About: I'm currently dog mom to a sweet 3-legged Dachshund mix rescue named Penny and have rescued many cats and dogs as pets since I was a child. In my personal pet parent experience, I've cared for a senior dog with cancer, dealt with multiple emergency room vet visits for cats and dogs, nursed back to health a 20 year old Cornish Rex that had an infection-turned-abscess in her mouth, lost another cat to a sudden heart attack, and helped an outdoor pet cat survive multiple life threats, including being hit by a car. In short, I've coped with a lot of challenging pet-related emergencies, special needs, and losses, which means I understand how important reliable, responsible, loving care is to other pet parents. I've enjoyed pet and house sitting for dogs and cats of all ages over the last three years across Tampa, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Los Angeles, and would love to spend more of my time caring for pets. About: Hello everyone, my name is Kara. I am a mother of 4 people babies and 3 fur babies. I am currently a vet tech student attending classes all online. I have been watching family and friends pets since I was about 10. I will care for your babies as if they were my own. Being a vet tech, your fur babies will be safe and sound with me. I am very good under pressure due to being a soldiers wife. I am a confident dog walker and like to go different routes as to keep the dogs simulated and not bored. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. I am also available for large animals if needed. I am very comfortable around all large animals. I am a stay at home mom so I am typically available to be home everyday. I have a flexible schedule and am not gone for more than a few hours at a time if I can help it. While my yard is not fenced at the moment I have a ton of space for them to run. If their recall needs work, I hand walk and/or a tie out (never for more than 2 hours at a time) that is next to the doggy pool under a large oak tree.

I am currently on my summer before college and have some free time before I go, and I love to meet new animals every day. I do have a fenced in yard for my own animals so they can play and do what they want while being safe. I do not prefer fenced in yard versus walking on a leash because I feel there are benefits to both!
