About: Hello, my name is Anna, and I’m a dedicated and experienced dog caregiver with a lifelong passion for animals. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of owning and caring for three wonderful dogs—a Bichon Frise, a Lab mix, and a Pitbull—each of whom taught me something unique about loyalty, love, and responsibility. My Experience I have hands-on experience managing all aspects of dog ownership, including training, daily walks, vet appointments, and all related care expenses. I'm comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes and am confident handling multiple dogs at once. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a gentle senior, I tailor my care to each dog’s individual needs. I work full-time, but pet care is a meaningful part of my life and something I make time for. I’m available for evening walks, weekend dog sitting, and flexible drop-ins. Caring for animals brings me joy, and I always ensure they get the attention and love they deserve, no matter how busy life gets. In my home, pets stay in a safe, clean, and loving environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I follow their usual routine to help them feel at ease. In a client’s home, I respect your space and stick to your pet’s schedule—feeding, walking, and giving them the love and attention they’re used to. Wherever your pet is, I care for them like they’re my own.

“Today was my first time using rover. Violet was my first walker. She showed up on time and respected our home. She was patient getting to know my dog and showed him kindness. I appreciate her taking care of my doggie while i was at work. Will def do it again.”

About: Hi there! My name is Paige, and I’ve never known a life without dogs. Since I was around 6, I’ve been helping out around the house with pet-related chores. My passion and love for animals has shaped me as a human being, and I can’t wait to give your furry best friend all my love. :) I currently work part time, leaving me with lots of free time to care for your furry friend! No need to worry about me cancelling last minute! Ever since I was born, there has been a dog in the house. I was taught at a young age to care for and unconditionally love animals. Your pets safety is of utmost importance to me. When I am taking care of your pet I am alert, aware, and focused.

About: My name is Nicole and I'm 24 years old. I have about 15 years of experience with caring for dogs. My mother is a professional dog breeder who raised me with 5 or more dogs around at all times since I was the age of 3. Therefore, I have been caring for dogs since I was a very young girl and truly know all of the ins and outs of anything dog related. I have also worked at a doggy daycare a few years back, which gave me more experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have proficient experience in training, grooming, giving medications, walking and generally caring for dogs of all breeds. I currently live in a pet friendly studio apartment in downtown Charleston. There is much room for dog boarding of any size. I wholeheartedly have lots of fun while looking after dogs of all kinds, and it is my priority to keep your fur baby safe, happy and healthy! I am looking forward to connecting with you! 🦴🐶🐾 I am currently a part time student, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pup! I am available on weekdays anytime after two and anytimei on the weekends. I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly 10 year old chihuahua to keep your pup company. I also can easily crate your dog if needed!

“Kelsey was so patient and amazing with my pup. Kaya is super friendly but has never had someone new come into the house when we weren’t home and let her out of the crate so she was a little defensive and skeptical at first. Kelsey gave her treats and was calm with her while being barked at. Kaya warmed up to her after a few mins and went on a great walk around our neighborhood! Thanks again Kelsey, we appreciate you!”

About: Hello there! I, like many college kids, had a tough time during covid. Luckily, my roommate brought his perfect little puppy to school! He was training to be a CCI dog and honestly kept me sane. We would go on hikes, walks to the park, and say hello to anyone passing by. He became a bit of a local figure by the time he was turned in, well known for being such a sweet boy. I miss him every day and would love to go on adventures with puppies (of all ages) again!! I am unemployed as of right now. I will have all the time in the world to take your dog wherever they want and bring them back very happy and sleepy. I currently live directly inside a park (Wawapek preserve) and will be able to run them all around there. I love to jog so if a pup is feeling extra crazy we can run together! I am not comfortable with off leash dogs so we will remain on leash unless inside an obviously fenced in area. I also want to avoid dog parks with more than one or two other dogs present, as to mitigate any risk of problems happening. I will abide by any rules (crates, no sitting on furniture, etc) that the owner sets other than shock or prong collars. I haven't been taught how to handle dogs with those types so I don't think that would be the best fit. Besides that, I'll run that pup all around!

About: I have many years of pet care experience with dogs and cats. I've raised puppies and also taken care of senior dogs including my own dog, Scarlet. Currently retired so flexible as far as availability. Am a morning person so I can do early appointments. Nights also not a problem if needed. I would like to care for your pet in your home environment as that would be the least stressful option available to care for your pet.

About: Looking to give some animals near me lots of love and care while I continue schooling post college graduation! I’ve been pet setting since my freshman year of high school and have had dogs at home my whole life that I take care of:) Have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and have done drop ins for cats. My schedule is very flexible as I am doing school from home- reach out if it says I am unavailable a certain day and we can work something out, I will work around my schedule to be there, preferably with some notice to ensure that I am available. I can do occasional drop ins/walks when needed or on a set schedule, or stay at your house for a longer period of time during the day ( if it is not the full day we can discuss a price drop) I can gladly feed pets / give meds if needed and simply just play with them at home if they need some interaction or take on walks. I currently have a puppy at home and we go on lots of walks and I make sure to stay interacting with him as a part of his training so that I always have his attention on the leash.

Please reach out if you are in need of a sitter for either day care or a trip away. As I am at home for the majority of the day, I am able to be very flexible to meet your needs. We can discuss these needs at our meet and greet. I have a spacious house and large fenced in back yard, our house is situated in a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. I live with my husband, 18 year old son and very friendly black Labrador. Your puppy will have both human and doggy company.

About: I have always had a love for animals. I have been a part of animal rescue since I was a teenager. I previously worked for north shore animal league America and still volunteer with them. I am patient and understanding with each animal I care for. I am very flexible with my schedule. Monday is the one day I would need to come later. Daily or weekly is perfectly fine with me I would be going to a clients home. I would make sure to get to know my clients and their routines. Routine is important for pets so it is important to not disrupt the routine and the flow. I work Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday 9a-3p. My availability consisted of evenings during those days and full availability on my off days. Flexible with time frame on days off from current job. When letting pets outside fence or not they would be supervised. Keeping appropriate toys around as well as feeding following any diet restrictions. Following their routine and not going beyond their comfort.

About: I have been an animal lover since childhood, but dogs hold a special place in my heart! I have helped raise 2 golden retrievers from puppyhood to adulthood, and care for a family cat as well. Throughout the last 5 years I have helped dog-sit and dog walk. Your furry friend will keep me company as I navigate this big city, I know we'll become instant best friends! I do not have an office job, so I can also be at home with your pet as needed. While I do not accept pets in my home due to having my own nervous cats, I am happy to provide reliable and responsible care in your home. Your home and furry friends will be in excellent hands.

Donovan H.
“Don paid very special attention to my directions about our bunny, Onion. Onion has a history of gastrointestinal issues so when I stressed the importance of Onion's diet and routine, He was on it. To alleviate my concerns, he texted me photos when he was feeding Onion. He scatter fed just as I had asked. He took special care to measure out his hay and pellets. When we got home, Onion was even splayed out on the floor with his eyes almost closed. That is a great deal of trust for a bunny to do that. Don cares a lot about his work and seeing Onion feel safe around him as an animal of prey was really touching.”

Halesite dog parents share their Rover experiences
Suzanne was very punctual with our walks. She was also very accommodating when we had to add a second dog to the walk at the last moment. She was communicative with her posts of our dogs during her walks. Also she let us know that our corgi had acted up and made a little bit of a mess, so we knew what to expect when we got home. Would recommend her to others that need a good dog walker
