About: Hi, I'm Leah! I provide dog sitting exclusively in my home on five peaceful acres in rural Minnesota. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm and have spent my life caring for animals of all kinds. I've owned multiple dogs over the years, including large and small breeds, and understand that every dog has unique needs, routines, and personalities. As a registered nurse, I am dependable, attentive, and comfortable caring for dogs who require extra support. I can administer oral medications and injections, follow detailed care plans, and provide attentive care for senior dogs or pets with special medical needs. My property offers a quiet, low-stress environment with plenty of space to explore, relax, and enjoy the outdoors under supervision. I have a tripod Pyrenees named Lola and she is very sociable! Whether your dog loves activity and adventure or prefers a slower pace and extra cuddles, my goal is to provide a safe, caring home away from home while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I'm home all day, every day! I work a couple of night shifts during the week but my own dog barely notices I'm gone because she's sleeping. During the day the longest I'm usually away is a couple of hours for errands or the gym. If your dog has specific supervision needs, feel free to reach out and we can discuss whether my schedule is a good fit. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. I follow instructions carefully and make sure routines are done exactly the way you prefer, including feeding schedules, leash safety, and any medications or special care needs. I’m a nurse by background, so I’m very observant, calm in unexpected situations, and comfortable handling responsibility with attention to detail. I take trust seriously and understand I’m being welcomed into your pet’s space.

“Wow!! We had a boarding set up with another Rover family but unfortunately - it was not going to be a good fit. I quickly messaged Princesa - as this was the day we were to leave for the long memorial weekend - and she responded almost instantly! They were Incredibly flexible offering to meet for public pick up on our way out of town or bring her to their home based on our needs. Our pup had an AMAZING time and we were updated with pictures and texts daily. We were able to enjoy our holiday weekend with our minds at ease knowing our pup was well taken care of!!!! Thank you so much!!!! This was our first time using Rover and will definitely be boarding with them in the future!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

While I currently don’t have a pet of my own, caring for others’ pets is incredibly fulfilling because it allows me to continue giving love and attention to animals while helping families feel confident their pets are in good hands. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I focus on providing dependable care, lots of attention, and clear communication with updates and photos so you always feel comfortable and connected while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so your pet will have lots of company, love and attention throughout the day—no long lonely hours here. I live in an apartment that has a dog park, and lots of nearby walking trails I go to daily. Since I don’t currently have a pet of my own, caring for others’ pets truly brings so much happiness into our home. I love creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
