About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience raising and caring for dogs from the very beginning of their lives. As an AKC puppy breeder, I’ve worked closely with litters from birth through their transition into new homes, which has given me a deep understanding of puppy behavior, early training, and proper care routines. I’m confident working with young puppies, including crate training, potty training, feeding schedules, and helping them feel safe and secure. I also have experience providing emotional support–focused care, as my own dog is an ESA, so I’m very attentive to each pet’s emotional needs, not just their physical care. Beyond puppies, I provide patient, gentle care for dogs of all ages, including seniors who may need a slower pace, extra comfort, or medication support. I treat every pet like they’re my own—making sure they feel loved, safe, and relaxed while you’re away. What really makes my care different is the level of attention and connection I give. I don’t just “watch” pets—I build trust with them, understand their routines, and create a calm, nurturing environment so they feel completely at home. I am currently a stay at home mom to a two year old. So I have plenty of flexibility to make sure everyone keeps their routines. I have a fenced area, as well as 4 acres of property for the animals to play on. I also have large crates if the animals are crate trained.
“Alexandra is awesome. She is very sweet and she was able to coax our very shy dog out from under the bed and walk him. Alexandra was available on short notice multiple times and her flexibility helped us thru a difficult transition. We will definitely book with her again.”

About: I have animal sat and house sat for about 10 years and absolutely love it! I have always had a passion for animals and especially love caring for dogs and cats. I believe that animals can sense that I am a genuine and kind person, which is important when it comes to caring for animals because it helps build a trusting relationship. I have cared for different dog and cat breeds (such as German Shepherds, Chihuahuas, Tabby Cats, etc.), as well as the occasional fish, guinea pig, hamster, and bird! :) I currently work from home full time and my flexible schedule allows me more time to spend with your fur babies! I am also available before/after normal work hours (8am-5pm). The safety and well-being of your fur babies is my # 1 concern. I ensure they can’t get into anything they aren’t supposed to. I am experienced with administering oral medication.
About: I can handle crazy, calm, anxious and any and all dogs, Because I've grown up around dogs and cats, I know animals well. I know the difference between fear and aggression and how to read body language I'm good to work any days and nights as a general rule. I am a caregiver for people with disabilities but that's typically an overnight shift. I can feed, walk, and play with any animals in your home and can stay overnight most nights. I don't have the means to house any though.
About: What sets me apart is how personally I take your dog’s care. I don’t do “one-size-fits-all” sitting—I tailor my approach to your dog’s routine, energy level, and comfort, and give them my full attention and affection. I work in-office Monday through Thursday and love spending my weekends doing drop-ins and pet care! Midweek availability may be possible with advance notice—feel free to ask! I love dogs deeply and care for them with patience, structure, and lots of affection. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routines, and comfort level so they feel safe and happy. About: Not only do I have years of experience taking care of pets from caring for my own, neighbors, friends and acquaintances, I am currently in school to be a veterinary technician. I am learning all about animal health care and grooming. I am a cat parent myself and sister to a silly pitti pup. My elderly cat is diabetic and I’ve been administering twice daily injections for the last six years. I’m proficient in giving injections and oral medications. I am especially familiar and capable of caring for elderly pets and their special needs. I’ve pet sat overnight multiple times for various clients ensuring a familiar and comfortable environment for my clients while also keeping their homes safe and secure. I love all animals and get excited to meet new pets and just want to do whatever it takes to make them happy and safe. I’m in school now several days a week but am very flexible to meet clients needs. I can stop by for walks, potty breaks, feeding, medicine administering on a schedule that best fits the client. I can come to your home to visit your pet for feedings, playtime, potty time, on a drop I basis or I can stay overnight for around the clock companionship and monitoring especially if you have an elderly or sick cat. I’ve got references from overnight clients on my trustworthiness and care of their fur babies and their homes.
About: To whom it may concern: First, thank you for taking the time to consider me as a candidate to care for your pet. I want to assure you of my level of expertise, nurturing nature, and concern for training and order in their life/lives. After reviewing my qualifications, I urge you to consider the value you get by employing a candidate like myself--your pet will be treated like my own, cared for and assuredly will have an enjoyable time. My husband and I own a very well behaved and playful Australian Shepherd, Malachi. He's currently two and a half years old, and regularly receives attention that a herding dog needs. He's walked, exercised, and ran throughout the week. We constantly reinforce good habits and sharpen his training. Since we purchased him as a puppy, here's a small list of the training that he has mastered. - Sit - Come - Lay down - Roll over - Paw and other paw - Fetch - Whisper - Speak - Crawl - Get your ball - Drop it - Leave it Anybody can list a number of commands their dog has mastered, but it goes to show the amount of training that we have invested in our pet. We're regularly ensuring that he knows how to behave in front of people, other dogs, and alone. Dogs have very active brains that need to be worked out in order to keep them from developing bad habits such as digging, chewing, and needlessly barking. I will, if hired, employ the same level of determination in reinforcing your pet(s) good habits so that they are the best behaved that they can be. While I don't have a lot of quantitative experience in handling pets on my resume, our friends routinely consider us first for their long term pet care needs. We have recently watched our neighbors' two dogs for a period of 17 days while they went out of state--their dogs got walks, training, treats, and play time as appropriate. I am driven to get an opportunity to prove my value to you as a pet care provider. Consider me for employment and I know that both you and your pet(s) will be satisfied with the decision. I'm available to meet and interview prior to any employment. I will also consider dog-sitting in home if your dog is up to date on vaccines and has a local veterinary care provider. Thanks again for your consideration. I look forward to hearing positively from you soon. Very Respectfully, Carlyn Buchs
