About: Having a dog or any animal in your life is a blessing and should be cherished. Throughout my years animals have saved my life and kept me company through the good and bad times. I currently don’t have my own dog anymore, she went to dogo heaven a couple years ago so now I’m taking the liberty to take care of others. I moved here a 2 1/2 years ago for work saying goodbye to my extended Rover fam in Cali. I have A-LOT of experience working with pets and owners on and off Rover. About: I have taken care of dogs since around age 11, having households pets since then. Also have cared for other family members and friends dogs when they are out of town. I am looking to work part or full time with dogs or cats. I have a flexible schedule and am able to make last minute changes if needed. At home we have a fenced yard as well as taking the dogs on walks. For friends and family members I take them on walks as well as staying in the home to play with them.

About: For my kindergarten career day I showed up as a vet. After that, I became the kid in the house that would constantly be "adopting" new animals. It goes without saying that I've always been an animal lover. This led me to study and graduate with a bachelors in animal science. Throughout my bachelors I was a foster parent for my university's pre veterinary and pet rescue group. During this time I fostered dozens of pets (cats and dogs). After graduating I developed an entered in conservation and my career path shifted to the study of wildlife conservation. However I worked for 3 years as a veterinary technician while I continued to pursue my career in conservation. Two of these years were at a pet veterinary clinic and one year was as a wildlife rehabilitation of migratory birds. Right now I have beautiful 3 year old tabby cat who is not a queen but a "Khaleesi". However I thought I'd share the love since she's so spoiled. I know that even with my academic and professional experience I'm more than prepared but as a pet parent myself and a veterinary technician I understand that no matter how safe they are, we still worry. So why choose me? My intention is to be someone relatable, dependable and approachable to my clients. The goal is to make you as a pet parent and your pet as comfortable as possible. I'm currently employed by the Maui Humane Society and will only offer my services as long as it doesn't conflict with working hours. Meaning that if I accept your request, your pet will have all of my time and attention. Open to house sitting during work days as long as we agree on everything and both parties are on the same page. At your location I will adhere to any requests or methods you have as long as it's a safe environment. At my location your pet will be under my care and sometimes interact with my partner who is also a veterinary technician. My 3 year old female cat (Khaleesi) lives with me on and off. She's and inside cat that goes on walks, has outside monitored time and is very pampered overall. All vaccines up to date, takes flea prevention monthly and is spayed. Whether you're open to our pets playing together and/or sharing space is up to you. Khaleesi is used to other pets both dogs and cats. They can be separated and sometimes will be regardless since just like people some animals just aren't meant to get along. All of these things will be discussed before on you agreeing on my services. The point is for you to feel comfortable.

About: Aloha, my name is Līhaumaikalani! Līhau (lee-how) for short (: I am a stay-at-home mom to a rambunctious little boy and an animal lover since birth. I was that tiny little girl who would bring home really big “scary” dogs to my parents in hopes that I could keep them. My parents were a little concerned to say the least! Although I’ve only had cats all my life, I’m a dog lover too. I used to work at the Maui Humane Society where I fulfilled my dog mom dream. I’m great with big dogs and small dogs. Size really doesn’t matter. Breed definitely doesn’t matter. I love em all <3 I’ve also had experience working with dogs who had behavioral issues as well as ex-hunting dogs. The brindle, Kama, who’s standing up against me used to be a hunting dog believe it or not! I’ve cared for all sorts of dogs and cats that at this point, I want to be around even MORE dogs and cats. I have experience with orally administering meds. I’m great with giving pets a bath, yes, even your cat too (; I can scoop their poop, give them cuddles, clip their nails, and love them as if I were their human too. Bring em on! Meet & greets are extremely important to me so that I get to know you and your pets needs prior to booking a service, as well as seeing if I’m a good fit for your furbaby. Depending on which service you choose, I would also like you to meet my family so that you are comfortable not with just myself, but anyone who will be around your pet as well. I have an 2 year old son and my better half. You and your pets comfortability is one of my top priorities, so getting to know each other is crucial to me.
