About: I have been an independent pet sitter for 18 plus years. I have plenty of experience with cats, dogs and other small critters. I have been very passionate in my love of animals for many years and all of my pets mean the world to me. I have spent time volunteering in shelters for pet care as we as medical care and have spent time working as a vet assistant as well. While working in the vet office I learned how to medicate cats as well as how to give subcutaneous fluids. About: I have always had pets. Whether fish, cats, dogs, small birds. They are part of my family! I’m devoted! And have even resuscitated a gold fish! I work part time during the week watching my grandkids but otherwise have no obligations except to care for your fur babies and ensure your peace 😉 I will ask for instructions and follow them to ensure your pets routine and comfort is foremost beyond keeping doors shut for security. I will not use or bring other pets or materials into your home that would compromise your pets peace and safety. My children are now adults with lives of their own. So I have plenty of time for your fur babies. So, no worries. When I’m caring for your fur-baby, I will always consider your pets safety and well-being first. I understand that little dogs can be fragile. :-) I prefer to care for your pets in your home if possible. Otherwise they must be socialized and okay with my cat. My home is small but I have a yard and lots of walking available - Cats are usually drop-ins at Your home, but if in mine; because I have cats (friendly), I wiIl always see/hear them and be well-looked after. :-)
About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.
About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was a young child & doggos have always been a special part of my life! They become important family members who give & get the unconditional love we all deserve! It’s hard some times when life takes us away from home & our doggies for longer than we’d like. Exactly the reason I would be the perfect person to love, snuggle, take care of & give your dogs the attention they want and need while you’re away or busy! puppers will always be able to depend on seeing my kind face and caring hand at times like these. Just as they support our emotional needs on a daily basis, I have come to love returning the small favor for them! I am home full time & dedicate my day to taking care of my kids, my doggo, my 2 docile kittens & my household. My time is not limited. My kids and I love to take walks with the dog, go to local dog parks occasionally when they are empty & clean, & play fetch in our large, clean yard!

I'm available to keep your animals over night in my home up to two dogs and or two cats per day. I do have a pretty flexible schedule and aleast accept last minute drop offs. I prefer to do drop ins and can do up to three a day, depending on distance. I'm located in whiteside county, anything outside of that would have to charge extra for travel. It's not much, I'm a pretty fair person. :) I'm currently not doing over nights in other peoples homes, however I may resume temporarily over the summer. My apologies. If you have any questions please ask!!!! I have a large yard for dogs to run around in and I live in a wonderful area. The whole community is Very dog friendly we even have a dog park on the other side of the block.
