“Cleo was such a big help for me on a vacation trip that went all sorts of wonky. She was able to step in last minute when our family friend dropped out of house/cat sitting for us while we were away. Then our travels got wrapped up in the mass Southwest Airlines cancellations and Cleo was able to work with us on that as well! (we ended up leaving 2 days later than expected and coming back a day later than anticipated). Cleo is quick to respond to messages and the pictures and updates she sent of our cats kept me at ease that they were being cared for. Also the pictures in general were just super funny sometimes and I really loved that. About: I’ve taken care of dogs from small to large breed for the past 20 years. Cats, reptiles and rodents too! There’s always an animal in my home and I have been with Rover and Wag! for about 5 years give or take. Animals like to gravitate towards me and that’s why I like to work with them. I also love them and I know how hard is it to find a good sitter. Public boarding facilities are terrible for animals because they don’t get the care that they deserve. You don’t have to worry about that when you have your fur baby stay with me they will get top priority! ☺️ You can expect a daily walk or two one in the morning and one in the evening. Access to my yard. Pets and cuddles if they want. Also know how to leave an animal alone to do their own thing. I have my dog Atlas he is very friendly and he is a pampered pooch. I helped to extend some of that to your animal. If I’m boarding, then I’m going to be doing it on days that I’m off of work so that I can focus entirely on your fur baby. Complete with pictures and updates! I am very respectful of the spaces that I embody. If I’m visiting your home, I will leave everything how it is I will clean up anything that needs to be cleaned. I will walk your dog for you and provide you relief, provide socialization, medication if needed, pets and love - when you’re busy.

About: Hi! My name is Cassandra, I have always had pets at home. From cats and dogs, to lizards and fish. I love being around animals and seeing them experience joy and contentment. My pets are like my practice children and I put so much care into their well being. I hope to be able to do the same for your pets as well. I don't have a fulltime job so I am extremely flexible with your schedule. I can do pretty much anything, walks for the dogs (or any other type of pet) playing with the cats, feeding, overnight, and if you need something else please reach out! This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
