About: My pet care experience is extensive, having completed over 30, 5-star dog/cat sits, years of caring for and raising dogs and cats, as well as experience with Positive Reinforcement training and Clicker Dog Training. I have experience with administering many types of medication including pills and liquid form, and have cared for dogs with seizure issues, heart problems and joint issues. I have experience with lots of breeds, large, small and everything in-between! My experience covers young active dogs as well as elderly pups who need a slower pace, and I believe ever dog needs a "sniff" walk once in a while! My animal care experience spans my entire life! I have had the privilege of owning many rescue animals over the years including a German shepherd, border collie mix, chihuahua, miniature Maltese poodle mix, and three different cats! I've had dogs since I was 3 years old, got my very first (and long asked for) cat at 4 years old, experienced raising my first litter of kittens at 5 years old and got my very own miniature white Maltese poodle mix at 7! I've also done weekend dog watching and am always the first call for animal care when friends are traveling. I'm a college student, currently studying remotely to enable the amazing opportunity of pet care, traveling and pet sitting! My schedule is fairly flexible, so your furry friend will not be alone for long stretches of time! About: Hello! My name is Emma Brown and I work in the outdoor field hoping to work with wildlife in the future. I have always had dogs in my household growing up. Ever since I was young, I made it my job to teach my dogs tricks, make sure they don’t get into trouble, and give them the best home. At one point, my childhood dog had a litter of 11 chocolate lab puppies. I helped to raise them up all the way until they left for their new homes. I also watched other people’s dogs growing up. I have always made it my priority to understand each pet owners request and stick to that schedule. Prioritizing each dog’s safety and health has always been my biggest strength as well. This is what I love to do and I can’t wait to get to know your pets! I’m currently in between jobs right now and will have a lot of time to be with your pets. Depending on what you ask, I can take out your pets on walks, to be let out, or to just be around however long you may ask for. Just let me know what schedule you’d like me to fit into. I unfortunately can’t house your dog in my home. I can pet and house sit to make sure to keep their schedule as normal as possible. I always try my best to prioritize their safety and health, so only giving them their own food and treats is how I do so. I don’t feed my own pets my extra food scraps so don’t worry about that. Once you let me know of their schedule, I’ll follow it to the best of my ability. I would also love to know their mannerisms and quirks so I can best approach them and their care.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I personally own two cats. I have dog/cat sat for weeks on end with no issues. I love to play fetch with the dogs and play with cats when they find the time! I will drop everything I can to ensure that the animals in my care are well taken care of and that the area around them is better than when I arrived. I currently work in Spokane, WA at an accounting firm from 8-5 everyday with an hour lunch break. I am free almost every weekend and would love to spend time with some animals in my free time. I keep all areas clean; I clean up after the animals 2+ times a day or when necessary. I ensure they are fed at the correct times with the correct amount of food and ensure that their water is clean and full every day. I give tons of love to the animals and respect the owner's rules and regulations. I keep in contact, during the stay, with the owner if that is what they prefer.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
