My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.

About: Our pets are family, and it can be scary sometimes when you don't know who is caring for them while you're gone. Under my care, I treat every fur baby like they were my fur baby. I grew up living with dogs, a Bichon Frise and a Pit Bull, which taught me how to communicate and care for dogs of all sizes and dogs breeds with separation anxiety. I'm pretty active and am currently training for the NYC 2022 Marathon, so I love to run/walk with my dog Casper. About a year ago, Casper and I moved in with my partner Victor and his 2 cats, Jewel & Scarlett, in Rushville, New York. Initially, we were nervous about introducing them so we started slow by keeping them in separate rooms with a gate. Once they became more comfortable and curious about each other (more on the cats end), we took the gate down after a couple days. It was a seamless living transition if there ever was one. Now all 3 love hanging out on the play mat together with their toys or taking naps nearby each other. We're looking for more furry friends to keep them company and to nap together! Our house is quite spacious with a large open living and family room for lots of play time and nap time. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for dogs and cats. Our house has a huge front & backyard (not fenced) to run around on leash. When it snows, we love making dog trails around our property because what dog doesn't love to run in the snow! And I'm very experienced in putting on dog boots if needed. Lastly, we are a 15-20 minute walk to Canandaigua Lake, and live 3 minutes from Bare Hill. Currently, Victor and I are started a small business that will be launching this Spring. We work from home Monday-Friday and make our own hours so we are flexible. And I'm available on the weekends and any last minute bookings. Before any booking, I would like to set up a Meet & Greet to learn what I need to best care for your fur baby(ies) and to make sure Casper and your dog(s) get along (Doggy Day Care). Your Home: I will request a Meet & Greet before booking, and would like to do an initial house visit to learn where the pet food, toys and cleaning supplies are located. Along with learning if your pet has any special needs like medication. I will be a respectful guest in your home and make sure your fur baby(ies) are loved and cared for while you are away.

About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. About: During my youth I was surrounded by all sorts of animals. My dad took in cats and my mom fostered dogs. Living in the country, a few of my friends had farms with an assortment of animals. My junior and senior year of high school I moved to Tennessee and enrolled in 4-H. My family started a little farm of our own. Which included goats and chickens. I had planned to go to veterinary school. I ended up having to move back to New York. There were a few animals that stuck out to me while growing up. First my all black main coon. She was my first animal. A Rottweiler named Brutus, he ate every left shoe. My first ever coon hound mix. His name was Eli. During my middle school times I received two mastiff pit bull puppies for Christmas. I raised both of them. Once they were trained, one of them was given to my great grandfather as a companion. The other stayed with me until my father’s dog passed and he eventually took my dog. They are ever happy together. After high school I spent most of my time working. Making ends meet. From waitressing to working at a hospital as a patient care technician. May of 2025 I moved to Georgia and was expecting a little boy in August. My mother does rover and she had gifted me the information to maybe help my situation. I had a few under the table clients down in Georgia and I found that I throughly enjoyed spending time with animals. I remember why I wanted to go to veterinary school. Come August of 2025 I had my son. Fast forward to now(2026) I’m back in NY and would love to find some new fury friends. I can be very flexible. I do have a baby that would most likely come with me. He is good around animals. We have a German shepherd Akita at home and I would never allow anything to happen. Setting boundaries and keep the separation is always a priority. If that’s not a problem, I can come by any time of the day. I have reliable and consistent transportation. Regardless if I’m just stopping in or staying, I always respect and try to leave your home in a better condition that I found it. Making sure there’s a safe environment. Your fur baby is happy and loved.
About: I have pet sit for friends and neighbors for a long time now, including dogs and cats. I grew up with almost any type of animal you can imagine, from little reptiles, to horses, with many in between. I currently have a dog, 2 cats, a few fish, and many chickens. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to pets. About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. I played with them, took them hiking, the beach, cuddled on the couch and learned about what they liked and don’t like and what makes them happy. I made sure that their owners were happy as well. When I was asked to come and dog sit again, the dogs would be waiting at the window waiting for my arrival. These dogs were sure happy to see me when I came back to dog sit them! I have plenty of time to play with your pups 🐶I would be available for boarding on the weekends and week days after 4pm. I would be happy to give lots of love and attention/play to your fur babies! I have a fenced yard and have two fur babies who love to socialize. I also love to spoil your dogs too! I work from home twice a week and can pet sit on the weekends as well! As for dog sitting in the client’s home I would treat your place with respect, love and care. Anything you need I will make sure that your pets receive it. I will also communicate and send pictures!
About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (for humans)! I have cared for neighbors, friends, friends-of-friends’ pets and am very trustworthy and caring. For most days, I’ll be home all day. If you're looking for a drop in visit, I will take your pet to the bathroom, play with them, feed them and administer medications if needed. About: I’ve taken care of many dogs and a few cats over the years. I am available to stay over night if needed, I have taken care of senior dogs that need health support, i have also taken care of puppies as young as 5 months old. I also have experience giving oral medicine to dogs. My availability is Monday mornings to late Thursday nights. I can stay all day or all night if needed for the pet. I unfortunately can’t do weekends. I am able to take care of cats and dogs, old or young, and give oral medicine if needed. I will need written instructions on what time the dog/cat needs to be fed, walked, times for giving medicine if needed, and if there are any diet restrictions.

We have a very open schedule and can almost always assist whenever a client needs. We live closely to multiple public parks, Lake Ontario, Canalside, etc. Our 3 dogs enjoy everywhere we have taken them and we hope that your pets will enjoy these places too. We do offer pet sitting at your home, we would request that we have a way to enter the home and if any products are specific to YOUR PET that they are provided for our use. (Example prescription food, medications, enrichment toys) The house sitting details will be thoroughly worked through with the homeowner beforehand.

About: I work at an animal shelter and have been handling animals from mice to Great Danes for the past 3 years. I have an in depth understanding of both cat and dog body language, and regularly work with animals that have handling sensitivity, resource guarding, behavioral troubles and health concerns. I help out in our in-shelter Vet Clinic, distributing both pill & liquid oral medications, vaccines/SubQ fluids, and administering topical treatments for skin, eye, and ear ailments. I am Fear-Free certified, which is a training that focuses on positive reinforcement to help eliminate fear and stress in pets. The daily updates with pictures and narrated videos were great. We could see how much fun our babies were having and were informed right away of any issues or questions that came up. We loved that they got long daily walks, lots of play time outside, and cozy time on the couch. Our dogs have different personalities but Alex and Bethany provided individualized care to each of them, making sure our more timid dog was as comfortable as possible.
