I have years of experience taking care of animals. I worked as a Vet Tech so I have a good idea of health issues and problem solving when it comes to anything going on with your pet. I have spent time fostering a variety of cats and dogs which has given me experience working with all sorts of personalities and behaviors. I have experience with animal behavior, training and enrichment for both dogs and cats. I promise to give each pet a special individual experience catering to their unique personality. It would be a honor to be trusted to care for your pets as I know how much it would means!

Candace and Jeremy were fantastic. From the first day we meet, we knew they were the right people to care for our dogs. They have a great homestead and I've never seen my dogs more comfortable away from home than with them. My dogs like the relaxed county life and they were able to offer them that. We received photo updates periodically, and there didn't seem to be any issues. At "kennels" that we've used in the past my one dog would come home stressed, under weight, and depressed for days. With Candace and Jeremy he was ready to go home and excited, but not stressed or depressed at all.
My dog had a great time over at Candaces. I love that she sent some pictures and updated us on Milo during his stay there!

What a wonderful couple. They “get” dogs. Our one has separation anxiety and the other is borderline. They seemed so chill here and happy. We even got a happy photo of them. We’ll definitely be back. This is so much better than them being cooped up in a kennel at a boarder. Thank you, see you next time.
Candace is amazing. Our dog Suit has special diet requirements and is struggling with a chronic illness and Candace is so patient, loving, and kind to her. She always has the nicest things to say, they always welcome our dog like she’s part of the family, and they are so patient with Suit even when she has accidents due to her illness, we are so thankful for her.
Candace was amazing! She kept me up to date on my dogs while they were there and took great care of them. Highly recommend Candace and will go back to her in the future.

Schedule
I am home all day with your animals. I may travel into town sometimes but I am never gone for long periods of time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a lovely fenced in yard with a tall fence to keep your pup safe. I have 3 friendly dogs to keep your pet company and also have a spare bedroom set up for boarding/crating if needed. Your pet will be safe and secure at my home.
Pets
A typical day
I spend much of my time in the fenced in area of my 5 acres hanging out with my own pets. We also take walks around the yard and let my dogs swim in the small pond (tested water for safety) on the property. We also live next to a beautiful forest preserve so walks are a must!
