About: I have always loved being around animals, but due to my living circumstances and travel activities, owning a pet has become complicated. After retiring in 2022, I stumbled upon pet/house sitting as a means to satisfy my travel urge and my desire to be around animals. In the three years I have been house sitting, I have cared for dozens of family pets in cities all around the US. I have a part time job working a few hours just a couple of mornings a week at a YMCA. However, I have plenty of room in my schedule when I am not traveling. Rover makes it possible for me to satisfy the urge for animal companionship when I am in KC. I do not have the space or circumstances to allow me to care for other people's pets in my home. However, I am willing to travel to your home to care for your pet when you cannot do so yourself. If you need to be gone overnight, I am willing to come and offer your pet the companionship they need to feel comfortable and safe. Similarly, I am happy to do drop-ins to let them out, feed them, take them for walks, clean their litter boxes, etc. As mentioned, I have been actively involved in pet sitting on TrustedHouseSitters for the past three years and have many 5-star reviews for my efforts.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 15 years — from my own pets to those of family, friends, and coworkers. My heart has always been with animals, and this fall, I’ll be starting my own animal rescue. When your pet is in my care, you can trust they’ll be loved, nurtured, and spoiled! I am currently working a full time day job from 8-4pm Monday through Friday. However, I am available every day from 5-11pm! Weekends I am free from 4-11pm as well! My priority is always to understand your pet’s unique needs. I start by asking what your pet likes, dislikes, and if there’s anything specific you’d like me to do during my visit. While I’m there, I make sure they’re fed, have fresh water, and get a potty break before I leave. The rest of the visit is dedicated to enrichment—whether that’s playtime, snuggles, training, or exercise—so you come home to a happy, well-cared-for best friend.

“Brittany was able to help us last minute when we experienced a death in the family. We did not have any previous experience with her, but the fact that she had 2 Great Pyrenees and we have 2 huskies made us feel confident she would be comfortable around our dogs. Brittany initiated setting up our meet and greet and had great communication. She sent us daily pictures and videos of our dogs and updates. She also did extra stuff such as bringing in our mail and vacuuming/cleaning so the house would be clean upon our return. She spent a lot of time with the dogs during the day and I could tell from the pictures they looked happy and relaxed with her. About: I’ve been a pet owner most of life. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats. Every animal has value and should be treated with kindness! I have very open availability for this summer, so I’m flexible enough to do drop in visits, 1-3 day stays, and take the dogs out for walks and/or playtime through the weekdays and weekends! I am very observant of my surroundings. I like to keep an eye on dogs and cats for their own safety. I make sure animals are fed throughout the day and have plenty of water to drink. I like playing fetch with dogs because it’s fun for them, it gives them some exercise, and it naturally makes them want to lay inside after if they play for long enough!

About: I’ve taken care of every kind since last year. Me and my roommates started taking care of dogs last year with this app and we loved it. I am currently not taking classes or working , so I have plenty of time to spend on pet care to attend to the animals as much as possible! I am able to follow directions that are left from you for your pets! My apartment complex has a very large grassy area for your pet to run around and play and I can care for them as directed.

About: I’ve lived with dogs since the day I was born. Have had big golden retrievers all the way down to little yorkies. Not a day goes by without love for them. Currents just graduated high school so I’m free almost all the time. Holidays I will need time in advance to plan around my vacations with friends. Living with dogs, I can get them into crates and block of certain parts of the house with crates. I understand what they can and cannot eat, and how to take care of them.
