“10/10 every time. Carol and her family take the absolute best care of Max we could ever ask for. Their home has become our dog's vacation home while we are away! Thank you so much for all you do and for making us feel comfortable and worry-free while he's with you.”
“Fiona is awesome and very accommodating. As an overprotective pet parent, she felt very trustworthy early on. Fiona kept us informed and sent lots of pics. About: I have years of experience with cats and dogs of all ages. I have so much love for all animals and I’m very patient in taking care and getting to know them. I’ve had many dog clients and each dog has their own personality. Each client I have, I take the time to make sure that the pet is comfortable and happy. On the days I have your pet, I will have plenty of time to take care of them for their scheduled time. I love animals and have pets myself so pet care falls naturally into my daily actives. From making time to walk, feed, and exercise with them. My top priority is to provide a safe environment for the pets that will be in my home or a clients home. Its very important for me to make sure I provide good communication with the owner. Before taking care of your pet, I like to discuss specific requirements my clients might need for their pet, such as feeding schedules. exercise routines, and any special needs. I give frequent updates and provide many pictures and if there’s anything of concern that I see while your pet is in my care I make sure to notify the owner immediately.
“I have great experience with Pam for the first time, she is amazing! She was fantastic about communications and always takes the time to send you an update and photos on how your cat is doing. She made me feel less anxious about leaving my cat with someone new while i was away. I would definitely use her again.”

“Cathy's house is our Charlie's home away from home. He actually pulls on his leash to get inside her house and doesn't look back when we leave. Kind of sad...but really reassuring!”

“Christina was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond while watching Kyrie! She sent tons of pictures, kept us updated throughout the day, and made us feel completely at ease the whole time. We trusted her right away, and she really came through for us when our flights were delayed and we needed a last-minute extension. Communication was clear, quick, and super helpful. We’d ask her again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Christina!”

“Another excellent stay with Maisha. Bentley always has a great experience and enjoys playing and making new friends. She provides excellent care and keeps me consistently updated with photos, which I truly appreciate. I also value the way she treats Bentley with the same care and attention as her own. Thank you again!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
