“super friendly & thorough! very knowledgeable with dogs & aware of dog needs. gave him some treats too, so bonus points :)”

About: I've been taking care of dogs for nine years, ever since my brother adopted a min pin. Since then, I have watched many dogs for family and friends. I have watched min pins, German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Labs, and several mixed breeds! I have trained two puppies in my life and both are very well behaved. I love animals! My husband and I currently work remotely which allows a lot of breaks, which will enable us to take care of pets during the day! We are flexible, and am willing to take on last minute engagements. We currently own a home with a huge backyard which allows for lots of play! We have good space inside as well for play and snuggles. We always make sure that the doggos have the exercise they need, whether that be a walk or running in the yard if available.

“She loves pups”

“Nicole watched our dog, Dakota, for the second time and I am so glad we went with her again. Nicole is amazing!! She is a great communicator, takes a lot of photos and is very reliable. I never have to worry about our dog while we our away. We will always go with Nicole for our dog sitter!”

“Jennifer had great communication and was always sure to send photos of the kitties during her visits. She was even able to get my shy kitties to come out for treats 🥰”

About: We just lost our beloved Pitbull of 10 years in December. While not ready to own a new dog, I would love to be around them! I’m very active and would love to take your dog for a nice long walk and give them all the pets and snuggles needed! I’m currently a stay at home mom and have a lot of time during the day to hang with your pet! I am typically home all day. We live on 5 acres but do not have a fence. Our dog was trained to stay in the yard. We have a long tie out for dogs if they do not stay in the yard.

“Alex was great! He handled our high energy dog very well. Millie was a happy girl when we got home! He followed our instructions and I felt very comfortable that Millie would be well taken care of on the drop in visit. Would definitely recommend Alex!”

About: Taken care of family and friends dogs throughout high school now post college. Now have my own dog and have been taking care of him since he was 8 weeks and is currently almost 2! I’m currently working on-call and have plenty of time on days I’m not working. My schedule is very open usually, and never bad thing for some extra cash. I have open yard with a small part fenced in. Have perfect spots for dogs to be crated if needed, otherwise love to cuddle since my dog doesn’t.

About: Hi there! My name is Jenna and while I’m home I would love to watch your pup. I am a foster parent for many different rescues in the area including Cocos Heart, Across America Boxer Rescue and Rejection Collection Boxer Rescue. I have fostered everything from 10 week old puppies (yes I have the chew marks on my couch to prove it) to the unforgettable seniors! My home is full of dog beds, treats and all the loving they could ever want. I have a privacy fenced in backyard and provide kennels as well for safe spaces too. I would love to cuddle your fur baby while you are away. I will be returning to the office here in January but I can offer a safe space via kennel or pen while I’m at work (no longer than 8 hours). I do have some hybrid days that I may be home to give extra cuddles. When I’m not working, I’m home. While home, treats, loves, pets, outside time are in the agenda. When I am not home safe space kennel time with soothing music until I return will play. My privacy fence covers 90% of my yard with a fenced gate covering the other 10%. Your fur baby will not be outside unattended however. I also have a boxer that if they get along they are welcomed to play together, however if they don’t get along no worries! Being a foster parent I know how to split my house and time between to babies. I also have cameras set up so I can keep an eye on the babies at all times. Your fur baby will be treated like royalty when they are staying here.

About: I've had pets (dogs of all sizes, cats, fish) since I was 7. I currently have a dog of my own. I've trained her. I am always happy to watch, play, feed, bathe, and walk dogs. I am a stay-at-home dog owner, which means taking care of your dog is my main priority! Doggy day care and boarding is always available. I usually accept all dogs. I only refuse service if the dog has previously bit me and/or continued aggression. I have one very friendly female dog (spayed) who loves to make new friends and spend time with old ones. I keep dogs typically in the living area, uncaged. I only cage dogs if the owner requests it, and in a different room from the other dogs. I do have another helper (my fiance), as he also enjoys dogs very much. My walking route is usually around Glen Park, I change it up as needed to boost the adventure for your dog(s). **Water will ALWAYS be available and replenished for your dog(s). Food schedule based.**

About: As a dedicated pet sitter, I provide loving and reliable care for your furry friends while you're away. Whether it's walking, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I ensure that your pets feel safe, happy, and well-loved in your absence. With a passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being, you can trust that your pets are in good hands. Let me take the stress out of your time away, so you can enjoy your trip knowing your pets are cared for! I am home from college for the summer and I have lots of availability and want to do something that I am passionate about . My dogs are very protective and don't get along with other animals so I am unable to take pets to my home to dog sit.

About: I've taken care of dogs of various breeds, sizes and ages for family, friends, and now people on Rover. I must say, I've met some pretty awesome dogs and people through Rover. I am retired, but clean a couple houses and a furniture store on a part-time basis. The longest I'm away is typically 4 to 5 hours on cleaning days. I don't have a dog of my own at this time. My Ella, sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in December of 2021. Crazy how your life totally changes when they are gone. I miss all my dogs more than anything and will some day have another dog or two. In the meantime, I get my dog fix by taking care of other people's dogs. I will provide exercise and companionship for your dog(s) as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to leave them when you want some time away. I will do my best to keep them on the schedule and routine they are used to.

About: I’ve always loved animals since I was a little kid. I have experience in animal care. I understand dog behavior and body language. At my previous job, I walked dogs individually and clean up any of their messes in their crates/rooms. I’m available Saturdays and Sundays. Dog walking is apart of my daily routine because I have a 1 year old German Shepherd. I would love to take your pooch out on a walk. I will clean up any messes your pet made while you were gone. Your pet will be in good hands and will be loved unconditionally❤️

About: My fur baby lived 15 years, so i have experience for any age. My fur baby required five eye medications everyday, as well as a pill after dinner. She was blind and gets up 2-3 times a night to go to the bathroom. Before she went blind and got cushing’s disease, we would go for walks/runs. I have watched 3 of my siblings fur babies multiple times from small to large sizes and my friends fur babies as well. I had to take care of my sisters dads dog for three months at my home. Feeding, brushing, exercising, medication, playing, and cuddling are all things I have done in the past! I am available after 4pm Monday through Thursday and I am available Fridays after 10:30am, Saturday and Sunday to be determined please reach out :) I will not leave your fur baby unsupervised I will be outside with your fur baby on potty breaks leashed and I will strictly follow dietary restrictions

“Very communicative. Very loving. Lots of great photos. 11/10!”

About: My mother breeds miniature Australian shepherds and I used to work with her for 10 years taking care of newborn, teenage, and adult dogs. I have done everything from training, bathing, giving medications, and plenty of animal loving! We would board all types of dogs big to small too. I grew up with many dogs in my household and know first hand how our animals are our children and how to care and make them feel so very loved. I am currently a flight attendant and my schedule varies month to month. The days that I am home I will be able and can send you my schedule a month in advance. I have a spacious apartment with a dog park attached as well as a wonderful walking trail to get your furry loved one the exercise they need. I do have a cat that keeps to himself but loves dogs. If you’re dog just wants the company I do allow dogs on my couch and bed. Have plenty of toys, water and food dish, and pee pee pads just in case.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 10 years old. Family, neighbors, and friends have always trusted me to do so. They bring extra happiness to my every day life! I have always said, we don’t deserve animals. I have a special place in my heart for them! I am looking to do this as an extra source of income to help provide for my family. This sounds like a great opportunity for me to make some income while doing something I love! I am flexible. I have two dogs, and two cats of my own! One is a border collie ( 5 years old) who loves to herd the cats around the house and stare at them. The other is a black lab (1.5 years old) who is a big teddy bear and doesn’t know his own size but, is a gentle giant. The two cats mind their own business but, come out for cuddles every so often. They definitely love their treats! We unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard but, we have dog leads that our dogs are able to be let out on. We also let them run free when we are out there with them. They love tossing the ball around and chasing after it! Having a friendly/safe neighborhood has made it very enjoyable for walks as well. Our home has hardwood floor throughout the main living areas so, it is easy for clean up if needed! We are animal friendly 🥰🐾

Marly J.
“Marly has taken wonderful care of both my childhood dog, Aussie—a cocker spaniel with some medical needs—and our golden retriever/Australian cattle dog mix, Miles, while our family was away on vacation. She is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely loving with our fur babies. Marly made sure Aussie received all of her medications and special care, giving us complete peace of mind. As for Miles, who has tons of energy, Marly went above and beyond—taking him on long walks and spending lots of time playing with him throughout the day to keep him happily exercised. Both Aussie and Miles absolutely light up when Marly visits. It’s clear they love and feel completely comfortable with her. We couldn’t ask for a better person to look after them!”

Jenna L.Star Sitter
“Jenna has been a dear friend for over a decade, she has been loving animals the entire time. I trust her watching my 4 human children, and if she can handle that, she can handle anything! She has so much experience with dogs, she would be a great fit for Rover. Her home is set up wonderfully for watching dogs and I know they would be treated incredibly well under her care. She has fostered so many different breeds and ages of dogs, I truly believe you would be lucky to have her watch one of your fury friends!”
