“Crista is so personable and during the meet and greet both cats came to her right away. She has an older cat like we do so I felt she was a great fit. You can tell she genuinely connects with animals (and people!). She also was very flexible in spending more time with the cats and I didn't worry at all about their care, even though I was remiss as to where Crista could locate helpful items like litter scoops. She communicates well, answers questions very timely and I'd really like to think she's our go-to Rover person for the future. Thank you, Crista!!”

About: Hi! I’m a laid-back yet enthusiastic animal lover with a lifetime of experience growing up in a home full of pets. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes — from tiny lap dogs to large breeds like pit bulls and bulldogs — and I truly understand how unique every dog is. I have extensive experience working with aggressive dogs, helping them feel safe and well-behaved through patience and training. I’m also skilled in caring for senior pets, providing gentle attention and medical support to keep them comfortable and happy. I especially love big lap dogs and enjoy taking all dogs on adventure walks tailored to their energy and needs. I’m very mindful of each pet’s limitations, ensuring every walk and play session is safe and enjoyable. I’m extremely flexible and always bring calm, positive energy into every home. Whether your dog needs training support, medication, playtime, or just a relaxed companion, I’ll treat them like family. Let’s make tail wags happen! I start my mornings with potty walks and breakfast, take a mid-day sniff breaks in between, and end the day with playtime and bedtime belly rubs. I understand how important your pet’s comfort and safety are, as well as respecting your home. To ensure both, I strictly follow every client’s specific instructions and routines — from feeding times to play preferences and medication schedules. I keep your space clean and organized, always secure doors, gates, and windows, and treat your home with the same care I would my own. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates with photos or messages to keep you connected and assured. Above all, I prioritize your pet’s well-being by giving them plenty of attention, affection, and exercise, making sure they feel loved and comfortable while you’re away.

About: I don't currently have any pets of my own, but I volunteer at the humane society for southwest Washington and therefore have gone through training regarding dog and cat behavior and handling. I have only cared for neighbor's pets before, and although my experience isn't necessarily extensive, I believe, and have been told, that my care meets and exceeds the standard, so you can rest assured that your pet(s) will be taken care of. I have had a true love for all animals my whole life (ask anyone who knows me!) and will do what it takes to keep your pet safe and happy. I am currently looking for another job, as my current one reduced my hours to one day a week (4 hours every Sunday morning, but I'm still available the rest of the day!), but pet care is important to me as well as your pet and I will work around my job. I can make it fit! I will make sure your pet(s) are safe and happy by being aware of essential safety items (e.g. fire extinguisher, fences/gates inside or outside, potentially dangerous items, etc.) providing enrichment through provided means and individual creativity based on the animal's needs, and just obeying the owner's wishes. I understand that your pet's safety is your top priority.

“Adriana did drop in visits with our two cats for 5 days while we were on a trip. They have never been home for this long without us, and one needs medication, so I was super nervous. Adriana sent daily updates, took care of our girls wonderfully and made me feel at ease about being away. We came back to a clean house and even happier kitties! Thank you again!♥️”

“Sienna was such a huge help. I needed help last minute and was very understanding. She also understood the needs of my high energy dog! Would definitely use again!”

“We were very thankful to have Melyssa watch our cat for us while we were on vacation. We really appreciated the daily photos from her visits, and it was nice to know he was getting snuggles and play time every day. We would definitely recommend Melyssa and will be using her again in the future.”

About: My current pup, Lola, just turned 21! I adopted her when she was 12 years old. I love going on hikes with her as she reminds me to stop and smell the roses. I am considerate of what our senior pets need, patience and gentleness. I have volunteered at shelters where I have walked and cleaned after all the different breeds that wait for their furever home. My work and volunteer experience also include lots of other animals, including snakes, turtles, squirrels, opossums, and birds of prey. I cannot wait to meet your fur babies! I am currently focusing on my other passion, creating art, so I have tons of time to give your pups and kitties all the cuddles and plays! My senior pup and kitty get all the attention they desire. With all the natural predators around, I always make sure to keep an eye on our pets while they are outside. I will always follow your and your pets' comfort level in all I do.

About: I have been around pets since I was a little girl. I am able to take care or senior dogs and puppies. I have experience to deal with any age and or any size dog. And I focus my attention on owners wishes and animal health. I have one dog and I take care of him every day. I would like more fury friends in my life and I want more pet care experience to become a future dog trainer. I care for pets in my home with patience. Every animal is different and will have different needs which is why I speak with owners about temperaments and behavioral activities. I also speak to owners about allergies or fears that could trigger and animal so I can further avoid any issues. I will do the same in other people's homes as well.

Jasmine R.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Jasmine. Both of our dogs can be a bit of a handful, but Lily especially has a lot of anxiety and is typically very slow to trust new people. She usually keeps her distance and avoids strangers, but Jasmine somehow connected with her almost immediately. That alone was enough to win us over. Jasmine was patient, calm, and incredibly kind with both Lily and Bruno. She didn’t rush anything and let Lily come to her on her own terms, which made all the difference. Throughout the stay, she kept us regularly updated with texts and photos, letting us know how they were doing, what they were up to, and how they were feeling. Anytime she had to leave the house, even briefly, she let us know so we never had to wonder. It was clear she took her time with them, playing, cuddling, just being there, and that meant everything to us. When we got home, both dogs were relaxed, happy, and clearly attached to her. We’re so grateful to have found someone who truly understands dogs with anxiety and treats them like family. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Jasmine again. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants real peace of mind while they’re away.”

Laila R.
“I have know Laila R. for many years. She has taken care of my three dogs on multiple occasions. Laila is always kind, patient, and loving to my dogs. I trust her and have given her full access to my house to enter and let my dogs out to potty, spend time with them, and see to any needs they might have. Laila communicates well and if she has any questions will ask. She loves my dogs and I trust her implicitly.”

Alyssa Jayne M.
“To say that Alyssa Jayne loves and knows how to care for animals would be an understatement. Since I met her 6 years ago, she has been my go-to caretaker for my pets. I fully trust her (even more than myself!) to treat my pets with love and respect. I've seen her with three pets of her own: Lola (a three-legged dog of drinking age -- 21 !!), Flix (an equally-as-old cat), and Lavender (a shifty, but sweet cat). Each of these lucky animals have been showered with love, attention, respect, and proper care (as evidenced by their age). She has taken care of my cat, Bowie, on several occasions. Each time, she is constantly sending photos/videos of Bowie being cute/derpy, and I can hear Alyssa Jayne's love in her voice behind camera. If my experience seeing her with domestic animals isn't enough, I should let you know that she has dedicated her career to animal conservation and rehabilitation, whether she's rehabing raptors, taking general care of nearby forests, or informing children about local ecosystems during various camps. Loving animals isn't enough to qualify her as a good caretaker. However, her dedication, knowledge, trustworthiness, and loyalty come in such large quantities that I have no doubt she'll be a tremendous caretaker for you and your organization. Unfortunately, I'm moving to a new state soon, and I'll be unable to use her services. She set the bar high, so hopefully there are some good caretakers in my new town. Regardless, future Rover users will thank you endlessly for adding Alyssa Jayne to your team, so let's make that happen :)”

Leah L.
“I have known Leah for around 9 years and seen her work with dogs, cats and horses. She is patient, loving, and kind to every animal she meets. Has an inherent ability for training the most basic commands, fun tricks and does well in being mindful of the pet or animal she is with, especially when around other animals who may not be as friendly as the one she is caring for.”

Cade E.
