About: I love all animals no matter the breed, age, size, or medical history. I’m always thrilled to meet another 4 legged (or 2/3 legged) friend and get to know their unique personalities. I’ve been around animals my whole life and couldn’t have imagined it any other way. I’m fortunate to have been raised with labs, a schnauzer, many cats, and other various animals. I’m home for a few months finding side gigs (like caring for your furry friend) and raising money for my nonprofit currently operating in West Africa. My schedule is very flexible - weekdays, weekends, holidays (usually), late nights, early mornings, whenever! I occasionally visit friends in North Idaho, so feel free to reach out to know if my availability is up to date :) I have one little grayed schnauzer at home (Thursdays - Sundays) who gets along with other dogs very well. She pretty much stays in her own little corner anymore but sometimes sparks a bit of play with others. I take her on leash outside on walks and to nearby parks (if she can make it). I’m big on giving treats but always follows the owner’s preferences and instructions. Each animal has their own needs and I do my best to provide for them however I can.

6. Victoria J.

“Victoria was a wonderful sitter for our three Dalmatians and one Cheetoh cat. She came by to meet our menagerie before hand and the dogs loved her. While we were away she communicated often with pet updates, pictures, and questions about care. We have multiple animals with special diets and medications and they were attended to with expert care.”

7. Emily M.
About: Throughout my personal and professional life I've cared for a variety of animals. Professionally, I have worked with horses, dogs, and cats. Personally, I have trained my own animals in house training as well as obedience training and anxiety training. I'm open to discussing opportunities where extended stays are desired as well as opportunities that involve large or young animals. In both of these areas, I have learned how to care for young animals, senior animals, and animals with special needs. If this sounds like a good fit and you're interested in discussing my services - I'm one click away and eager to chat! Currently, I'm in between my seasonal work, which offers me a ton of flexibility. Though I work Thursdays and Fridays, I'm still able to walk and sit in the mornings and evenings on those days. Aside from Thursdays and Fridays, I have a lot of availability at this time! When watching your animal at your home, I will ensure that all guidance and rules are followed: baby gates, shut doors, crate training, etc. I love snuggling with animals at night. So, that will be free of charge, as long as that is not conflicting with the animals' training. 🙂

8. Linda M.
“Hello, I am Denise Houchens and I have an 8m.o. male Cream retriever. He weighs 1/2 amount of Linda. This "puppy" had possibly of knocking her down and potentially hurting some one. 18. Hannah H.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I’ve taken care of relatives’ dogs, cats, chickens, etc while they were away. I have experience with pigs, horses, and ducks. I have interned with a large and small animal veterinary hospital for several months. I’m comfortable around just about any animal as long as they’re friendly! I’m very active and would be up for hikes and runs with your furry friends. If I’m given clear instructions, I will follow them exactly and care for your animal. I take pet lives seriously and will care for any pet like my own. My work schedule changes quite often. I try to be as flexible as I can though. Send me a message, and I’m sure we can figure something out! I think everyone has their own system for how they care for their pets so if I’m given a list of criteria that would be perfect. That way the owner is happy and both parties know exactly what needs to be done for the animals and there is no confusion.

19. Kacee D.

“Kacee did a great job watching my dog! They had such a good time. Thanks for your help!”

20. Laura B.
About: I am very attentive and very loving. I would treat your pet like family and like royalty. You’re pet deserves the best and you deserve the comfort of knowing your pet is being cared for. I would be fitting this in with my other jobs, and intend to work 20 hours or so with this company. This would be a good fit for me to add I would prefer to go to clients home as I don’t have a big enough space for pets at my home. Plus it would help pets feel more comfort being at home.
