I'm able to gently take your senior dog out slowly, or I can run your 2 year old Australian Shepherd around the entire 3 mile neighborhood loop. Your mileage may vary. Do you need to drop off your large dog for a hour(s) of some serious play with a gentle giant of a GSD? That can be arranged, too! I'm currently looking for work and have no other obligations short term. I'm available ALL the time. Would love to watch your pets 😍 and help you out!! I am in a 1700 single story home with a fenced in yard, with enough room for big dog zoomies. There's an entrance to the Greenbelt 50 yards down my street for great walks, and Latta Nature Preserve is 1.5 miles away. So many options for great walks. I keep a casual home, dogs are welcome on furniture. Or not, if owner prefers. I know basic animal first aid and CPR, and keep a first aid kit handy. We have lots of toys, love, and patience.

About: Since birth grew up with a family dog, German Shepherds, a Lab, and at 10 years old I was given responsibility for my own dog a Maltese, Le Petite Pookay( Pookie for short). When I went off to college my Mom stole(inside joke) adopted her and I haven’t had my own dog since but over the course of the past 20 years Ive watched plenty of friends and family dogs and pets. Some claim me to be the Dog Whisperer as even shy pups seem to gravitate towards me. This last year, while transitioning to the Charlotte. NC area I stayed with a Rover host and helped out. And now that Im in my own place, a two story townhouse, I’d love to continue to host and care for your fur babies. I really miss having a furry family member around but truly excited for the opportunity to take care of your animal loved one. I do know about providing excellent customer service, the importance of integrity and working hard with the importance of humility. I work from home, so my availability to host is flexible and open. I also, don’t leave the house too often for long periods and will be attentive to caring for your pet. My first floor level is open for your fur baby to free roam, but can also crate if preferred. I have a few areas with tile for easy cleaning. In addition, I have a backyard with some enclosure but have a tie down to attach to collar or harness for first and last pet relief but my subdivision has a dog walk trail for walks and extended exercise.

Some claim me to be the Dog Whisperer as even shy pups seem to gravitate towards me. This last year, while transitioning to the Charlotte. NC area I stayed with a Rover host and helped out. And now that Im in my own place, a two story townhouse, I’d love to continue to host and care for your fur babies. I really miss having a furry family member around but truly excited for the opportunity to take care of your animal loved one. I do know about providing excellent customer service, the importance of integrity and working hard with the importance of humility. Service is the heart of who I am and know the special bond our family furries hold in our lives. I can't wait and hope to care for your furry loved one soon! I work from home, so my availability to host is flexible and open. I also, don’t leave the house too often for long periods and will be attentive to caring for your pet. My first floor level is open for your fur baby to free roam, but can also crate if preferred. I have a few areas with tile for easy cleaning. In addition, I have a backyard with some enclosure but have a tie down to attach to collar or harness for first and last pet relief but my subdivision has a dog walk trail for walks and extended exercise.

About: 11 years caring for my Labrador, including training, grooming, feeding, and daily care. Patient, attentive, and skilled at building trust with pets of all ages. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I work around the pets in my care. I currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate earlier or later times whenever possible—just ask! 😊 I live with my husband in a pet-friendly apartment in NoDa with an elevator, so there are no stairs to worry about. We currently don’t have any resident pets, creating a calm environment that works especially well for senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who prefer having the space to themselves. I’ve had animals my entire life. I raised and trained my own Labrador Retriever from the time she was 47 days old, and she was my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also recently cared for both my senior Labrador and my senior cat through their health challenges, so I’m comfortable following routines, administering medications, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy grooming and helping puppies learn good habits through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and right at home. To provide personalized care, I keep my bookings small. Occasionally, there may be one other friendly guest staying at the same time, depending on compatibility and everyone’s comfort level. If your pet does best as the only pet, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate their needs.
