About: Hi! My name is Matty, and I have been owning for and caring for various species of pets for most of my life, from dogs and cats, to horses and hamsters. I currently own a dog and a gecko! I trained my own dog, and have dog sat for various breeds and temperaments of dogs over the years. My own dog is a rescue, so I understand dogs with certain reactivity issues or fears. My schedule is pretty wide open until April 2026. Please contact me with specific questions about dates or times. I am a park ranger for 6 months of the year, so I am in the area until early spring 2026. As a lifelong pet owner myself, and someone who has also relied on pet sitters over the years, I understand how important pet safety and comfort is. Keeping your pet safe is my number 1 goal. I rely on positive reinforcement when working with and caring for animals. I believe in being both gentle and confident is the key to successfully working with animals.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs both big and small and have most experience regarding senior dogs as I have my own as well, and even puppies. I also am a lover of walking/hikes and love to bring any dog along with me! I currently have a fairly open schedule with just two classes during the week for only an hour each monday-thursday but can come in the morning afternoon or evening around those classes anytime! I have experience with a leash for walking as well as crate experience as well if required. In clients homes I always make sure to keep a close eye on pets and follow any guidelines homeowners have set whether it be a leash etc. I also always make sure to clean up if need be especially with cats and food haha. At my own home there is no fence but I am always sure to keep an eye on the pets.

About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. I work remotely in my job so I am happy to work from wherever is needed to take care of your pet. My schedule is flexible and I will work hard to accommodate the schedule of you pet. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

About: I've taken care of animals since I was in high school. I deeply enjoy walking dogs, taking care of cats, and ensuring that each animal has what they need to succeed and thrive. I am a college student with mostly morning classes. I am available for walks and drop-ins in the greater Rochester area around Henrietta, extending south to Geneseo and Lakeville. Care for pets in homes involves putting the pet and pet owners' needs first, and balancing environmental, dog, and personal needs well. I ensure this by clear communication with owners, responsibility for myself and for the care and well-being of your pets, and setting clear expectations (and treats!) with pets.

About: Megan- lover of all things with a beating heart; avid nature enthusiast. Have cared for pets personally and privately since I was 10. Clients relied on me for potty breaks and basic daily care. I have cat-sit as well as horse-sit. Making sure the pets are happy at all times and being engaged in their surroundings is a goal for me. Have trained several of my own dogs - I have 3 - and several dogs in the family & friends. I understand levels of obedience and train ability differ from animal to animal and have the patience to work among your animals needs. Have worked at doggie daycare and a dog kennel extensively in my career. Have administered plenty of dog medications. Bryanna - kind hearted, nurturing individual. Have been enjoying the company of my dogs and others’ pets since about 2010. Have dog-sat & cared for some wild pets, even chickens and snakes! Brought a tiny blind kitten back to life. Had roughly 2 years of basic grooming experience. Nail trimming/dremel, ear cleaning, brushing, bathing. Went on to work at a dog kennel, relocated to Buffalo, and worked at another dog kennel (the same one as Megan!) and learned even more about body language and behavior. Looking forward to meeting the sweet pets! We usually take our 3 dogs out for socialization purposes at least twice a day including walking, playing, training, public stimulation. We have a very open schedule and can almost always assist whenever a client needs. We live closely to multiple public parks, Lake Ontario, Canalside, etc. Our 3 dogs enjoy everywhere we have taken them and we hope that your pets will enjoy these places too. We do offer pet sitting at your home, we would request that we have a way to enter the home and if any products are specific to YOUR PET that they are provided for our use. (Example prescription food, medications, enrichment toys) The house sitting details will be thoroughly worked through with the homeowner beforehand.

About: I grew up in a family with plenty of dogs, cats, and other critters and spent lots of time in 4-H clubs and at horse stables before I started fostering dogs at 15. Over about 3 years, I was the primary caregiver to 14 foster dogs ranging from 10-pound Chihuahuas to 90-pound American Bulldogs and from puppies to seniors. Having had difficult pasts before making it into a rescue, most of those dogs had some behavioral or medical issues (and often a combination of the two), so I built plenty of patience around training and even more familiarity with medical regimens. After graduating high school, I continued pet-sitting the cats and dogs of friends, neighbors, and family whenever I had a chance. Now that I’ve got a typical full-time job, I love using my weekends and evenings looking after other's pets! I work Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm, so I'm typically only available evenings and nights during the week, but am also willing to make early mornings work under particular circumstances. If you're within the city of Rochester, I may be able to make brief mid-day stops even on days I'm working. Happy to discuss details and find flexible solutions for everyone involved! In a client’s home for housesitting or drop-ins, I like to make sure pets are engaged and having fun so they have a full day even when their people aren’t around. I’m also happy to incorporate any training regimens a client is trying to establish. During over-night stays, I’m used to waking up for frequent potty breaks or for medical needs. I also stay very conscious of what will make the pets most comfortable and establish trust with them – whether that means giving them space or letting them stick with me 24/7 – so missing their family is as minimally stressful as possible. For walking services, I’m happy to adjust our pace and distance to make sure pets have all their excess energy out by the time they get home. I'm a runner so that includes runs for high-energy dogs. If a senior pet just likes to get outside during the day without the focus on exercise, I keep a very close eye on their energy level to make sure we take appropriate breaks or wrap up the walk before they push their limits. At the end of the day/visit, I like to give clients a recap of what their pets were up to, including the big and small things, just to make sure everyone’s in the loop and knows what’s going on in their pet’s life.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I adopted my first dog as an adult about 6 years ago, and have since raised three dogs and multiple cats. I am comfortable with large dogs (I own a 90 lbs black lab) as well as administering medications and management of high need dogs. I work from home, so while I am caring for your pets I have the flexibility to take them out whenever they need and make sure they are enriched and cared for. I have a fairly flexible work from home job, so while pet sitting I will be with your pets for the majority of the time. My own dogs are all high needs. I am experienced with reactive and anxious dogs, and have worked through significant behavioral concerns within my own pack. Let me know what your pets need to feel safe and comfortable!

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (for humans)! I have cared for neighbors, friends, friends-of-friends’ pets and am very trustworthy and caring. For most days, I’ll be home all day. I am pet-sitting and occasional babysitting at the moment so I will be there for your pet! I feed, walk, play, cuddle and give lots of love to all the fur babies and will do whatever else is requested (light housekeeping, vet appointments, etc.)

About: I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I can take care of cats or dogs and will love them like they are my own! Animals are my passion in life and I love to spend my free time taking care of them. I work Monday-Thursday but am available after 5:00PM on those days and any time Fridays and Saturdays. I currently have two cats of my own who I love to spend my time with as well. I am experienced in safely harnessing, walking and crating dogs. I also have owned animals my whole life and am aware of their boundaries and the fact that all animals are different.

About: **More then happy to negotiate prices** I have taken care of dogs, cats, and some barn animals since 2016 (or before that!). I have worked in the veterinary field since 2021; receptionist, boarding team, assistant, and manager. I am certified to do therapy exercises with dogs and similar pets. I have experience with medically complex/special needs pets. One of my current dogs are dog-selective and I have had fear-free training, which makes me comfortable with animals who need behavioral accommodations. I am comfortable medicating pets (oral, topical, and injectable). I do work full time, but when ever I am not at work and I am able to take care of more animals I will! As long as our schedules match I can care for your pet. I do not have the ability to care for pets in my house. But in your home I can follow any rules/schedules to make sure your pet is comfortable, medically taken care of, and happy! I am comfortable using the following tools: crates, harness, gentle leaders, prong collars, training collars, and different procedures required for medication administration.

About: i got my first dog when i was 5 years old and since then i have taken care of every dog in my family. I have grown up with dogs cats reptiles and everything in between. I even helped my grandmas dog birth 11 healthy pups and raised them for 3 months!! I am currently going to school during the week, before and after school i have more than enough time to play, feed, bathe, cuddle, and love up on any of your animals!! I am very thorough with following an animals routine. Even if that means i have to wake up at 5 in the morning to let them out and bring them on a walk, that is what i’ll do! So anything you need me to do for your fur babies i will do to my best ability!!
