About: I've been a dog owner my whole life and currently own an amazing 12-year old German Shepherd mix, Ghost. I have worked for a dog trainer, volunteered at shelters, and fostered dogs so I am comfortable with all kinds and personalities of animals! I love training dogs so don't be surprised if I return your pup with a new trick, or better leash manners 😉 Due to Ghost's age, I would prefer to board dogs who aren't too wild and won't jump all over him. Those 12-year old hips can't handle it! While he doesn't go on long walks anymore, I do still love to walk nature preserves, or the neighborhoods in my area, and often walk about 3 miles in the evening. I miss having a dog that can come with me! However, I've also become quite adept at senior care, so if long walks aren't quite your dog's speed, I'm also happy to host seniors and couch potatoes, since they'll fit right into our lifestyle too 😊 I work a 9-5 and go into the office Tuesday - Thursday, so on those days I can only host dogs who are able to be alone for that long. I have an unfenced yard and a screened in back patio where my dog loves to spend his time. I can easily crate your pup for you when I leave the house if need be, but my dog always has the run of the house!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 7 years and cats for less than a year. I treat pets like children and make sure they get the attention, time, and food needed to be healthy and happy. I work full-time near Northlake Mall but will make the time to get up early to take care of your pets and will designate time during my lunch breaks to taking care and visiting and making sure they are fed. After work can be time to play and feed your pets! I will make sure I spend enough time around your pets to feel they got the attention and playtime needed to be happy. About: I have such a love and passion for all animals! I have experience with pets of all ages, shapes, and sizes and can administer medication. I am retired so I have plenty of time to care for your furbabies! It’s wonderful not having any sort of set schedule now because it allows me to be available on weekdays and weekends. I live in an apartment with my dog and two cats so any pet coming to visit would need to be ok not being the only baby. I do have a large crate if needed.

Rachel was caring-and followed all my specific directions with my cat and entry into my apartment, etc. She also sent me photos after each visit and reported if the cat played, looked out the window or whatever happened during the visits. Rachel was very thorough ~ very caring. I highly recommend Rachel to watch your animal as I can say that my cat was very content and well cared with Rachel as her 😸cat sitter.
Absolutely phenomenal first experience. Joanna took great care of my two pups for about a week and I genuinely have zero complaints. Every visit was detailed in the notecard of everything that happened as well as several photos sent every single time. My dogs seemed to have really liked her as well.
