About: I have been taking care of friends and families pets since I was 16. Taking care of their animals while they are on vacation. I was responsive for feeding, walking, taking them out to use the bathroom, playing with them and caring for them while their parents were away. I’m a teacher. During the school year I’m available every day, but all day on Saturday's and Sunday's. In the summer time my availability is wide open! I live in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of roads and paths for walking around to get plenty of exercise. We have an open basement for playing and a dog of our own they can have fun with!
About: Aside from having a dog and two cats in my family home, I have walked dogs, pet sat, completed check-ins for both cats and dogs, and even have experience in extended stays! About: Something that sets me apart from others is the fact that I raised my parents dog Hildi as I was doing online school at the time! The only days I have limited availability are Tuesdays and Thursdays, as I spend time with family on those days. My husband also works a varied schedule, so in the rare event that I’m unexpectedly unavailable, he can usually step in to help with something simple like letting your pup outside or making sure your pet is fed. About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to sweet seniors. Ive dealt with multiple dogs at once, all with different personalities. From shy, energetic, to reactive. I have done everything from daily walks, to overnight stays for clients. Handling the different routines. About: I’ve always grown up and helped take care of family pets. I had mostly big dogs growing up. There’s no breeds that I’m really scared of or anything like that. I currently have two pets now one is a seven month Alaskan malamute and one is a one year-old domestic short hair. I only work two days a week and my job is pretty flexible so I’ll have really any time to be able to give your dog or cat all the love and attention that they need I will do what the pet parent says to do on guidance for the pet. I have had experience with kennel training lease training all of that if you have a fenced in yard, I’ll it’ll be better.
About: I've cared for dogs of various breeds, sizes and ages for family, friends, and now people on Rover. I must say, I've met some pretty awesome dogs and people through Rover. I am retired, but clean a couple houses and a furniture store on a part-time basis. The longest I'm away is typically 4 to 5 hours on cleaning days. I don't have a dog of my own at this time. My Ella, sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in December of 2021. Crazy how your life totally changes when they are gone. I miss all my dogs more than anything and will some day have another dog or two. In the meantime, I get my dog fix by taking care of other people's dogs. I will provide exercise and companionship for your dog(s) as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to leave them when you want some time away. I will do my best to keep them on the schedule and routine they are used to.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
