About: I’m comfortable will pets of all sizes and breeds. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life (including horses and goats) and enjoy working with them. I work from home and attend classes virtually, so I can provide care at any time and ensure your loved one gets potty breaks, walks, and fed according to their needs and established routines. I am happy to provide other home care including watering plants, bringing in mail, setting out trash, and feeding and caring for livestock or hobby herds.

He had told many stories of all of the gratifying and patient work he had done with troubled dogs to help prepare them for finding their permanent home. With this awareness, I was totally comfortable with Kenny sitting our dog Duncan. Duncan is a playful, big Rhodesian Ridgeback who is super attached to us. We left Duncan with Kenny for two weeks when we went on a trip to Europe and we returned to a happy Dog who had made himself at home with Kenny and his family. I wasn't worried about Duncan for a minute and the care he received exceeded my expectations. You can't go wrong with Kenny.”

She played with them outside, took them on a long walk, and sent photos of them looking pretty happy. “Alta is the best. Dog sitter, Human, Friend. Alta has watched our dog, Plato, a handful of times. We loved having her around because he always felt safe (read: barely looks back at us when we drop him off), and he returns to us happy and loved (read: Plato is looking back at Alta wondering if he actually has to leave). I have watched Alta care for dogs young and old, and I gained a huge amount of trust and respect for her when she adopted an elderly cattle dog to care for him in his final years. We miss you, Sam. Boy, was Sam loved. There is no one I would trust to watch or walk our dog more than Alta. Period.”

“Layna stepped up and long-term watched my dog on short notice after my previous sitter moved out of state. My dog is a young, high-energy husky mix who came from the shelter. I was nervous leaving him for so long because I knew he could be a bit difficult, but Layna was so wonderful with him. She took great care of him, gave him lots of love, lots of walks and hikes, and lots of play time. She kept me updated on everything with photos and videos and was very communicative throughout. Now my dog is so excited every time he gets to see her. Layna also has a grounded, calm energy that I think is great for rambunctious, high-energy dogs and would also be great for timid or anxious dogs. Knowing my dog was safe and comfortable under Layna's care made it so much easier for me to be away.”
