“I hesitate leaving a review, not because Nelson wasn't terrific because he was. The reason being that the review may convince others to book Nelson and then I'll have more competition for his time. Nelson told me that dogs love him. Well, I can confirm that. When we returned from a 3-day trip, our dogs met us with wagging tails and some excitement. However, previously, I had to be careful coming into our home because they might knock me down welcoming us home. This time they kept looking behind us waiting for Nelson to appear. That was a bit humbling. Nelson's college schedule worked for us. He was free on the weekends and was able to stay with our 3 dogs for long periods of the day. He sent a multitude of photos, mostly with our dogs cuddling up with him. If he had a question, he would text me, which I loved. We became modern pen pals. One of our dogs was bothering a frog in our yard one day and Nelson noticed foam coming out of her mouth. So, he searched the internet and found out what to do and he did it and the dog was fine. When it was time for him to leave, he cleaned up everything so that I didn't have to. It was great. I no longer have any qualms about leaving our dogs. Nelson took away all my stress.”

You are welcome to bring a dog bed, blanket, or anything that would help them feel comfortable.

She was very accommodating- One of our dogs is very protective of me and doesn't get along with new people for a while, but Lanette did come over a few times before the stay to help get him more comfortable with her. During the stay our protective little pup came out of his shell, fell in love, and wouldn't leave her alone! She was very patient with him and that was exactly what he needed! We got lots of pictures and videos, which was very comforting for my boyfriend and I. We highly recommend Lanette!”
