I have 11 years experience of pet care, working on a farm with a variety of animals; dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, jersey cows,Angus cattle,horses,sheep, goats,pigs,pot belly pigs,chickens,chicks,ducks, rabbits, bunnies,Emu,zebras...You name it, I've probably taken care of it! About: Hello! May name is Emma Brown and I work in the outdoor field hoping to work with wildlife in the future. Ever since I was young, I’ve had cats in some area of my life. Either when I visited my Aunt’s house, as one of our neighbors outdoor cats, or when I started cat sitting. I have always made it my priority to understand each pet owners request and stick to that schedule. Prioritizing each cat’s safety and health has always been my biggest strength as well. This is what I love to do and I can’t wait to get to know your pets!
About: For the past 15 years we’ve had 2-3 dogs and truly believe our dogs are a part of our family. Currently we have a 2 year old Aussiedoodle and we have two kids who love to play with dogs but also understand when a dog needs his or her space. We do allow dogs on the couch and have plenty of room for a dog bed if provided. I’ve had pets all my life and understand how important it is to have someone watching them who will treat them love and respect. I’m currently a stay at home mom and my husband works from home. While we have daily chores and errands we run everything is adjustable to fit your dogs needs. I’m rarely gone more then 2 hours at a time and there will usually always be someone home in my absence. Dogs are welcome to come in and out of our home via a doggie door and have full access to our large backyard. We recently moved and the yard is even bigger and better than before! If you require walks or even trips to the dog park we can definitely accommodate that. We do allow dogs on the couch and we have gates set up to keep dogs on our main level giving us the ability to keep a close watch on them. Note: For puppies under 1 or dogs with chewing tendencies or destructive separation anxiety we may require a crate. We do have one extra available and can definitely discuss further at the meet and greet. I’m currently a stay at home Mom so my schedule is flexible. I’m able to be home as much as needed and rarely leave for extended periods of time. My husband works from home so there will most likely always be someone around. In addition to our one dog we can board up to three additional dogs at one time. I will do my best to keep you updated and informed if there will be any additional dogs in the house at the time of your pets visit but I do quite often receive last minute request. Drop off/pick up times between 7:00 AM - 10:30 PM, any request outside these times may require an additional night to be booked. We recently moved into our new home which is larger then the old one with TONS of space for the dogs, a covered patio to relax under and a fully fenced in yard. We plan to install a doggie door as soon as possible so dogs can have free access in and out of the house. While rare to have more the. 3 additional dogs in the house we will occasionally take up to 5 additional dogs at one time. While we do our absolute best to monitor the dogs 24/7 they are dogs and can be unpredictable, we do our best to maintain a safe environment for all dogs and will inform you of any issues that arise.
“I went on vacation and came home to a happy cat. He’s a lovey dovey cat, and check-ins don’t cut it for longer trips. I tried the sitting service, and I was really happy with Cailee. As I was leaving for vacation, it felt like anything that could go wrong did. The printer ran out of ink, I forgot to put out the spare key, etc. Cailee gave me lots of grace, which was greatly appreciated. She sent me pictures of Pumpkin, and I felt like I could actually enjoy my vacation because I could trust she had him handled.”

“We had never left Finn with anyone before and were nervous about doing so. However, my husband’s dad passed away and we needed to have someone care for Finn during the funeral. I found Kelly and Tyler and thought they sounded like a good fit with their dog experience, fenced acre, four children and their seemingly sweet pup daisy. Finn loves other dogs and people especially kids. We booked four hours the day before the funeral so we could make sure it would work. Tyler (TJ) met us and just couldn’t have made us feel more that Finn was in good hands. Their pup Daisy indeed is a little sweetie and Finn loved her. They were watching another Lab the same day and TJ had kept him inside to introduce Finn to Daisy first. He brought Doc out and he and Finn were instant friends. I don’t think Finn was ever aware that we left or were gone. We felt so comfortable leaving him. Kelly sent us a video update and Finn looked like he was having the time of his life. We picked up Finn with Kelly there to greet us and she just couldn’t be any nicer or sweet. We felt like we have struck gold with these two. The next day drop off was easy peasy as Finn was excited at just the mention of Daisy’s name (I think it’s puppy love). We were able to concentrate on the memorial service and not worry a bit about Finn. Kelly and Tyler were truly a God send! We are sure of that! We highly recommend them and Finn will be back for sure. Thank you so much Kelly and TJ for your kindness and for taking such great care of Finn!!”

About: I’ve had 2 shihtzus since they were 8 weeks old. Have lost both within the last 2 years at ages 15 and 17. Me and hubby enjoyed them and we miss them terribly. I love strolls around the block and playtime. Serious lap time and undivided attention is awaiting your special fur baby, as I am retired and at home full time. Each year I go to Utah to dog sit for my middle son for 2 weeks while they vacation. They’ve had a Rottweiler, Berniedoodle and Yorkies. The big guys loved TAKING ME on daily walks around their local park. I always took my 2 shihtzus swimming every time we went boating. Perfect day in my opinion!!! I am retired and available most of the time. Short trips to the grocery store or other errands are basically the only time I leave. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room inside and outside. Special diets or medications are not a problem. I liked to wash my dogs faces after mealtimes. They can sleep in my bed, or not. Your preference.
About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.
“First time using app based on local recommendation. Traveling with an extended stay. Had a meet and greet with Jackie before doggie day care to settle my nerves. Warm and friendly and bonded with Ranger immediately. Met her at house next day for drop off and she was very attentive asking questions about allergies and concerns. Felt very comfortable and at ease with leaving Ranger there for a “staycation”. He settled in quickly and Jackie kept me updated with text and pics and how he was doing throughout the day. The pics say it all. Highly recommended and hope we have another opportunity in the future.”

I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I could remember! I’ve lived on a farm and find pleasure in tending to animal needs! Pets are therapeutic and are make great buddies for outdoor activities! I’m currently working full-time and have availability in the late afternoon (after 3PM) to tend to your pets desires! I typically work mornings 7AM-3PM. About: Hi, I’m Alexis!💞☺️👋🏼 I have always loved and had a connection with all types of animals and joined Rover in the summer of 2022 to fill some of my time, I took a short break but now am back to sitting in CoeurdAlene, Idaho to fill some of my free time!☺️🐾 Before I found out I didn’t quite have the stomach for it and actually explored the career, I always wanted to be a veterinarian so I could get to work with animals! Since I couldn’t handle the messy medical parts now I love to sit + walk the fur-babies, take them to the park, and give lots of snuggles + treats!🥰 I’ve took care of pets since I was little and our animals had multiple litters of puppies and kittens as well so I’ve got to take care of little fur babies too along with the experience I’ve gained through Rover❤️ My mom and I ran a pet sitting page through Thumbtack in 2014 for a few years that was super similar to Rover and we were voted a top sitter under ItsRainingCats&Dogs<3 I love getting to feel like I’m helping a family and pet stay close while they are apart, while I’ve done pet sitting I’ve worked with elderly, blind, deaf, and other disabilities that needed help with some extra things.❤️ I like to make sure the animal always feels as comfortable as it can if staying in my home so let me know any special needs and I will always send pictures!😊 I’ve also given medications before if your animal needs to take them while being watched just as long as it’s pills or oral, I’ve never administered a shot.❤️ I have a small lab retriever mix who is full of energy when he wants to be and has never not wanted to introduce himself to the others, he is about 20 lbs and going on 8!😊🐾 He also LOVES to get out of the house and go on car rides + swimming so as long as it’s okay with you and your pet wants to, they can come on the adventures as well!🥰 I’m currently finishing some school online and work on jewelry for my Etsy shop in the daytime so I am almost always home during the week and usually just run quick errands throughout the weekends so I’ll always be back to check on the pets if I go anywhere as long as they work well being left alone, if not can make arrangements☺️ I have a large grassy field I let them use the bathroom every 1 -2 hours and always watch over them while they eat just in case anything were to happen. If you’re furbaby gives you a hard time in the bath or you’ve noticed they’ve been getting a little stinky, I don’t mind sitting in there with them and getting wet. If they get anxiety from baths I can bring treats and help them stay calm.❤️ We have some oatmeal soap for dry + sensitive skin and soft bristle brushes as well as nail clippers if you notice they need theirs done I have been clipping my dogs for a long time😊 I love to get outside myself so if your dog likes to go to the dog park or on walks we’ll be besties🥰🐾 Me and Winston go swimming often as well in the warmer months! I always will supervise feeding times or manage if pets need to eat separately, I let the babies out and pick up if the owner wants me to keep the yard clean, watch to make sure no doors or rooms that are supposed to be kept shut are left open, make sure crates/kennels are secured 100% when leaving, I always will put a leash on when going anywhere with a pet and bring water if it’s hot outside to keep the babies cooled down🫶🏼

About: Hello! My name is Emma Brown and I work in the outdoor field hoping to work with wildlife in the future. I have always had dogs in my household growing up. Ever since I was young, I made it my job to teach my dogs tricks, make sure they don’t get into trouble, and give them the best home. At one point, my childhood dog had a litter of 11 chocolate lab puppies. I helped to raise them up all the way until they left for their new homes. I also watched other people’s dogs growing up. I have always made it my priority to understand each pet owners request and stick to that schedule. Prioritizing each dog’s safety and health has always been my biggest strength as well. This is what I love to do and I can’t wait to get to know your pets! I’m currently in between jobs right now and will have a lot of time to be with your pets. Depending on what you ask, I can take out your pets on walks, to be let out, or to just be around however long you may ask for. Just let me know what schedule you’d like me to fit into. I unfortunately can’t house your dog in my home. I can pet and house sit to make sure to keep their schedule as normal as possible. I always try my best to prioritize their safety and health, so only giving them their own food and treats is how I do so. I don’t feed my own pets my extra food scraps so don’t worry about that. Once you let me know of their schedule, I’ll follow it to the best of my ability. I would also love to know their mannerisms and quirks so I can best approach them and their care.

But if not I'm sure to stay with in ear shot of your dog and and check in in 10 min increments if he/she is laying in another room. There are two dog crates in my home if dogs need to be separated for a few min. There is very little to chew on and swallow in my house and the yard is always kept clean! I will never give your dog a treat you didn't bring or a chew I didn't get your permission to give.
