About: Hi! I’m Erika, a lifelong animal lover who grew up on a Nebraska farm surrounded by animals of all kinds. I took a break from Rover while caring for my senior dog through the final stage of her life, but this work-from-home nonprofit leader is excited to open here home to dogs again. I have experience with all kinds of pets, but I especially shine with dogs (and pet parents) who need a little extra attention. That might mean managing separation anxiety, giving medications to a stubborn pup, caring for seniors, or helping energetic dogs burn off their zoomies on long “sniffaris.” And if you’re the kind of pet parent who likes updates, you’re in good company; I was that dog mom too. I love sharing frequent photos and updates so you can relax knowing exactly how your pup is doing. A few things about my home and care style: • My fiancé and I both work from home, so dogs are rarely (if ever!) left alone • Comfortable environment for small and medium dogs; larger dogs are welcome, but tend to do best here if they’re older or more mellow • Experienced with medications, senior care, special routines, picky eaters, and separation anxiety • Lots of snuggles, walks, and very personalized attention. I’m highly attuned to each dog’s needs! Professionally, I lead fundraising at a national nonprofit organization (from home!), and I bring that same level of responsibility to caring for your pet. My goal is simple: help your dog feel safe, loved, and completely at home while you’re away (and keep you at ease while you’re apart). I have a wonderful full-time career in the non-profit sector at a lung cancer research foundation, which allows me to work remotely. This affords me time and flexibility to show up and care for your pet (and home) with the level of love and attention you desire. No day is typical because every pet and pet parent is unique. I adapt to keep your pet’s schedule consistent while you are away! What I commit to in my work as a Rover Sitter: 1.) NEEDS MET: Your and your pets' needs are 100% met; instructions followed perfectly 2.) COMMUNICATION: Daily photos and check-ins—more if you would like 3.) MY TIME & CARE: Lots and lots of time spent with your pet, especially if they have extra needs or separation anxiety 4.) SAFETY & RESPECT: To leave your home as nice or better than I found it and to keep your pet healthy, happy, and safe 5.) PEACE OF MIND: Doing what it takes to keep your mind at ease regarding both your pet and your home while you are away 6.) TRUST: If desired, I will happily meet with you in advance to ensure we can establish trust and expectations together
“Emily treats your fur babies like her own! My girls absolutely love spending the day at doggie daycare with her and her sweet pup, Gertie. I get the cutest playtime videos throughout the day, which gives me total peace of mind knowing they're safe, loved, and having an absolute blast while I'm away.”

“Danielle is AWESOME!! Roxy had a great time with her and her dogs and kids are amazing! She sent me photos during the day and let me know how Roxy was doing. She takes her for nice walks and gets plenty of exercise and fun. I'm super happy with the care Roxy gets at her house. Thanks!”

About: I focus on building trust so pets feel safe and comfortable. I have experience with puppies (basic training and routines) and senior dogs (gentle care, patience, and medication support). Every pet is treated like family. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine since I work from home. I’m available throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship, so pets get consistent attention and care rather than being left alone. I create a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment, whether in my home or the client’s. I supervise pets closely, follow their routines, and ensure they have fresh water, proper meals, and plenty of attention. I focus on building trust, reducing stress, and making sure every pet feels comfortable and secure.
About: I have worked on and off at a local vet office as a kennel technician. I am taking online classes to become a vet assistant. I am a stay at home mom of older kids and several dogs. My dogs are friendly to other dog friendly dogs. I am starting to groom dogs in my home. I am able to give dogs baths before they go home. I have flexible hours. But I do groom dogs in my home part time. Most days I am home to be with the dogs. I have farm animals that I take care of twice a day. I will have the dogs in their crates so everyone is safe when I am not able to watch them. I have a fenced in yard. But will take your dog out on a leash to go potty. I have 6 dogs that will play with your fur baby. During the day I do put everyone in a crate from 12-1 to give everyone a little break. But usually I do not have my dogs in a crate during the day. At night my dogs are in their crates from 9:30/10:00 PM- 7:30 AM. I let all the dogs go out to potty before they are put to bed. I wash all soiled bedding right away. We do have potty pads out around our house if needed. We have several gates up to be able to keep a closer eye on all dogs. We are able to feed dogs in different areas so there is no food aggression.

Pet parents can count on me to be responsible, punctual, and attentive to their dog’s unique needs. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to dedicate to caring for pets. Your furry friend will always be my first priority. I love spending time walking, playing, and making sure they feel happy and loved. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or sitting during the day. I’ll always do my best to work around your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first with me. You can count on me to treat your fur baby like family every time.
“Jill is awesome! So down to earth and just the sweetest lady you’ll meet! Was very accommodating last minute for me so I could make it to my plans and my dogs felt right at home at her house! Would recommend her to anyone!!”

“Skye had such a good time with Charley! We were a little nervous because Skye gets pretty bad separation anxiety, but she was happy and tired out when we picked her up from day care. Charley was calm and comfortable with Skye and we could see that Skye took to her right away. Thank you Charley for everything!”

“Stacy has been watching Trixie about 2 to 3 times a week since I adopted Trixie at 4 months old over a year ago. She's been a godsend allowing me to work downtown and have care for Trixie. She goes above and beyond, and I'm pretty sure Trixie thinks she's her mom :) Thanks for everything Stacy!”
