“I don't think we could've left our kitty in better hands than Shanelle when we headed out of town for the holidays. She was kind, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to ensure Hayley was comfortable and well taken care of. Her level of communication and reliability was great and very appreciated. Her photos and reports were thorough and did a great job documenting Hayley's activities and care. We will definitely be using Shanelle again.”

“For never meeting Koda prior to these visits, she did amazingly well. She was so calm when she introduced herself. Koda is selective and he took her quickly. It seems she has common sense and intuitiveness with dogs. She followed all the instructions, kept in touch and sent pictures. Koda seemed very relaxed when we came home. We will definitely use Cora again!!”

About: Having a dog or any animal in your life is a blessing and should be cherished. Throughout my years animals have saved my life and kept me company through the good and bad times. I currently don’t have my own dog anymore, she went to dogo heaven a couple years ago so now I’m taking the liberty to take care of others. “Fantastic! I was so happy to have found Emily to house sit and watch my cat for me. She was incredibly helpful and reached out when my unit ended up flooding so I can quickly get it handled by our property manager. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Kate is great at communications. The cat we primarily wanted an in-home sitter for took to her right away which definitely makes it more likely we'll be choosing Kate again when the need occurs. As for how she took care of the house, if it wasn't for the pics of the cats, I wouldn't even have known she was here. She left the house in perfect condition.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since around age 11, having households pets since then. Also have cared for other family members and friends dogs when they are out of town. I am looking to work part or full time with dogs or cats. I have a flexible schedule and am able to make last minute changes if needed. At home we have a fenced yard as well as taking the dogs on walks. For friends and family members I take them on walks as well as staying in the home to play with them.

“Bea dropped in on my cat Lacey for a couple of days while I was out of town. She was excellent! I appreciated the photos and updates after each visit. I recommend her and would rebook in the future. :)”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who’s always had two dogs at home and a soft spot for all furry friends. I’ve cared for pets while their families—many of whom I’ve also nannied for—were away on vacation. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I’m confident and comfortable with all dogs and cats. I also have experience with high-energy pups and administering medication. I’d love to give your pets the same care and attention you would while you're away! I'm currently not working, so I have plenty of availability for frequent visits, walks, and potty breaks. Walks are already part of my daily routine, and I'd love to have some furry company along the way! I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved—whether I’m caring for them in my home or theirs. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. In your home, I make sure to respect your space and keep things tidy. If caring for pets in my home, I create a calm and cozy environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and cuddles. My goal is to keep your pet happy and stress-free while you're away!

About: What sets me apart is the heart I put into every visit. While I’m not a professional trainer, I offer a fun, loving, and calm environment where pets feel safe, seen, and truly cared for. I treat every animal like my own — with patience, play, and lots of affection. Whether your pet is playful or shy, I take the time to understand their unique personality and needs so they feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is to keep tails wagging and hearts happy! Pet care fits perfectly into my flexible routine. I work from home part-time, so I’m available for quality time, walks, and consistent companionship throughout the day. In my home, your pet can enjoy a calm space with my friendly cat, a large lawn for play, and easy access to a nearby dog park for daily walks. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, keeping things familiar, stress-free, and full of love, playtime, and gentle care.

About: For my kindergarten career day I showed up as a vet. After that, I became the kid in the house that would constantly be "adopting" new animals. It goes without saying that I've always been an animal lover. This led me to study and graduate with a bachelors in animal science. Throughout my bachelors I was a foster parent for my university's pre veterinary and pet rescue group. During this time I fostered dozens of pets (cats and dogs). After graduating I developed an entered in conservation and my career path shifted to the study of wildlife conservation. However I worked for 3 years as a veterinary technician while I continued to pursue my career in conservation. Two of these years were at a pet veterinary clinic and one year was as a wildlife rehabilitation of migratory birds. Right now I have beautiful 3 year old tabby cat who is not a queen but a "Khaleesi". However I thought I'd share the love since she's so spoiled. I know that even with my academic and professional experience I'm more than prepared but as a pet parent myself and a veterinary technician I understand that no matter how safe they are, we still worry. So why choose me? My intention is to be someone relatable, dependable and approachable to my clients. The goal is to make you as a pet parent and your pet as comfortable as possible. Hope to hear from you and feel free to reach out with any questions! I'm currently employed by the Maui Humane Society and will only offer my services as long as it doesn't conflict with working hours. Meaning that if I accept your request, your pet will have all of my time and attention. Open to house sitting during work days as long as we agree on everything and both parties are on the same page. At your location I will adhere to any requests or methods you have as long as it's a safe environment. At my location your pet will be under my care and sometimes interact with my partner who is also a veterinary technician. My 3 year old female cat (Khaleesi) lives with me on and off. She's and inside cat that goes on walks, has outside monitored time and is very pampered overall. All vaccines up to date, takes flea prevention monthly and is spayed. Whether you're open to our pets playing together and/or sharing space is up to you. Khaleesi is used to other pets both dogs and cats. They can be separated and sometimes will be regardless since just like people some animals just aren't meant to get along. All of these things will be discussed before on you agreeing on my services. The point is for you to feel comfortable.

About: Aloha, my name is Līhaumaikalani! Līhau (lee-how) for short (: I am a stay-at-home mom to a rambunctious little boy and an animal lover since birth. I was that tiny little girl who would bring home really big “scary” dogs to my parents in hopes that I could keep them. My parents were a little concerned to say the least! Although I’ve only had cats all my life, I’m a dog lover too. I used to work at the Maui Humane Society where I fulfilled my dog mom dream. I’m great with big dogs and small dogs. Size really doesn’t matter. Breed definitely doesn’t matter. I love em all <3 I’ve also had experience working with dogs who had behavioral issues as well as ex-hunting dogs. The brindle, Kama, who’s standing up against me used to be a hunting dog believe it or not! I’ve cared for all sorts of dogs and cats that at this point, I want to be around even MORE dogs and cats. I have experience with orally administering meds. I’m great with giving pets a bath, yes, even your cat too (; I can scoop their poop, give them cuddles, clip their nails, and love them as if I were their human too. Bring em on! Meet & greets are extremely important to me so that I get to know you and your pets needs prior to booking a service, as well as seeing if I’m a good fit for your furbaby. Depending on which service you choose, I would also like you to meet my family so that you are comfortable not with just myself, but anyone who will be around your pet as well. I have an 2 year old son and my better half. You and your pets comfortability is one of my top priorities, so getting to know each other is crucial to me. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns, and I’ll get back to you within 24hrs. We are so excited to meet you folks! Me ke aloha nui Your future furbabies side mama I am (We are) home all day, aside from the times when we have gigs or our son wants to go out and play. If we're staying over at your pets home, I’d love to bring them with us! I strongly believe in open communication, so I am more than happy to provide constant updates on your pets. I’ll be sure to send you as many pictures, videos, and texts as possible/as you prefer. Your pets needs are my top priority, so you can rest assured that I will take care of everything. I am adamant on safety. I will keep your pet safe whether we are in my home, in your home, or out on walks.

Cameron M.Star Sitter
“I have known Cameron for many years now. But, I never asked him to watch my older dog Roxy until recently. Roxy needs medication and I was hesitant for anyone to take care of my 14 year old Miniature Schnauzer. I was gone for the entire day and not coming home until later that evening. Cameron's gentle approach to Roxy was great! He not only was able to give to her the required medications, he was very loving to her. When I came back late that night, Cameron was sitting close to Roxy and I felt the love and the trust. I would definitely recommend Cameron to anyone that might have any hesitation with their dogs. He treats your dog like they are his own.”

She truly treated them like her own — attentive, reliable, and thoughtful. Our cats adored her. She kept us updated with sweet photos and notes. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone who will love your pets as much as you do.”

“Gabriel is one of the most caring persons I’ve ever met in my life. I’ve known Gabriel for more than 8 years now, and my dog Nano, who passed away last year at 16 years old, also had the chance to meet Gabriel in many occasions. I always felt safe and confident leaving Nano to Gabriel when I needed someone to petsit him. Nano also felt very safe and was joyful when staying at Gabriel’s for a couple of days. Gabriel was definitely born to work with pets and animals. I wholeheartedly recommend Gabriel as he is the best and most loving, responsible caregiver I’ve ever met.”
