About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, for as long as I can remember. My dogs have always been like another member in my family. I’ve even fostered dogs who just needed a loving home to learn how to trust again before moving on to their forever homes. The comfort and companionship is what I love! I currently work from home so your pup will be provided with round the clock care and attention. I am not tied to my desk so I have the ability to take walks and truly spend time with your pup. I have a fenced yard and my own super friendly black lab. Your pup will get all of the attention and playtime they need at my home.

About: Hello! I’m Devon, a Colorado native based in Denver. While I’ve been a pet owner myself, I’ve also spent over 10 years caring for the pets of friends and family. Whether it's walking, feeding, cleaning up, or simply providing plenty of love and attention, I treat every pet like my own while their humans are away. I recently spent a year living in Spain — exploring new cities, enjoying delicious food, and walking everywhere (easily 10–12k steps a day!). Now that I’m back in Colorado, I’d love to keep up that active routine with your pup by my side. As a personal trainer, staying active is part of my lifestyle — so you can count on your dog getting plenty of movement, enrichment, and play. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or just hanging out together, I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and cared for. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because staying active and caring for animals are both things I truly enjoy. As a personal trainer, my schedule is flexible and centered around movement, so I make time each day for walks, playtime, and attentive care. Whether it’s feeding, cleaning, or just giving pets the love and attention they need, I treat it as a meaningful part of my day — not just a task. I recently returned from living in Spain, where walking 10–12k steps a day was the norm, and I’d love to continue that lifestyle here in Denver with the company of some great pups! To help care for pets in my home and/or a client home I ensure that they first get their basic needs met (food, water) and then I take them for a walk to use the restroom and get out some energy. I like to wake up early, so jump starting the day with a walk is beneficial for me and the dog I am looking after. I continue this throughout the day by taking them for at least 2-3 walks, or time spent at the dog park.

“Micah took wonderful care of Momo. As an avid user of Rover, I can say that she is professional and went above and beyond for me and my dog. My dog suffers from separation anxiety, but she made sure he was comfortable during his Rover stay. She responds and communicates well. I work crazy hours and she was able to accommodate us when we had a last minute cancellation. Throughout my dog’s stay, she gave me updates and plenty of pictures. Her service is top notch!”

“Shanda was a great sitter for my dog Trigger. She was very flexible with my schedule as well. Between her kids and her backyard, my dog definitely got the exercise, love, and care needed. Will definitely use again if in the area.”

“Natalia took great care of my pup. She sent updates and gave me a report of behavior when I picked him up. Jack came home tired and happy. Will certainly use her again.”

About: We've had our dog, Arlo, for four wonderful years since he was rescued in Texas. Both of us grew up with dogs, so we've always had a love for them. Arlo was a "code-red" rescue due to his fear of humans, but it's been incredibly rewarding watching him grow more comfortable and become a loving part of our home. He’s an amazing learner, and we’ve even taught him many tricks along the way! About our home: My fiancé and I both work from home, so we’re around almost all the time while your dog stays with us. We have a medium-sized fenced backyard where your dog can explore and play. We also have plenty of room inside to separate the dogs if they need their own space. Autumn has experience working with HABIT, a program with school social work dogs, and she absolutely loved it. Before your dog’s stay, feel free to share any details about their daily routine, special behaviors, digging habits, or food restrictions so we can make sure they’re comfortable. As a heads-up, since neither of us are professional dog carers, we’re unable to accept dogs that are aggressive, overly reactive, or need intensive medical care. My fiancé and I both work from home full time so there will almost always be someone home. On the weekends we may run some errands occasionally but aren’t ever gone for more than a couple hours because of Arlo. We have a medium size fenced in backyard that your dog is welcome to roam while they are here. Arlo is a fairly energetic playmate and will happily chase around the backyard with any dog willing to play along. Inside we have plenty of space for separation/decompression if needed for any reason. Communication is something that we value. We are very responsive and will send updates with photos of your pup during its stay.

“I have Wendy watch Rockie pretty regularly now and as soon as he sees her in the morning his tail starts wagging. She is great at keeping communication up to date so you always know how your fur baby is doing. I would highly recommend Wendy & will continue to use her myself. :)”

About: My whole life, I've had a deep love for animals, big and small. Growing up I've had Chihuahuas, pit bulls, cats, guinea pigs and even rats! I know how to work with all different types of animals and ensure that they are loved and cared for. If your furry pal has any specific requirements just let me know and I'll provide a kind and familiar experience that makes them feel at home. I am currently employed but I just started so my weeks are still looking pretty empty. As of now I'm working 2-3 days out of the week and only for a few hours:) I live with my boyfriend who doesn't get home until about 6pm monday-friday, and my cat! I'm typically available on weekends as well unless stated otherwise. I have a friendly, shy short haired cat named ciggy who shouldn't pester your barking or purring friend during their stay. My home has hardwood flooring so any accidents that may happen are absolutely no problem. I have a cozy balcony, and a trail about 10 feet away for walking available at any time!

Heather Gardens dog parents share their Rover experiences
Heather and James have been so great about communicating with me during the whole process of scheduling meet-ups to make sure everyone felt comfortable, to explaining details of how they maintain safety for the dogs in their care, to welcoming Loretta at drop-off, to sending me updates & photos throughout the day while she is there. I will forever be a loyal Rover user as long as sitters like Sarah continue to go above and beyond! When our previous amazing Rover sitter moved 1300 miles away back home, I was nervous about finding someone new for my five-month-old puppy Oso and soon-to-be two-year-old dog Lobo. But within hours of reaching out to several sitters through Rover who were geographically selected, Sarah responded, and we set up a meet and greet the same day. I had five responses within the first few hours of my posting. Thankfully, I only had to do the 1 meet and greet and I i’m very happy with my choice. We’re now three weeks in, and I couldn’t be happier. Sarah took on my energetic puppy and my older dog, who is still adjusting after the loss of our senior dog, earlier this year. I’m amazed at how well they’ve adapted to Sarah’s care, thanks to her calm, nurturing energy. When they come home happy and exhausted, I know they’ve had a blast and were well taken care of. Sarah handles the different energy levels and personalities of my two dogs with ease. They get the perfect mix of play, socialization, and rest, which is everything a fur mom like me could ask for. Her little helper, Aida, is the sweetest addition, especially for dog moms like me who love seeing their dogs interact with children. My youngest pup and Aida have become best friends! Sarah’s communication is also top-notch. She sends regular updates with pictures and videos, which truly makes my day. As an obsessed fur mom who wants the best for my babies, I feel at ease knowing they’re in a safe, happy environment where they’re socialized with dogs of all sizes and personalities. If you’re looking for a sitter who will love your fur babies as much as you do, Sarah is the one!
