“Chrissy has done an amazing job watching my dog Riley for a couple of days. Riley and I liked her from the first time we met. He had a lot of fun being with her. I really liked that she provided updates and pictures each day. I will definitely book her again and recommend her to others. Thanks Chrissy! 😊”

“Sylva & Mark were absolutely perfect. They took such good care of my boys and kept me updated daily on how they were doing. I couldn't have asked for a better couple to watch my boys. If you ever need a sitter I would 1000% recommend them. I don't trust many people to watch my pups but I would send my Buddy & Connor to them anytime. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for taking care of them.”

“Helen was a wonderful sitter for my pup Zeus. She sent pics and updates multiple times a day and reassured me that my pup was doing well. She has her own dog and had a couple other dogs staying with her so Zeus had multiple play mates! He got to spend lots of time in her yard and enjoy being outside. Zeus came home pooped from having so much fun! :)”

“Emily was so great watching our pup Jax! We got multiple updates with pictures daily about his walks, playtime and all the cuddles. Highly recommend, Jax can’t wait for his next sleepover!”

“Both Serhii & Olesia were both extremely caring of Keeper and followed instructions very carefully so my vacation was stressfree. I highly recommend them for your future needs!”

“This is a bit late, but we booked Jessica to watch our Beagle! She was absolutely fantastic! You could tell by the pics she opened both her heart and home to our pup and made his experience very enjoyable”

“I was really nervous to leave my puppies with John because of their fear of strangers, but John made them feel comfortable right away. On the second day, I received pictures of John snuggling with my timid pups. They were well taken care of and I felt reassured that they were in good hands. We will definitely be using him again in the future. Highly recommend! We give an eight paw rating!”

“Extremely good pet sitter. My elderly dog stayed over thanksgiving break and I got frequent updates/pictures. Very intuitive about my dog’s wants/needs. You would struggle finding a better person to take care of your animals, especially if you have a dog with a big personality.”

“So glad I found Tiffany when I was I unexpectedly needed boarding. As a first time boarder she made me feel incredibly comfortable and made the experience completely smooth and stress free. She has the perfect setup for the comfort of the dogs and I can tell my dog had a great experience in her care. Will definitely look to use her again for any future needs.”

About: I’ve grown up all my life around animals. I love for all animals and have much patience and detail. I’ve taken care of animals years I’m a special ed teacher. I work Monday through Fridays 8:30 AM till 3 PM.. as you can tell, I have much patience, love and care I live in a townhouse so I don’t have my own backyard or fenced in area, but I do have a golden retriever who is four years old. We take three long walks every day either at a cemetery or in a park.

About: I have been a pet-parent for about five years. I have a family of four/five, depending upon the time of the year. I live with my husband and of the two kids, one of whom lives out of town, and visits periodically. Same with my mom. We have a Covid-pup, Biscuit, who is a Shihpoo (Mom’s a Shihtzu and dad a toy poodle). I love him to bits, as do the rest of my family members. Like all pet-parents, my perspective about a dog completely changed after I brought Biscuit home. I like to take long walks with him, weather permitting and hangout with him in the backyard in the evenings, or just laze around indoors. Both my husband and I love to travel with the family and have often taken Biscuit along for holidays and vacations. But (sigh) sometimes, Biscuit just cannot join us. And those are the times when we look for a dependable sitter and a happy place for him. We are lucky to have found great sitters through River, and I would love to offer our home and our company to other pups when their parents have to be away. I have helped watch my neighbors pups now and then. I absolutely enjoy the company of dogs, and so does my very friendly pup! Being a pet-sitter is also a great way for us to have a playmate for Biscuit. So, whether it is for a day or the weekend, I hope to be of help to anyone who is looking for a caring and friendly place for their dogs! I work full time as a college professor. So I am mostly available during the weekends. However, during summer and over the other school breaks, I will have availability during the weekdays too. I have a home with fully fenced backyard. The pups are free to run around or hangout on our deck or indoors. They will be let out every two hours for potty breaks and playtime. Leashed walk will be offered once a day, usually in the evenings as long as the pup-parents are ok with that.

“Ophelia's stay with Maggie was terrific! Ophelia is our pandemic pup who just turned a year old in July and she has NEVER been alone (or away from us) for more than an hour or two. We were very nervous to leave her, especially since we were going to be away for 2 weeks. I chose Maggie on Rover based on the number of great reviews she had as well as the number of repeat customers she had. Ophelia is a Cavapoo (11 pounds) and I was concerned as there were a number of dogs staying with Maggie and many of her customers seemed to be larger dogs. But Maggie was great! She regularly sent us photos and updates which helped to alleviate my fears. I will admit that the first day, Ophelia looked terrified in the photo she sent, and Maggie admitted that Ophelia was understandably nervous, but Maggie assured us that Ophelia would adjust. Maggie spent extra alone time with Ophelia to help her get acclimated and within a day or two Ophelia was running with the pack! To help ourselves feel a little better about leaving Ophelia for so long, we referred to her stay with Maggie as "sleepaway camp" - and by the time we picked her up, I think it was a fair summary of her stay. And as a bonus, Ophelia had a "spa day" the day she was picked up - they bathed her and trimmed her nails. This was a very nice touch. We will definitely recommend and use Maggie again!”

“Kristine gave our dog Chauncey exceptional care! She gave us updates with photos , which is very important to us. She was communicative and overall just lovely to interact with. She even mended a bandana he was wearing. On top of it, she sent him home with a Halloween bandana she sewed! We will definitely request her care again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for many years. I’ve had a few dogs of my own and one now my Enzo also Zoey golden doodle I’m retired and home daily. I normally take a walk in the morning and evening sometimes in the afternoon. Dinner between five and six . I have a fenced in yard. I have one dog and usually take my niece‘s dog… Both dogs under 25 pounds. Lots of love ❤️

About: I don’t have specific set of skills other than the fact that I am a dog mom. My dogs are my world and my main priority. I have a lot of love to give and I think animals deserve it the most. I’m currently unemployed as I recently left my job as it just wasn’t the right fit any longer. I will make myself available to be with your pet as much as needed and wanted by the client. I’m 44 years old with an older son who is 28. So for people my age who normally have small children I have my 2 dogs and my 2 cats. They are my children My animals are always considered in any and all plans that I may have. They are my top priority and your animal would be no different. I am a nurturer by nature. When I was in need of dog sitter Rover provided me with someone who took care of and loved my dogs just as much as I did. It motivated me to want to be that person for other people. I will love and spoil your animal as if they were my own. Allowing you to leave them knowing they are being well taken care of. I have a fully fenced in yard and I would make any special arrangements as far as feeding, crating etc that would be needed for your animal.

“Mrs. Diane was great with my baby Sheeba. This was her first time away from our family. She really enjoyed herself. I got pictures and videos of her stay. I will definitely book Mrs. Diane again.”
