“Darcia went above and beyond my expectations. My dog has separation anxiety so she stayed with him 24-7 he felt comfortable with her right away. Darcia sent pictures and updated me every day. She took my very energetic husky on long walks each day and was very precise about following my instructions. I couldn’t be happier to have found her!”

“Angela and Adam were great with our dog, Rosie! Sent lots of pictures and updates. You could tell by the pictures Rosie really liked them. Will definitely be using them again.”

About: I have been dog sitting friends and family animals since college. I am devoted to animals and their wellbeing! Whether big or small I love all of them. I have experience dog sitting, cat sitting. I have three birds, a cockatiel, and two parakeets. I have had dogs of my own growing up, small, medium, and large sized. I have also grown up riding horses and caring for them as well. I love any animal, no matter the kind. I work full time Mondays to Fridays 8:30am-4pm I am willing to take care of your animals when I get out of work. I have an open availability for weekend days. I would go to your home and care for your animal/animals! I would provide them with food, water, bathroom breaks, and if they require any special medication.

“Duncan is absolutely wonderful. my dogs warmed to his gentle and calm demeanor instantly. he frequently sent photos and video updates which provided me with peace of mind while away from my pups. would recommend him to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“Having Cassy watch our dog in our home was an absolute dream. She was communicative, organized, tidy, and took SUCH good care of our dog. I couldn’t believe how thorough and well planned her stay was. She communicated her plans and schedule well before and during the stay. She sent lots of pictures and videos, and took care of her our home like she would take care of her own. We came back to a clean home and a happy, well loved dog. I hope to have Cassy back again and again.”

About: I have been taking care of my own dog since I was 12 years old. I have recently started dog sitting for others in the last 2-3 years. I have the most experience with medium to large sized dogs and have no issues with the small dogs as well! I love to take the dogs I watch for walks/hikes around the area (if they are able to). I have experience with up to two dogs at a time as well as senior-aged dogs. I work in the public schools during the school year, but during the summer I am free much more often to take care of all your pet needs. I am available most weekdays and weekends for house sitting, dog walking or just stopped-in services for potty breaks. I have been actively dog sitting for 3-4 years now. I take the utmost care of your pets as well as your home! I will make sure to leave your home in the same state or better than it was when I entered your home. I know how important pets and animals can be and I can 100% be trusted with your animals and your home!

“My very young, but large and high-energy dog did exceedingly well with Connor. Having come into my life last October, I had not once left Chance in the care of anyone else. I was, of course, a bit nervous about how he would fare. He was rescued from a terrible situation and suffers from anxiety. I’ve worked hard to help Chance adjust, and I have made good progress. I had no reason to fear! Connor knew instinctively how to connect with Chance, and it is clear that I had the right person for this dog! I highly recommend Connor and thank him for taking a chance on Chance!”

“Alyssa was amazing with my pets. She went above and beyond what was asked. Mini (lab mix) is not a dog that warms up quickly to others and Alyssa didn’t give up on her. I do believe they are finally friends. I will be a repeat client and won’t hesitate to use Alyssa again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for years; starting from when I was very young to the present, caring for my own and other's pets. My experience ranges from caring for puppies to senior dogs: I stay with them and ensure they are fed, walked, and loved. I am retired, so pets fit into my schedule easily. I do some part-time work but normally just for three-four hours on weekdays, so I can commit to long term pet care and house-sitting, as I no longer have pets of my own (so look forward to caring for yours)! I can only care for pets at the clients' homes at this time. I am very respectful of your home and your animal(s)' care, like following a restricted diet; I do, as I would want a pet-sitter to do for my pets.

“Leesha is one of the best sitters we've found on Rover! She's responsive, communicative, and goes above and beyond to make sure our pets are cared for! Leesha has housesat for shorter periods of time for us, but recently watched our two dogs and cat (and chickens!) for a week. She battled some loose poops, a food change, and the addition of extra meds all in a few days, but she didn't bat an eye! She even cleaned Leah's litter box without me asking! It's easy to see how much she cares about animals and we would trust her with our crew in a heartbeat!!”

“Emily is a fantastic pet sitter! She shows a genuine love for animals with her gentle spirit. Emily communicated with me throughout my trip so I knew the pets were doing well and we dealt with minor issues that came up. I was very concerned to use a pet sitter, but had no choice for this trip and Emily put me at ease. She really loved and cared for my pets. I highly recommend Emily!”

“Sam is great! She’s very communicative, easy going, and has nice energy. Our naturally-anxious dog warmed up to her quickly and was in very good care with Sam. She also agreed to stay an extra day for us with no questions asked - that flexibility was much appreciated. Will definitely book again. 😊”

“Cassidy took great care of our senior pup, including catching and responding to a critical health issue in the middle of the night. She provided regular text, photo, and video updates. Highly recommend!”

About: Large Animal Science graduate, have completed the vet tech and grooming courses at BCAHS, have experience with diverse/exotic animal caretaking rolls, canine cpr certified, lots of experience with difficult dog breeds. I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm but care for animals in the early morning and after my shifts end. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours after work. It is extremely important that my dog gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that my animals or any animals in general feel comfortable in their current environment. Giving animals the opportunity to take bathroom breaks outside or making the bathroom option available to pets who cannot go outside is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water and specific foods as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.

About: i’ve had pets ever since I was 5 i’ve loved dogs for as long as i can remember. And animals never seem to have a problem, they get along with me just fine. I currently own a guinea pig and he’s my best little friend. I’m definitely getting a dog in the future. I’m lways available for some lovey time with your pet 🫶🏽 I am currently in college. but I am available around my classes because they are online classes that I can take in my own time. Wednesday and Thursday I have scheduled classes in the late afternoon but we could work around that since the classes are online. I will care for your pet just as I care for mine and, will do anything that’s asked. Your pet is in great hands. There is also a dog park right next to my house, if you prefer to drop your dog we can go on a stroll to the park.
