About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since age 10. We’ve always had at least 2 dogs of our own and have fostered consistently as well. I spend my free time volunteering at the Aurora Animal Shelter and feel comfotable working with dogs of all sizes! I also house/dog sit frequently for multiple people in the area I’m currently in college but I only have class three days a week. I live at home so my I am able to be very flexible with my schedule. “This was the first time I left my rescue dog Casey with a sitter, needless to say I was worried. Not worried about Grace, on our meet and greet I liked her right away. I was worried that my 67 lb dog would be too much for her. He can be a little wild at first, get into your personal space. He can be the bull in the china cabinet, and needs someone to be firm with him.(voice commands) My ragdoll Cooper no worries. Grace was kind enough to send me pictures and notes. I was so relieved! “Diane came and watched our little girl Penelope for a day so my husband and I could get out of the house. Penelope was new to Chicago and having a tough time settling in - we wanted Penelope to have someone with her while we were out to ensure she was comfortable. Diane was absolutely phenomenal from the start - an excellent communicator and made us feel comfortable right away. You can tell she is extremely expert when it comes to the care of animals. Penelope can be very shy/anxious and tends to run away/hide when she is stressed. Diane got down on the floor with Penelope and patiently waited for her to come out when she was ready. Diane sent us photos throughout the day along with updates/messages which made me feel so much better and allowed me to relax while we were out. I was amazed at how quickly Penelope warmed to Diane and felt totally confident in Diane taking care of my baby.
