“Something about Michelle….she always gave really detailed feedback and made me feel like she loved my pup like her own. She made me really comfortable will def use her next summer and highly recommend.”

About: I have several years experience caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as small animals and exotics. Worked for a couple years at a dog daycare/ boarding facility. I foster dogs with medical and behavioral issues so I’ve seen it all. (Currently taking a break from fostering so I have room to board dogs) I’m home full time right now! I may go out for a couple hours for dog walking, but other than that someone is always here. We have a spare room if they need their own space. We have lots of experience fostering and crate/ rotate. We always make sure to spend equal quality time with each dog. If I am caring for your pets at your home I will spend the night there with them.

“Kathy has been so amazing with my dog. She absolutely loves when Kathy comes to take her on her mid day walk and it’s such a relief knowing she’s in good hands! Kathy provides great updates and adorable pictures. I highly recommend!”

“Elizabeth is amazing!! She is so wonderful and kind. I hired Elizabeth to walk my dog Ranger while I was away overnight and during our meet and greet all my animals flocked around her they naturally felt her warmth. I highly recommend Elizabeth she’s wonderful.”

About: I grew up with two labs of my own and pet-sat frequently for a family friend. I have been walking and sitting/boarding dogs more professionally since February 2020. I work from home Monday through Friday. I am happy to have a companion join me while I work or take care of your pet weeknights and weekends. My boyfriend and I live in a quiet neighborhood in Ballston Spa. Since I work from home, I can be with your pet all day.

About: I have worked with animals, both large and small, since I was a child. I have experience as a veterinary tech, and I have trained multiple dogs throughout the years. I have also worked at the Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, both caring for and evaluating animals. I have special needs pet experience, including running IVs, and giving medications (aurally, orally, injections, etc.). I am not squeamish or shy with any animal, and I have the ability to separate animals from my personal pets and give them their own room! There is a cute town that is very dog friendly, trails, parks and water are aplenty! I word office job during the week, but weekend I stay home and garden/read/take my dog out for walks and swims. I have other pets that I enjoy caring for as well, and my dog and I spend a lot of time cuddling. I have a separate guest room, furnished with a bed for them to relax in. All my animals are well-socialized and can be put into their personal bedroom as needed. I small yard for them to play, and direct access to wooded trails behind my house.

About: I have 3 pups that mean the world to me, but still miss my #1 boy that sadly passed away to an autoimmune disease. I have experience with puppies having raised all 4 from just a couple months and puppy training With Parker getting sick I also have experience giving medicine and taking care of elderly dogs. I understand each one has their different needs and aim to give them as much love while they're in my care. I currently work overnights so I'm free the rest of the day after 9 am. When I get home I take the pups out and feed them. They get treats for finishing their food and then it's playtime! I have plenty of space for pups to run around and live down the road from a dog park that's usually pretty empty. I also take the pups to a trail nearby that leaves them tired out.

“Our dog has special medical needs so we can’t trust just anyone with her care. Rachelle made us feel comfortable right away and our dog loved her. We will definitely be using her when I go back to work in the office.”

“Emily is the first Rover sitter we've ever used and she was so great! She was patient in answering all my questions and explaining the process. My pug came back very happy and tired from her walk.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was eight, and routinely help my mom with her foster care clinic, housing dogs with fosters and taking in new fosters as they come through. I do generally work weekends, but I can usually modify my hours if needed. I want to make sure your pet feels the least amount of change possible, and will adhere to the schedule you outline.

Emily K.

“I definitely recommend Emily for a pet sitter. She has a love and passion for animals especially dogs. She’s been working with a dog rescue for years and it is certainly her calling. She has dogs of her own and has watched my dog Layla many times. My dog gets so excited when I tell her we’re going to see Emily. She is sweet, patient, very reliable, and responsible. She lets me know when Layla eats, walks, and uses the bathroom. She treats her as if she was my actual child. I highly recommend Emily.”

“10 degrees outside and Jack still walked my dogs for a mile! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to take care of their fur babies!”

Samantha D.
“Sam is reliable and caring, and somehow figured out a way to earn our cautious pup’s trust. Definitely someone you’d want to work with if you’re trying to schedule regular visits or walks. Sam added a few minutes of playtime to the walk and the next thing we knew, our dog would be waiting by the deck door for Sam to arrive. Sam was our Walker and our Dog Sitter. Unfortunately for us, she moved. We haven’t been able to find the right fit since. Our loss is your gain, don’t hesitate to book her for your pup!!”
