About: I’ve been a dog walker and started a neighborhood business at the age of 10 and I have worked in animal animal hospital for 3 years and an animal shelter as well as a doggie day care :) I have my own family dog that I take care of and I have the availability to be available whenever. I also like to make sure I am scheduling everything that I need to do prior. While caring for my dog at home, I make sure to know when he needs to go to the bathroom. I make sure he’s fed. If I am in someone else’s home I make sure I allow the pets to feel safe and reward good behavior. I make sure he gets his medicine and we play, sleep, and cuddle.

I currently have a sweet 6-year-old golden cocker spaniel and a fluffy 2-year-old rescue cat I’ve cared for since he was just 4 weeks old. Animals are truly my passion — I treat them like family. Over the years, I’ve cared for many animals belonging to my own friends and family, from playful puppies to mellow senior pets. About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( At this time, I am working another part-time job as a behavior technician Monday through Friday, with the time usually being from 4:30 to 7:00pm. Occasionally, however, I am asked to come in at either 9:00am or 10:00am until about 12:00pm or 1:00pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or visit! I will update my schedule as soon as anything changes. If you have any questions regarding my schedule for a particular day or week, please don’t hesitate to message me! IMPORTANT: As per Rover’s Terms of Service, please note that I cannot share private contact details or accept methods of payment outside of Rover. About: No fur baby too big or too small! I love to care for them ALL. I've been a dog owner since a child. They are considered family in our home! I have years of experience helping neighbors, family and friends with their animals while out of town. They will be welcomed with love and made sure their needs are met during visit. I'm happy to send photos during my visits :) I currently work full time during the week and off on weekends. I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups on weekend drop ins or walks. If needed, I'm available after 7pm during weekdays for drop ins or walks. At this time, I do not offer boarding at my own home. I'm happy to provide communication updates during visits (I enjoy them with my pets too) and Meet & Greets are welcome. Please advise of any detailed information on your pet. Example: they don't like belly rubs, no baby talk (causes tinkle), or if you leave a preferred dog treat for them to encourage potty. This way I can ensure we have a successful visit customized for your pet. As my two big fur babies have their own do's and don'ts. ;)

About: I have had pet dogs and cats my whole life, and they have always been a cherished part of my family. I currently live in a non-pet-friendly apartment building, so Rover gives me the opportunity to care for pets while I can’t have one of my own. I work at a warehouse on second shift, so I am gone in the evenings and head back home around 1am. When housesitting, I’m able to provide care to your pets during the day until I leave for work at 6. I will do my best to adhere to your normal routine with your pets, and ensure that they are exercised, fed, and pottied before I leave for work. It is my goal to adhere to your pets’ normal routine as much as possible. When I am watching someone’s pets for the first time, I request details about their schedule, eating and play habits, special quirks, etc so that I am prepared to give them consistent and attentive care.

I truly know the time it takes, walking/ exercising, food schedule, & love to give to both! Just started my full time career, but I have a flexible schedule most days! I’m open to early morning or evening in week days and all day weekends. I love love love animals, so I definitely want to incorporate pet sitting into my lifestyle; especially if it means I can help others during their travels & such. I know the value in crate training, potty/ food schedules if need be, being in a comfortable space for the dog, if you’d like for training- I can try the basics since I trained my pup.

About: My name is Traci and I spent 22 years serving my country. I am now retired and spend all my time with my fur kids. I have been a volunteer with a local Lab Rescue in Denver, where I did adoptions, transports and I fostered dogs of all ages in my own home. I also have a small zoo of my own...(dogs, cats, fish) My family calls me the dog whisperer. I have always had a connection with animals and would love to continue giving back. I will come to your home and take care of your kids and house as if you were there. As a foster, I was responsible for training the dogs that were in my care before they go to their forever home. Recently, I have been training my own Lab as a Service Dog, that will be used for veterans that experience anxiety/panic attacks and even PTSD. Why I love dog sitting: I have been a dog lover my entire life. My parents got me a dog when I was 6 months old and his name was Pepper. I have always had dogs with me. I started volunteering with a local lab rescue because I felt like I could always do more for the animals. Fostering dogs in my own home, training them, showing them love them (some of them have never had that) and then I help get them adopted out to a family who will love them just the same. It was a rewarding hobby. Meet my pets: 3 cats 4 Dogs My experience administering medication: I am very comfortable with medications and administering them. I was a combat medic in the Navy, and I am currently a Wilderness EMT with over 20 years in the medical field. I am trained and certified in K-9 First Aid and CPR. Most recently I worked at a dog rescue in Puerto Penasco, Mexico (Barb's Dog Rescue). Working at a dog rescue, you see the worst cases of abuse and neglect. I was trained how to administer medications, IV's, Sub-Q fluids and give LOTS of love. Your fur kids are in good hands.
