About: Hello all pet parents! I am new to Rover. I've recently relocated to Luling, TX. I am looking for small gigs like taking care of furry friends because pets are my life, as I'm sure they are yours too! Most of my professional and personal experiences with pets have been with dogs and cats, to include feedings, scheduled walks and playtimes, administering medications, bathing, nail trims, and just plain ol' cuddling. I am big on SAFETY as it is the most important thing when your pet is away from you or in someone else's care. I understand different breeds may need different types of attention, especially when factoring in age and certain health conditions. Please allow me a chance to meet your pup (or cat) and help you out occasionally! Cheers! (Smaller critters welcome, we all need a little checking on!) I’m currently a stay at home pet mom while I attend online classes to become an educator, which is self paced. It is very easy for me to balance your pets needs with my own! I may allow overnight boarding from time to time in my own home, I will keep my calendar open for that accordingly. I can take your pets outside to favored parks or areas, or care for them in your own home. I do not wish to stay overnight in your home, but may be available for extended hours.

About: I have been involved with dogs, cats, birds reptiles, fish livestock including horses may entire life. I love to take care of animals whole heartedly I am working part time and am there for available to board anytime or check on your pets in late afternoons and all day on the weekends. I have a large fenced property and have several fur babies to keep your pet company. I have a huge area to walk your pet and have the ability to crate your pet as needed.

“We were so nervous about leaving our dog with a stranger. Epiphany was so professional and came and met our dog beforehand to calm our nerves. She came into our house and immediately sat on the floor, loving on our dog. She was fantastic. Our dog had a small bruise on his ear. She was so attentive it was monumentally better when we returned. She was flexible, calm, attentive and professional. Your pets will be in great hands!!!”

From the moment we left, she stayed in constant communication with daily updates, pictures, and messages that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She took incredible care of both of my dogs, Laney and Lola. Laney is young and energetic, while Lola is a senior dog with different needs, and Kate was wonderful with both of them. It was obvious she has experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. Knowing they were both happy, safe, and well cared for allowed me to truly relax and enjoy my trip. She didn’t just take care of the dogs—she took care of my home as well. She brought in packages, checked the mail, took out the trash, and left the house cleaner and more organized than when she arrived. When we got home, she had even left a detailed handwritten summary of the entire stay, which was incredibly thoughtful and completely unexpected. What really stood out to me was that even after her scheduled paid time had ended, she came back one last time to check on Laney and Lola because we weren’t getting home until later that evening. She absolutely did not have to do that, but it shows the kind of person she is and how much she genuinely cared about the dogs. If you’re considering booking Kate, don’t hesitate. She is professional, kind, reliable, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond. This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a pet sitter, and I fully intend to book her again. Hopefully she will be Laney and Lola’s sitter for many years to come.”

About: I am a nature lover! I enjoy taking my dog, Rosemary, on exciting hikes and engaging adventures. We love visiting the river, the dog park, many nature trails around town, and quality play time at home. I also love cuddling up with my cat, Bee. I have taken care of my own animals my entire life. From dogs & cats to birds to snakes, the list of animals I’ve had under my care goes on. Many of my pets have required medicine in their old age, so I am very comfortable administering medicine to an animal. I have dog-sat as well as house-sat on multiple occasions. One thing unique to me is my want for the animals to have as much freedom as possible. I work from home and decide my own schedule so I have a lot of flexibility in how I want to shape my day. This makes it so convenient for taking care of fur babies! We have a fenced yard that is perfect for a short zoomie sesh! Plus we have a gated dog park in our community that we frequent.

“Awesome experience with Michelle! She is the bomb pet sitter. She believes that pets do better in their own environment and that is what we were looking for. Our trips are sometimes long and at their age I don’t want them to have to pack up and leave home too. It is hard enough on them to watch the suitcases come out. Let the sadness begin:( From the many photos Michelle sent us it was obvious they were “right at home” with her. And she was only gone from them when she did her other pets sits. She did everything we asked her to do for our high maintenance Wheaten and they were rested and so excited when we came through the door. Not a worry at all while we were gone. We have had excellent sitters from Rover. It was us who decided we were ready to keep them at home. This was our girl. If you don’t feel like you need to tip her for her services.....there is something wrong with you?”

About: I always make sure my pet babies are well fed and clean water everyday. Cages or areas well cleaned and tidy. Organize their space well. Take the time to hold/pet each one individually one on one time with me. Its a daily,weekly,nightly routine. I have to make sure my babies are looking good, feeling good. I take my time to clean and feed and hold each pet so they know I love them dearly. I would treat a clients pet just as I would my own with love and understanding. Patient is very important when caring for any pet. I would love it as it was my own.

“The girls were great, they cleaned up after themselves, including washing and folding their towels. Our dogs are pretty codependent and so they had to cuddle with them most of the time. It appears they followed the directions for feeding and medication’s. We will definitely use them in the future again.”

About: I just recently dog sat at a family friends house for a weekend, and I played with her, went outside with her and just made sure she felt loved. She also loves to cuddle, so we cuddled on the couch together. I have open availability right now, as I am a recent college graduate and will have plenty of time to play with and take care of your pet(s)! I am able to play with your pet, and I can give them their food or medication they may need. I can also take them on walks within the area to give them some exercise!

She was easy to talk to, had good communication during our time away, and went out of her way to care for our dog, Jovi (who can be a bit of a handful and hard to walk sometimes!). She even went out of her way to take him to his favorite park/trail one of the evenings. The coolest thing was finding out she had cared for Jovi when he was a puppy before we adopted him (we’ve had him since he was 1 year old). His previous owner had also contacted Christine for dog sitting, and she was able to look back through her pictures and find young puppy photos of our Jovi!
