About: I love dogs and have enjoyed working with them in many capacities since I was a child and formally for over 15 years. I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have spent years training loving companions. I am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and undergo annual recertifications to stay current on the latest first-aid procedures. I also have experience administering both oral medications and injections. Before your pups stay, we have each family fill out a form for their furry companion. This helps us get to know them better in order to make their stay easier. I have no breed preference and are familiar with handling working canines.  Your pup is welcome in our home, and our couch is open to your furry pooch.  However, I also understand there are dogs who prefer to be outside and are not easily accommodated indoors. I also have covered outdoor runs for those families who still need a vacation but whose pups enjoy more fresh air and natural surroundings. I am happy to accommodate each family's preference. No matter what, canines are treated to lots of exercise and playtime. I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

I’m very comfortable with large breeds and active dogs, and I frequently host visits from the neighborhood pups, too. I’d love to help with quick check in to make sure water bowls are full and little walks or runs in the backyard as needed Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. At home, I use kennels appropriately to ensure structure and safety—especially during mealtimes or when dogs need space to decompress. I closely monitor interactions between pets and always follow your care instructions to make sure your animal feels secure, calm, and well cared for.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 13. I am relied upon by friends, family, coworkers to walk, feed, bathe and love on their fur babies while they are away. I am a full employee who works from7:20-4:30/7:45-5 during the week and 9-5 on the weekends at the NC Zoo. I have an hour lunch during the week so I can check on your fur baby, unfortunately on the weekends I do not have a break to be able to come love on them. About: I have animal shelter experience and as a result, have worked with several different types of animals with different personalities and am very flexible and capable of working with very different acting animals. I have a very open and free schedule so I'm able to come and check on the pets as often as needed. I can spend long periods of time with the pets when needed. In the clients home, I will care for them according to the clients standards and by following instructions down to the letter in order to prevent issues.

About: I've had animals most of my life from puppies to pound mutts and full blooded and senior dogs. I make sure to encourage play and positive training. I currently work from home so I spend lots of time with family pets, old roommate animals and friends pets. Lately it's been waking up to 3 small dogs my parents have. I make sure to follow any rules stated by the original owner. It can range from crate training, socialization, cleaning, walking or using the client's home.

About: I've had dogs all of my life aging from newborn puppies to 13 years old. I have trained multiple puppies basic commands like sit, come, speak, and lay down. I can also work on potty training or just play and love your dog. I currently stay at home with my 8 month old baby and the sweetest fur baby. I sometimes have to go to our chicken houses but I can crate your dog for at most an hour or they can venture out with me! I live back off the road on a chicken farm. We have a very long driveway I can take your dog for a walk on. Also, we have a big yard so they will have plenty of room to run and play. I do have the ability to crate your dog if need be.

About: My family has always had cats and dogs but we have also owned chickens and ducks. I trained all 3 of my dogs and have even had friends ask to help training their dog (basic obedience training). I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to spend with your babies. Monday and Tuesday I am always available. Wednesday and Thursday I am usually available all day if not, I am only available anytime before 3pm. Friday and Saturday I am available anytime before 3pm. I’m usually unavailable on Sundays When house-sitting I will regularly take them out in order to use the potty and make sure they always have fresh clean water. I’ll also make sure they are fed accordingly. When walking I will take them on long walks to ensure all your pups energy is being used. Lastly throughout the whole time I will provide lots and lots of love.

About: I have provided care for multiple dogs and I enjoy it! Neighbors and friends have counted on me to walk, feed, and play with their pets! I am currently working a summer job, and I am able to get three days off a week (or more if needed), so I would love to help! About: What sets me apart is most of my animals are rescues that I took in under my wing just like I would your fur baby while your away. I have three dogs and one cat and they are my whole world my day is better when i’m with my animals and I would love to be the one watching yours. About: I've always had a special place in my heart for dogs, my childhood dog was my best friend and she was treated as a human! Since I am about to graduate I have a lot of spare time and am available almost always! I don't have a job so your dog will be my main priority!! I am not available on Wednesdays around 10am-1pm, but any other time I am free! I will care for your pet like it is my very own, we will watch movies, go on walks, and spend some quality time together. We will become the bestest of friends!
