“Kaitlyn was wonderful. Went over Jensen's history was provided a tour of her home, very clean and definitely set up to welcome dogs. The report card was spot on with what we expected. Provided a calm environment to welcome a puppy who has been through a lot in her short life. When we got home, she acted normal. With our previous dogs we boarded at kennels but felt the need to try something different with a puppy that spent most of her life at a shelter. Our dogs would be wiped out when they came back home. So far not seeing any of that from her stay with Kaitlyn.”

About: I am the second oldest of 8 kids and I have taken care of pets and kids ever since I was little. I love cats and dogs and get along well with many breeds but prefer small dogs because of strength and we have a huge yard but it’s not fenced in. I am currently available 24/7 and just have small increments of time I would be gone for a doctors appointment occasionally so I can take the dog out often. We keep them well fed and hydrated and cuddle for cats and dog and for the dog we also let him out on the long chain or my son takes him from a walk because he is a larger breed.

While I don’t consider myself a professional dog trainer, I have a lot of hands-on experience training my own dogs and enjoy doing fun, light basic training with pups who are willing participants. About: It’s been a while since I offered services, but I’m getting back into it and would love to care for your babies! I have always been a dog owner - if I could rescue every dog in the world I would! Instead, I'll gladly help take care of other peoples' angels and call it a day. I recently lost my dog of 12 years and am ready to pour my puppy love into your dogs. I work from home so will always be around. I have a yard that is partially fenced, so I will take your pup on walks or only be outside with them leashed. I take safety seriously!

About: I am an animal lover, through and through. Dogs, cats, hedgehogs, birds… you name it. I treat my guest animals like my own and love on them as much as possible. I enjoy taking cute portraits of the pets in my care and I send lots of photos and written updates. I currently have a female Aussie/Pit mix, currently fostering a female Blue Doberman, and have had Doberman Pinschers in the past from puppies through old age until the rainbow bridge. I’m patient with puppies and elderly animals. I check to see which commands they know and how they have been trained to keep them consistent in my care, and have experience administering medications to them. Before joining Rover, I frequently dog and cat sat for friends and family. I am currently fully remote and based at home. I have a lot of flexibility to accommodate your pet’s schedule and needs. My schedule may change in the future but I will update my info when that happens. I have one female 7 year old Aussie/Pit Mix and occasionally foster Dobermans through Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus. I have a spare bedroom to host guest animals with any bedding and belongings but during the day they are with me, within line of sight in my home. My yard is fenced (4ft) and only two steps to the yard from the door. There are no children living in my home. I live is a quiet neighborhood and can go for walks as needed.

Last year, we said goodbye to our English Bulldog after 12 wonderful years, and while my family is not quite ready for another forever pup yet, I am excited to open our home and hearts to other dogs in the meantime. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away, and I'll treat your dog like part of the family. Whether your pup loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just relaxing company, I'm happy to provide a loving and comfortable environment. I work from home full-time during the work week, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. Your pup won’t be left alone for long periods and will have plenty of companionship and supervision while in my care. I’m available for boarding, daycare, and drop-in visits with a schedule that can accommodate most pet needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in the country on a full acre with a large fenced-in backyard, giving dogs plenty of safe space to run, explore, and play. Our home provides a calm, loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed while away from their families. Pets receive lots of supervision, attention, and care throughout the day. I’ll always treat your dog like part of the family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved during their stay.
