“Brittney was wonderful with my dogs. She was great at communicating promptly and she made sure to always consider them. I really appreciated the service she provided and would definitely recommend her to others!”

“Stephanie was great eith my babies. Always there on time. Sent me feedback and pics. I'll definitely want her again. Thanks so much Stephanie for taking care of them. This was my first time using anyone. Stephanie put me at ease.”

“I needed someone last minute to walk my German Shepard and Lindsay was the first to respond. She sent me pics of the walk and also let me know what business he did so I was prepared when I got home from work. I've had other instances where I've had to book last minute, but Lindsay is my girl for pur household whenever we need services, hands down! Thanks, Lindsay, for all that you did for our baby! ❤️”

“Daysi is amazing! We hired her to walk/check up on our two big dogs in the morning and afternoon while we were out of town one day. She sent lots of pictures showing everything they did on each visit and was able to walk them both together and make sure they had time to eat since we were gone all day. We will definitely be hiring her again for future short trips!”

About: What sets me apart is my personalized and attentive approach to pet care. With over 8 years of experience, I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs, routines, and personality to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s energetic walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to giving pet parents peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care is an essential part of my weekly routine, and I structure my schedule to provide consistent and attentive care. My mornings typically include check-ins or walks for pets, ensuring they start their day with exercise and attention. I also plan my mid-day breaks or work intervals to accommodate feeding, potty breaks, or playtime as needed. On days when my schedule includes specific commitments, like work or classes, I always make time before and after to ensure pets are cared for without any interruptions to their routine. My approach is adaptable, allowing me to meet the needs of pets and their owners, whether they require short visits, extended care. I strive to maintain a pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to ensure their comfort and minimize stress. This includes following feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions, such as administering medications or specific training. I also prioritize keeping their environment clean and safe, making sure food and water bowls are sanitized and their living area is tidy. While in my client’s home, I respect their space by leaving it as clean and organized as when I arrived, ensuring a worry-free environment. When pets stay in my home, I create a safe, welcoming, and pet-friendly environment. I designate areas where they can relax, play, and feel at ease. I adhere to their usual feeding and exercise schedules and provide plenty of attention and enrichment activities. For dogs, this includes walks, outdoor play, and cuddles; for cats or smaller animals, I ensure they have quiet spaces and interactive play. I also take precautions to ensure a safe environment by securing harmful items and monitoring interactions if I have other pets.

“Tristina was able to come walk my dog with very short notice. She was kind, loving, and my dog SERIOUSLY loved her. He loves everyone, but he had an instant connection with her. She was comfortable with walking him, even tho he was really excited. She listened carefully to my instructions and made sure to follow the training we are doing with him since he's still a puppy and we're still training him. She took him on a 1.2 mile walk. She showed up on time and returned him on time. I will be hiring her again for sure! Thanks!”
About: Current dog mom of 2 and love to care for all animals! I’ve always grown up with a dog in the home and I began my petsitting journey at age 13 when I began petsitting for my neighbors. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, and fish. I’ve cared for dogs with extra needs (blind, anxiety, behavioral issues, etc.) and am comfortable administering medicine. I’ve watched up to 6 dogs in one household and am comfortable if more are involved! I volunteered at my local animal shelter throughout college working to socialize cats and dogs to help find their forever home! I have a large fenced in yard and live close to walking trails. My dogs are very friendly and love to be social with other, well-behaved dogs! I currently work from home 3 days a week and can offer drop-in visits before 8am or after 5pm. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
