About: I have experience with dogs from any age and any breed and temperament. I am also knowledgeable on giving medication (both oral and via injection). In the summer, I work part-time during the days (anywhere from 9am to 5pm), however when my college classes start up in the fall, I have much more time to spend with your pets! Before each stay, for both my and your comfort, I tend to plan a meeting to get to know your animal and your space better! I find that in person meetings with pets before housesitting exponentially improves the quality of the experience for both me and your furry friend. Complicated instructions/"trouble" animals don't deter me, either. I will play, feed, walk, and clean up after your pet for as long as needed!
About: I’ve been watching my own dog for three years now, but he is back in California with family. I have lots of time on my hands and would love to watch other pups. I am free all week now that Summer has come around. Since I have so much free time, I would be more than willing and available to care for pups throughout the day. I prioritize pets and their health while they are with me. From going out constantly to take care of business, play out in the yard, or even just go on simple walks. About: My family got a dog while I was in high school, and I’ve been hooked since. My family’s first dog is 12 years old, and I currently have 4 dogs, all husky mixes. I work weekdays from 7 am - 5 pm. I am able to accommodate your pet before and after work as much as necessary. I am off on weekends. I currently work part time as a barista, but have my schedule set in a way that I never work more than 7 hours at a time, so I will always be able to check in on dogs at least three times a day. I keep my summer availability frequently updated, but I will also be moving back to Ames August 1st and therefore won’t be able to do Quad Cities jobs from then until December. When it comes to providing care in a client's home, I like to abide by the client's guidelines first and foremost. As for my personal preferences, I aim to provide all client pets with enriching playtime, as well as one to two walks a day in suitable weather. I ask you leave a note somewhere prominent (i.e. kitchen table or counter) with quick point reminders of food/water bowl locations, food locations, treats, and any special reminders such as medications w/ times. I will take time to get to know your pet, play with them if they like or pets, loves snuggles... It's really all about what your pet wants/needs from me! I will also have my 14 year old daughter along to help care for your pet(s). Between the two of us we can run your whole zoo if you'd like!! We can do walkies for pets that need a little extra excersize. Shopping trips to pet-friendly local areas/shops/parks if wanted/permissible!
