He was excited to meet her even on our meet and greet before we started care and was immediately comfortable with her and her other dogs who are sweethearts as well. He’s been over there for a couple of weeks, but in that time, I’ve dropped him off and picked him up with the biggest smile on his face. She’s helped a lot with training as well since he’s my first dog I’ve had and he’s doing really well with that both at her home and at mine as I learn proper commands too. I am also RECOVER certified in dog/cat CPR BLS/ALS and well versed in handling animal emergencies and events. I am also comfortable with chicken (just chickens at this point in my career), rabbit, and guinea pig care including SQ, IM, and oral medication administration. I love animals and i'm elated to have the opportunity to take care of your babies! I'm currently a part-time worker at a general family vet practice and pick up shifts occasionally at an emergency veterinary hospital. My schedule is a little flexible due to this fact and my availability will reflect this! I do own two (2) cats of my own and will ask if your pet is comfortable with being left for maximum 2 hours at a time, no more than once a day so I can check up on them. This is for house sitting only. When visiting your home I'll be conscious of how your pet receives me. For bright, young puppies and kittens, I'll keep them entertained and stimulated for the length of my visit, making sure there is no signs of trouble or illness. About: I’ve taken care of animals of all sizes from baby kittens to Great Danes! I love inviting animals into my life like my own, and many owners have seen that throughout the years! I’d love to take care of your fur babies (or furless)! I’m looking forward to handing out some extra help to the pet owners in this community. I always make time to lend a helping hand anywhere I go! I’ve been fitting pet care into my routine throughout the last 7 years and I don’t plan on stopping! I’m currently not able to board, but I love sitting! I’ve been trusted for many years in my home town to care for pets. Not only immensely by owners, but respecting pet’s boundaries as some can be a little more protective of their homes! I always watch/play with pets in backyards and remain alert even if transports to dog parks are approved to get your pets out and about!
About: I couldn't imagine my life without animals. My mom bred labs when I was a kid and I have always lived in a house with dogs. I worked in a vet for a while I was in high school where I walked, fed, cleaned up after, and provided medications to dogs visiting or boarding. I have also been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends for years. I’m always available by phone. I am also more than willing to send pictures or texts to pet parents that would like them. I currently work full time Monday through Friday in a remote capacity and on site as needed, but I’m lucky enough to have a lot of flexibility. I have always treated pets as part of the family and think that all animals should be treated with compassion. I also believe that positive reinforcement is the most effective training method and that you can always teach an old dog new tricks.

Jessica took the time needed to wake her up gently, give her a good walk, feed her, and settle her back down for her nap. I could see that my dog went on her "preferred" walks both times. They took wonderful care of both my timid older dog and crazy puppy boarding for over a week, and sent lots of pictures and updates to calm my nerves about leaving the little guy for the first time. The dogs appeared at home and comfortable from the first day. About: Hello! I've pet sat for multiple years now and would love to help you out! From new born puppies to elderly dogs I've done it all. Dogs, cats, chickens, and even bearded dragons, I gotchu! I'm a student at UNC Chapel Hill and can handle any needs and wants to need from me! Hope to sit for you very soon! I am available in the morning before class that begins around 10am and all the time afterwards around 1:30pm. On weekends I am available all day! I am fully able to complete anything the owner needs from me! Walks, medication, play time, staying over some nights, I'm your girl! I can usually stay for some hours each time I need to drop by and of course spend nights if needed!
