“Arnie is incredible! He came over a few days before my first booking to meet my 2 dogs. My senior dog warmed right up to him, and my 3 year old rescue even allowed some scratches and to be held. I was able to tell they both felt safe and secure with Arnie around. My senior needs a little extra help up and down the stairs, and I’m still working on leash confidence with the 3 year old. These things didn’t faze Arnie or stand out as a problem. He was ready to tackle them head on. This made me feel safe and secure knowing my babies would be in goods hands with him. I’m so thrilled that Arnie will be a buddy for my pups, and give me some peace of mind when I have a long work day!”

I take humble pride in being the stranger that your critter who "never comes out to see anyone" is suddenly on my lap. I've cared for critters of all kinds, sizes and temperaments. My availability is very flexible and open at this given time (June 2025). I commute between an apartment in downtown Hagerstown and St Mary's County (Wildewood) and care for my family's German shepherd (Freya) and teddy bear (Odin) about 1-2 days a month in W.V. Those dates are preplanned. I'm an early bird, up around 4:30-6 AM. I have a low maintenance mainecoon so she grazes all day and has plenty to do till I come home for my own kitty snuggles. I can only care for your pets on their turf or if you allow it, to take them to public parks. Both of my residences do not allow additional boarding. I personally wouldn't mind, but, rules are rule. I'm very adaptable and would love to keep any routine you have with your pets. From nicknames, babytalk, several walks a day, a bath etc... Write down your desired routine for Fido/Whiskers and I'll do my best to keep them entertained and comfortable until you're back home.

About: I have over 25 years of dog breeding experience and I would love to care for your loved ones in our home. Large home and plenty of running room in our spacious yard. I cannot take care of male dogs over 30 lbs due to a female dog in the household. I can take care of female fur babies of less than 30 lbs. I work from home and have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention he or she needs. Taking care of dogs are my specialty. I have a fenced in yard and a female lab who loves to go for walks and play. Your fur baby will have plenty of friends caring for him or her.

I ensure they get vetted, groomed, and work with any behavior issues from being abused or neglected. I have plenty of patience and make sure above all else, they know they are safe and loved. I can crate your dog if needed or they can have run of the house with mine. We have plenty of toys from ones to chew on, to several to play ball or frisbee outside. It doesn’t matter the age of your pet, I have had and adopted several older dogs, I love them all and they will get the best care. I have farm land in front of me to take them for walks if you would like that as well. Your pets will be well taken care of and safe.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets for several years & can be trusted in the comfort of your home to meet your pets needs! Family & friends have been able to rely on me & know that they are in the best of hands! I have a puppy of my own & a senior dog & they are my best friends, I’m hoping to make some more!! During the week I work very early in the morning, so I am free for any pet services after that! I typically work a little later on the weekends, generally to mid afternoon if so, but my schedule is very flexible! I have a lot of free time to spare. I go by whatever schedule your pet has, based on their eating & sleeping times, and everything in between!! If they just need a little play date or a long stroll around the neighborhood, I’m here! If they have a jam-packed day of fun… I’ll also be there! I’ve dealt with crate trained animals & also animals that roam free, big & small! Anything your pet needs, I’ve got it!

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 5 years old. I have experience with puppies and seniors both as I cared for them in my adult years. I currently have 2 dogs (1 Senior) and 6 cats. I am also part of a local cat foster and have 7 fosters in my current care. After 2+ years experience; I can give shots, oral medication, am patient to any sassy pant personalities, and am a professional animal cuddler according to my own pets. I'm looking to be a safe person your pet can go to for medical care, cuddles, or love. I have a very flexible work schedule and can do early mornings or late nights 4 days a week. 1 day a week I am home most of the day and have a better ability to be in during the afternoon. My weekends I am free all day. I am very cautious when approaching an animal that does not know me yet. I am aware of different animals breeds / personalies and have learned to be patient for trust to be earned. I am very aware of dog body language since my own personal dog is food reactive and does not do well with other animals. I have taken safety measures to ensure no attacks are made on her end so I have that experience as well.

About: I never had a dog of my own growing up, but I always had a blast watching animals for my family and friends! Taking dogs on walks and simply playing with them is so much fun. I love to be able to bond with pets and really get to know them. I’m not a professional dog trainer, however I’ve attempted to crate train and teach other simple tricks to dogs and was successful. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I make sure to set aside time for walks, feeding, and playtime with the pets I care for. I also ensure they have regular check-ins and any necessary medication or grooming is done on time. I prioritize their needs around my other commitments, and I’m always flexible to adjust my schedule to accommodate their care. I am not currently able to have pets in my home, however I can travel to your home if dog sitting or an overnight stay is needed!

I am a full-time social worker, so my availability is limited during the day/week; however, my work allows for flexibility and I am typically able to accommodate needs. While in your home, I am able to do any light housekeeping that is needed, cleaning literally boxes, picking up poop in the yard. My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible with someone new coming in.
