About: I have taken care of dogs since around age 11, having households pets since then. Also have cared for other family members and friends dogs when they are out of town. I am looking to work part or full time with dogs or cats. I have a flexible schedule and am able to make last minute changes if needed. At home we have a fenced yard as well as taking the dogs on walks. For friends and family members I take them on walks as well as staying in the home to play with them.

About: Having a dog or any animal in your life is a blessing and should be cherished. Throughout my years animals have saved my life and kept me company through the good and bad times. I currently don’t have my own dog anymore, she went to dogo heaven a couple years ago so now I’m taking the liberty to take care of others. I moved here a 2 1/2 years ago for work saying goodbye to my extended Rover fam in Cali. I have A-LOT of experience working with pets and owners on and off Rover. You can see a few adventures/fun moments with them in my photos! 🐾🤙🏼🌺 I’m excited to meet you and your fur babies. Mahalo <3 I work on the west side in hospitality management and live Paia. I volunteer at the Hawai’i wildlife fund, my schedule is moving and changing, so good planning is key 🔑 everything works out how it should 🤙🏼 If I end up guarding headquarters I’ll take care of your home and ensure your pet is safe. With this unique, job, it’s not only about taking care of your pets but ensuring your home is safe and looked after by a trustworthy experienced individual. I’m very serious about dog safety and dog etiquette. I’m currently pursuing professional dog training and am ALWAYS aware of possible risks in the area.

About: My name is Emiko, I’ve been living on Maui for awhile now but new to Rover. I have a spaniel mix pup named Zephyr (after the wind in The Odyssey bc he runs like the wind), and grew up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I love animals and the healing energies they bring in their personalities and just love how funny they are. Getting a dog has been one of the most healing things in my life, he is literally my best friend, baby and side kick and I understand finding someone who will take the upmost care for your pet is a crucial decision. Especially if they come with baggage or little quirks (Zephyr is a rescue) or they need extra care like medication, etc. I will take care of your pets like they’re my own—feeding, walking, playing, following any other additional instructions and giving them lots of love to feel safe and happy 🤍 I work from home with flexible hours and make my own schedule so I can cater to all your needs for your pet and their schedule Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow instructions closely, keep a clean and calm environment, and make sure your pet feels secure and loved at all times. I’m attentive to their body language and needs, and I never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. Whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home, I’ll treat your pet like family—with patience, care, and lots of affection. You can trust that they’re in safe, reliable hands with me.

“Fantastic! I was so happy to have found Emily to house sit and watch my cat for me. She was incredibly helpful and reached out when my unit ended up flooding so I can quickly get it handled by our property manager. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Bea dropped in on my cat Lacey for a couple of days while I was out of town. She was excellent! I appreciated the photos and updates after each visit. I recommend her and would rebook in the future. :)”

About: For my kindergarten career day I showed up as a vet. After that, I became the kid in the house that would constantly be "adopting" new animals. It goes without saying that I've always been an animal lover. This led me to study and graduate with a bachelors in animal science. Throughout my bachelors I was a foster parent for my university's pre veterinary and pet rescue group. During this time I fostered dozens of pets (cats and dogs). After graduating I developed an entered in conservation and my career path shifted to the study of wildlife conservation. However I worked for 3 years as a veterinary technician while I continued to pursue my career in conservation. Two of these years were at a pet veterinary clinic and one year was as a wildlife rehabilitation of migratory birds. Right now I have beautiful 3 year old tabby cat who is not a queen but a "Khaleesi". However I thought I'd share the love since she's so spoiled. I know that even with my academic and professional experience I'm more than prepared but as a pet parent myself and a veterinary technician I understand that no matter how safe they are, we still worry. So why choose me? My intention is to be someone relatable, dependable and approachable to my clients. The goal is to make you as a pet parent and your pet as comfortable as possible. Hope to hear from you and feel free to reach out with any questions! I'm currently employed by the Maui Humane Society and will only offer my services as long as it doesn't conflict with working hours. Meaning that if I accept your request, your pet will have all of my time and attention. Open to house sitting during work days as long as we agree on everything and both parties are on the same page. At your location I will adhere to any requests or methods you have as long as it's a safe environment. At my location your pet will be under my care and sometimes interact with my partner who is also a veterinary technician. My 3 year old female cat (Khaleesi) lives with me on and off. She's and inside cat that goes on walks, has outside monitored time and is very pampered overall. All vaccines up to date, takes flea prevention monthly and is spayed. Whether you're open to our pets playing together and/or sharing space is up to you. Khaleesi is used to other pets both dogs and cats. They can be separated and sometimes will be regardless since just like people some animals just aren't meant to get along. All of these things will be discussed before on you agreeing on my services. The point is for you to feel comfortable.

“Kate is great at communications. The cat we primarily wanted an in-home sitter for took to her right away which definitely makes it more likely we'll be choosing Kate again when the need occurs. As for how she took care of the house, if it wasn't for the pics of the cats, I wouldn't even have known she was here. She left the house in perfect condition.”

Whether your pet is playful or shy, I take the time to understand their unique personality and needs so they feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is to keep tails wagging and hearts happy! Pet care fits perfectly into my flexible routine. I work from home part-time, so I’m available for quality time, walks, and consistent companionship throughout the day. In my home, your pet can enjoy a calm space with my friendly cat, a large lawn for play, and easy access to a nearby dog park for daily walks. About: Hello everyone! My name is Anna. I have a 2 year old border collie mixed dog. I love all animals and believe they deserve to have the best life possible. With that, includes finding someone you can really trust to care for your sweet animals. Ever since I was a little girl, I made it my mission to care for any animal I see in need. This has included taking in stray cats, finding owners for lost cats/dogs, and rehabilitating birds/mice/bunnies. I grew up with cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, fish, and hedgehogs. I feel confident and comfortable to give all those animals the best care possible. I am currently in the process of becoming a dog trainer and am very knowledgeable when it comes to all things dogs. I understand their body language, mental stimulation needs, physical needs, etc. I know it can be hard to find someone you truly trust to watch your animals, and that’s why I would love to meet with you guys beforehand so you can feel more comfortable with me caring for them! I have a lot of experience with resource guarding, and all types of reactive dogs. I feel confident in my abilities to handle them and help them feel safe. You can expect me to do some light engagement work activities while caring for your dog/dogs if requested. You can expect to receive a lot of pictures 😉 We adopted our sweet boy from a shelter 10 months ago. He was very fearful reactive and scared of the world. With the work and training I have put in to give him the best life possible, he can now enjoy our walks without reacting and be entirely off leash. If you are interested in some dog training, message me and we can work something out. I am charging a cheaper rate currently to get experience 😊 Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to getting to know you! Message me if you have any further questions. Animals are my life! I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be home all day. I exercise my dog every morning anywhere between 8-11am. I’m more than happy to bring along your dog if they are dog friendly. This is my career, but more so the thing that brings me the most joy. I am here to help and work around any schedule requests. In my own home, my dog will get 1-2 hours of exercise every single day, rain or shine. He gets all the mental stimulation he needs with the puzzles/training/and games we play with him. We do not have a yard, but our dog gets all his needs met without it. He loves sleeping in the bed right in between my husband and I and is spoiled with scratches. We love hiking, swimming, running, and walking together. You can expect the same amazing care for your animals. I will provide a safe, loving, and caring environment for your animals. I will treat them as if they were my own. I truly love working with animals and am happiest when I’m caring for them.
