“We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”

I was raised around German Shepherds, but these days I share my home with a medium-haired cat named Tofu and a belgian malinois named Safi. About: I've been taking care of different animals since I was a kid. From farm livestock to exotic animals with more specific needs, I'm confident I can keep your pet very happy and comfortable. We had a family emergency that required short notice travel that coincided with Thanksgiving week, and we are brand new to Austin. Enter Norman. We picked him because he has been verified and had good reviews. He was very responsive, available for our pets on very short notice, answered all my questions and scheduled a phone call with us to go over pet specifics. Norman is very professional. He checked in every day, sent pictures of the cats, and followed all the instructions perfectly. We highly recommend him and will book him next time we are out of town.”
About: I have cared for my daughters cats at times when she goes out of town. They eat at a certain time so I go over before 6pm and play with them and then feed them. I am looking for small gigs like taking care of furry friends because pets are my life, as I'm sure they are yours too! Most of my professional and personal experiences with pets have been with dogs and cats, to include feedings, scheduled walks and playtimes, administering medications, bathing, nail trims, and just plain ol' cuddling. I am big on SAFETY as it is the most important thing when your pet is away from you or in someone else's care. I understand different breeds may need different types of attention, especially when factoring in age and certain health conditions. Please allow me a chance to meet your pup (or cat) and help you out occasionally! Cheers! (Smaller critters welcome, we all need a little checking on!) I’m currently a stay at home pet mom while I attend online classes to become an educator, which is self paced. It is very easy for me to balance your pets needs with my own! I may allow overnight boarding from time to time in my own home, I will keep my calendar open for that accordingly. I can take your pets outside to favored parks or areas, or care for them in your own home. I do not wish to stay overnight in your home, but may be available for extended hours.

About: I am a former vet tech that still has a passion for animals. I just recently decided to stay at home with my babies, and to take care of stuff around the house. So with that being said, I am available pretty much anytime for in home boarding, drop in visits, walks, bathing, and any other services that may be needed. My house is open to having visitors stay with me. We live on 30 acres, with an acre completely fenced in. We also have a dog run area that is fenced in our homestead as well. I worked in the vet field for roughly 5 years and loved every second of it. I have 5 cats and 5 dogs. The cats have their own room, so they don’t mix with the dogs. I also have 2 young kids who absolutely adore all animals. I am able to give medications, baths, nail trims, and any other special care that may be needed. I treat all animals as if they were my own. I have toys and bones all throughout the house. There are dog beds and blankets everywhere for them to lay on. I even have blankets on the furniture for them to get up and lay on. I have a fenced in yard where they can run and play. I love animals and love to spend time with them. I do require our furry kids to be up to date on vaccines like Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella. I am pretty much home all day, so I am available all day to take care of any and all animals. If I do have to leave, it is for a short time, and I make sure to let them potty before I leave and as soon as I get home. I care for pets as if they are my own. I treat them like I treat my own animals. I make sure that they have everything they need and then try to give extra. Spend extra time, give extra attention, more snuggles, etc
About: I have lots of experience with different types of animals. We have three inside kitties that were rescued when they were still bottle feeding. Two years ago we lost our 19 year old Labrador to old age. And the year before that we lost our 16 year old chow chow to old age. I will feed, water, walk and clean up after the babies. “We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”
