About: I have been taking care of friends and family’s dogs for years and simply can’t get enough. I am a currently university. While not at college I live with Baxter my yellow lab, and three cats Binx, Goose, and Milo. I work as a Veterinary Assistant during the summers.I have first hand experience with topical, oral, and aural medication as needed. I am currently a university student. I have the most availability on weekends. I’m available daily during weekdays in the morning and in the evening. I like to start slow especially with the more shy pets. From that point I may use treats or some time for slow sniffing. Once I’ve built a trust with your pet I find it helpful for the dog to watch you pass their leash to me as a passing or trust. For walks the dogs are always leashed. I offer both short and long walks and will match the pace that best suits your pet from slow sniffing filled walks to fast paced trots. I am available for both in home visits and overnight stays, feedings, bathroom breaks, and medication administration as needed.
About: Howdy!👋🏾 I’ve been around animals most of my life and genuinely love caring for them. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels from playful puppies to calm, senior dogs. I’ve helped care for pets for friends and family, including feeding, walking, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and giving lots of attention and affection. I follow routines closely, keep areas clean, and pay attention to details like feeding instructions, medications, and behavior cues. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and calm, I adjust my care to fit their needs so they feel at ease and happy. I’m a full time soldier🇱🇷🪖 so I work M-F, my availability is Friday and Weekends 24/7, but I am open to negotiating your needs and can be flexible. If you happen to need service into Monday or longer, I can possibly make something work I’d just need prior notification. Lastly, I’m available to service in the St. Louis/ Illinois surrounding areas within a 20 mile radius. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where your pet can relax and feel at home. I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat your space with the same respect and care as my own. I follow your pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable in their familiar environment. I provide feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and basic home care like bringing in packages or watering plants if requested. I always keep things tidy and send regular updates with photos so you feel confident your pet and home are in good hands.
“This was our first time working with Caroline. What a pleasure! Easy, to the point, great communication and care of Stella. Thank you for giving us the peace of mind she is in good hands. I definitely recommend her!”

About: When I was in first grade, I fancied myself a dog-trainer, and I helped a family friend "train" their rescue pup (we'll never know if I was actually helpful or not). Since then, I have loved love taking care of dogs, whether it's going for a walk around the block, teaching my own dog new tricks, or giving good belly rubs. Most of my experience comes from caring for my dog at home and petsitting for family and friends. I'm a grad student with a flexible schedule these days, so whether it's a lunch-time drop in, evening walk, or petsitting for the weekend, I'm happy to help out. I can provide petsitting/drop-in/walking care in your neighborhood, home, or wherever your pup is most comfortable. I would just ask that you let me know whatever makes your pup unique (reactivities, favorite foods, lovable quirks), so that I can take care of them as best I can.
“Phoebe was available for a very last minute booking and took great care of our dog! She communicated frequently and sent pictures. We will definitely book Phoebe for drop in visits again!”

“Miranda was fantastic! Took care of our cats for a few days when a last minute trip came up and sent updates and photos each day and was super reliable. Will definitely book again!”

“Lani took care of my two cats when I traveled to see my daughter. She was reliable and followed my instructions perfectly. Lani sent photo and text updates daily. I will definitely hire her again.”

About: I've had my dog Stella since she was 3 months old, and she's turning six now. I grew up always owning dogs and loving them, and I've never known a home where a dog wasn't part of it. I have experience with both big and small dogs, and Stella likes all shapes and sizes, and is kind to all the pups (and humans) she comes across. Stella and I enjoy having another dog around as company, as it lets me give some extra love, and gives Stella a friend that she gets to be a dog with :) While I do work a normal office job, I have a pretty flexible work schedule that allows me to not have to be in the office super early, to work from home some days, or not have to be in the office for extended periods of time. Weekends, I am home for most of the day, aside from the occasional errand. We live in an apartment and while we do not have a fenced in yard, our apartment is very pet friendly, with everyone in my building owning a pet. I live in the Clayton-Demun area, sandwiched between Forest Park and Concordia Park, so walks are great. We do at least 4 walks a day, and have been trying to get more exercise as Stella has been instructed she needs to get in shape :) Stella gets along with every single dog she comes across, and loves having extra friends around to hangout with. We frequently have play dates with my neighbors yorkie, and Stella plays appropriately with dogs of all sizes - it's honestly incredible to witness. I’m happy to let them roam free during the day if I'm gone, or if they need to be crated we have one as well. Furniture is at your discretion, but Stella typically does not get on it - becuase she sheds like crazy.
“Hayley was the first Rover sitter I’ve used to check in on my kitties. She communicated with me so well about my cats needs as well as sending many pics while she was there playing with them/ giving attention. I’d definitely recommend Hayley if you’re looking for a great and trustworthy pet sitter!”

About: I have 14 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently have cats of my own and previously had dogs, so I understand the unique needs, energy levels, and personalities of both. I offer dependable dog walks while you’re at work and attentive, loving care when you’re out of town. Your pets’ safety, comfort, and routine are my priority, and I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. I work from home and make my own schedule, which allows me to be very flexible and consistent with pet care. Because of that, I’m able to fit walks, drop-ins, and extended visits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I’ve also worked remotely from clients’ homes in the past, so if your pet needs extra attention while you’re out of town, I can spend extended time there while still handling my work responsibilities. This flexibility allows me to prioritize your pet’s routine, exercise, and comfort without feeling rushed. At this time, I do not bring pets into my own home. All care is provided in my client’s home so your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your specific instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any household routines. I make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while keeping their environment clean and secure. My goal is to minimize stress and make your time away as smooth as possible for both you and your pet.

“Kyani is such the tentative, meticulous, and most exceptional communicator. I’ll definitely be booking again in advance. Grateful for her today.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have always loved stepping up to take care of them. Even as a child, I loved taking our family pug Olivia on walks and feeding her breakfast and dinner. I worked for a summer as a dog walker in Chicago, working with clients whose dogs had a variety of routines. Some pups had very specific routes that they needed to go on for their walks, and some needed to be trained to stop at crosswalks or walk on a specific side of the sidewalk. Now I'm a med student who loves to explore the city and all the beautiful outdoor spaces we have in St. Louis. I have had a lot of experience with all different kinds of dogs, and I can't wait to get to know your fur baby! My school schedule changes by the week, but I am pretty reliably free from noon to 1pm during the week. Besides Wednesday afternoons, I have lots of free time during regular working hours to take your pet on a walk or check in on them at home, and I am also free during the day all weekend besides Sunday mornings. I have experience with all different personalities of dogs, including dogs like rescues who don't always like strangers or don't react well to different training techniques. I will always respect your dog's boundaries with physical touch/space, volume levels, eye contact, play time, and anything else that they are sensitive to.
“Amazing I really trusted my pet with her and my cat has some special care needed. Very communicative and helpful. Went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend”

“Mia really went above and beyond to make sure my fur babies were well cared for and sent me lots of videos, photos, and positive commentaries on how they were doing. I will definitely be booking Mia for all my petsitting needs!”

“Megan is amazing! She was very accommodating and flexible! Fast response time and my dog Ruby loves her! I would highly recommend Megan and we will definately be having her over again!”

Hamilton Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Hannah is the best! She responded to my booking in a timely manner and sent updated pictures of Benji every visit. My pup is super energetic and at times a bit roudy, she had no issues accomodating. I also had an issue on return where I was unable to communicate because of my phone was broken. Hannah did a great job finishing the booking and I was able to return and access my loft.

Violet was great! She did everything I asked her too do and some more. While I told her to just put the dirty cat food plates in the sink, she also washed them. She also took out the trash with the cat litter. I can tell my cats enjoyed their time with her in the daily pictures she sent me. I would book her again.

When booking with Nicole it was my first experience using Rover. With that being said, I was a bit nervous leaving my cat. Nicole made it very easy to book with her. We did an initial meet-and-greet and I knew that I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cat. While I was away, Nicole exceeded my expectations. She was extremely communicative, on time, flexible, and most importantly, she is trustworthy. I received multiple messages and photos during and after her visits, and she was always there if I needed anything. My cat LOVES Nicole. I had such a wonderful experience with this booking/sitting and I couldn’t be more thankful. Thank you so much Nicole!

Renee did a perfect job! Did all of the tasks I asked her to do and some more. She swept up some cat litter+washed the dishes the cats were eating wet food off of. I have awkward cats but she she didn't give up on trying to get along with them. Would book again.
