Monday mornings and in school part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays while focused on saving up money to further pay for my college education, so I have plenty of time available around those days to take care of your lovely pets! ♥️ My Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are completely free and I’ll be happy to keep your furry friend company, on a walk, or check in on them while you are away. :) I have four (some very shy) cats and a dog at home, so while I am unable to bring cats into my own home, I will be able to stay full-time in your home with your fur babies and provide them with all the care they need, while they’re comfortably in their home-environment.
“Sarah is such a loving and caring person with my dog. He absolutely loves her and her kids! She always keeps me updated on everything that’s going on with him and responds to every single one of my messages super quickly. I can tell he is happy, safe, and well cared for with her. I would definitely trust her with my dog again without hesitation. Highly recommend Sarah! ❤️🐶”

“Sebastian did a fantastic job walking my dog! He was professional, reliable, and clearly cared about my dog’s well-being. I came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I highly recommend Sebastian!”

“Kyle really helped us out this week! He was always on time and our dog really liked going on walks with him. When our dog got home he was just as happy as can be. Thank you Kyle”

“I’m so glad Lindsey was able to walk and feed our pup while we were gone for part of the day! Lindsey was super communicative and sent lots of photos and videos so we could see how much fun our pup was having with her. She even took her on an extra long walk and played with her after. It was such a relief to see our dog in good hands while we were away!”

“Amanda takes great care with our older, tripod Bella. Bells is always happy to see her even if she doesn't feel like walking that day. We appreciate that Amanda lets us know things that she notices so we can compare with actions we are also seeing with Bella.”

“Michelle was awesome. Communicated clearly with us so we knew when she was arriving. Our dogs loved her. Now they are tuckered out and napping after their great adventure with Michelle. Thanks for taking care of them. Would have given 10 stars if it was available!!”

“Mackenzie is reliable and very adapt at being with dogs. Our dog is a bit apprehensive when on a walk she encounters other dogs. Kenzie has helped her the less reactive. I will definitely recommend.her.”

“Jill has a beautiful home and property for the dogs to run and have fun. Great for socializing your dog. My fearful rescue dog was eight and home and relaxed and happy when I picked her up :)”

“Robert sent updates everyday and I knew Riley and Luma were spoiled at his house. Riley is a senior and needs eye drops twice a day, Robert was understanding and provided what she needed.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Sylvie and her family were so wonderful! She provided great communication, sharing walks and snuggles through daily photos with us. Our two pups were having the best time! Sylvie and her family treated our dogs like family, highly recommend and would book again! Thank you Sylvie!”

“Earl was great to work with! He is easy going and great with animals. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times. I would definitely recommend this provider and we will surely be using him again in the future.”

“Tucker always love to go to the farm and hang out with his retriever buddies. Jake and Shayla are great, attentive and professional. He gets so much love there, I feel good about leaving him when I’m away.”

“Stacie was so communicative, friendly, and understanding. She sent me pictures daily of my girl, and was so kind in all of her messages. Her family is incredibly loving. I can’t wait for her to watch my girl again in the future because I know that she’s in capable and safe hands!”

About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. If your dog loves to hike, we regularly go for hikes on the trails around Sonoma County, or to Dillon Beach to run around off leash.
