About: Growing up on a farm taught me to care for all animals with gentleness and respect. I have eperience training our puppy who is now 3 years old. I am all about rewards for positive behavior! I work remotely as an artist and I am a stay at home mom! My week days are very flexible since I make my own schedule. I am available Monday-Saturday anytime from 8-5, unless otherwise noted. I play interactive games with our dog and love taking her on long walks. Fun exercise is so good for dogs! I will do the same for your pups as I do my own.

About: Hi there! I’m Amy, a lifelong dog lover and dog mom to Riley, a sweet and sensitive 3 year old Mini Australian Shepherd. I’m from the DC area, lived in NYC and Philly after college, and moved to Columbus in fall of 2024 with my partner Jake. We live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house on the border of Victorian Village and Harrison West. We both work from home and have a fenced backyard, so your dog will have plenty of space to explore and lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your pup is playful or prefers alone time, I’m here to make sure they feel safe and loved. One of the reasons I started doing Rover is because I wanted to find friends for Riley to spend time with during the day. He enjoys playing with dogs who are around his size (30lb) or smaller. I’m excited to meet your pup and would love to set up a meet-and-greet to learn all about their unique personality and needs. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m home the majority of the day, so I’m able to provide plenty of attention and potty breaks. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment. I’m mindful of each dog’s personality and I follow their usual routines as closely as possible to help them feel at ease.

“Heather took care of my 10 month old puppy for the day. She communicated well, sent me a couple pictures while he was there, took him for a walk, he played with her dogs and they had a great time. He was clearly happy and comfortable, well taken care of while I was gone. He was happy to see me but happy hanging out with her as well. He was struggling this past week or so with separation anxiety from his human brother and not finishing all of his food, but he ate all of his food Heather and seems back on track. About: I started fostering dogs back during COVID to help them find a their furever family, and now I want to help dog families, like my own, continue the getting care they need to where they feel safe when their owners are away. :) I am constantly taking care of my dog son Kobe, who I also fostered through the system way back when. He, as well as fostering other dogs, has given the experience I need to take care of your family too. I am familiar with dogs with anxiety, dogs with allergies, dogs that need medication and/or a little extra attention. Everyone needs love no matter what type of care, and I believe I can be like your friendly neighbor giving your furever family the care they need along with the safety and comfortability like a neighbor or friend. :) I have a fenced yard for your pet to run around, and also extra room space in case they need time to themselves. I can also take your dog on walks at a nearby park/rec center to get their extra energy out when needed.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, the last 13 years we have had 5 dogs and 2 cats in our home. Like most animals lovers we treat our animals like family, because they are. Three of our pups are seniors (12, 14 and 15 years old) that requires daily meds and special treatment. So I have no problems giving medications if needed. I have a passion for making sure each of our animals feel loved, appreciated and safe every single day. We have a fenced in yard for our dogs to go outside and play as much as they want. Safety is no issue at our house.

About: I have a family home with a fenced in yard. I also live within walking distance of a popular park where many dogs take their walks. I have a little boy that would love to entertain your fur baby! I am a stay at home parent and only need to leave my home for my son’s activities or to run errands but am never gone longer than a couple hours. I have a fenced in yard and no other animals in my home. I do have a small child though, and he would love to throw a ball, tug a rope, give treats and cuddles.

About: I’m Alexis and I love dogs! There’s truly nothing better than our four-legged friends because of the unconditional loyalty and kindness they give. I believe we should give them all the same love and care because all pups deserve it! I wish I could have them all! They're such a blessing to us and all I want to do is see them happy. My earliest memory of a dog was when I was about three years old. We had a German Shepherd police K-9 who lived in our home named Magnum. I remember laying on him like a pillow on the floor and falling asleep in front of the fire. Around the same time, my dad and I went outside with Magnum to play in the snow. We built a little snowman and threw snowballs for Magnum to catch or bite into a cloud of powder! He was a huge, fluffy dog, but was the sweetest and most loving pup around! Big dogs have always held a special place in my heart. The only thing I don't like about dogs is that we lose them far too early. I prefer to take care of animals in your home due to the fact that I have five to six pets living there at any given time and I wouldn't want there to be any issues. Additionally, watching a dog in their own home allows them to feel comfortable and makes the stay stress-free. I believe that communication is one of the most important aspects of a stay. I prefer to be in contact daily with my owners, sending them pictures and updates. That way, you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! Dogs are kept busy throughout the day, so I usually get some great pictures that the owners appreciate. And the dogs sleep well at night because they are active throughout the day! I always keep my lines of communication open in case any concerns or questions arise, and my responses are always prompt and professional.

About: My prior experiences include working in an emergency veterinary hospital, exotic specialty department and a general practice hospital. I have over a decade of veterinary professional experience. I have experience with cats, dogs, birds, small mammals, and reptiles and have CPR training. I’m a SAHM currently so I am available all days and many holidays. I do have a small daughter that I bring with me when needed but we avoid contact with pets as much as possible. I have a 0.5 acre of land for your pets to play in as well as a safe neighborhood to do walks in. I will be home all day when pets are day boarding or staying.
