“Jose did an amazing job with Marley! I was able to leave an entire week without having to worry once. Was always on time and walked my dog to the park every time. Marley loved Jose, so much so Marley was playing fetch with sticks which I’ve never seen him do! Jose also took amazing pictures at every check in”

“Natasha is always very great with my pup! My pup was being difficult about putting the harness on and she stayed a little extra to ensure she was taken care of. Thank you Natasha!”

“I would highly recommend Megan. She is very reliable, informative, and caring. She was taken care of our two cats several times. We plan on requesting her service again in the future.”

About: Hi there! I'm a 34-year-old professional living in Red Hook. While I have not yet adopted a dog of my own, I have house-sat, walked dogs for over 50 miles through apps like Rover, and cared for the dogs of my friends. My clients consistently rate me "Extra Caring" and going "Above and Beyond". ♻️ I use compostable waste bags that are environmentally friendly ❇️ I place an AirTag on the collars of dogs for the duration of walks for added safety 💚 I provide lots of care and affection for your furry family members --- I work from home, which makes it easy for me to pet sit. I joined Rover because I'm not at a place in my life where I'm ready to adopt my own cat or dog. So instead I’m happy to give love and care to yours! I have worked for 3 years in customer support so I know how to deliver exceptional service with professional communication. Every time I've met a client through Rover I'm continually amazed by how each person is someone I want to be friends with. Dog and cat owners here on Rover are some of the friendliest people I've met. Which is why I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member soon; especially dogs whose breeds rhyme with "boudin' beaver" and "musky", not that I'm playing favorites! I currently have availability on weekends from Friday evening to Sunday evening. I am available for drop-ins, walks, and house stays in the Albany area. I am a quiet and respectful person. I am happy to take care of your dog or cat in your home with any instructions you provide. I have previously house sat for friends who had two adult huskies and we all had a great time together.

About: I've been involved in dog rescue for over 20 years and often board former foster pups. I give a lot of attention and soft play to minimize the stress of their owners being away. I recently completed a 220 hour veterinary assistant certification. I have a flexible work schedule Monday-Friday which allows me to leave midday for walks, feedings, etc. Weekends are typically wide open. I am available for sunrise and sunset walks at the local golf course or in your neighborhood. I am off for the summers and all school holidays. Pets in my home enjoy lots of exercise and soft play--fetch, tug of war, etc. Dogs that prefer to stay home will have a minimum of 3 visits per day for feeding, exercise and play. For golf course walks, I offer free pickup within two miles of the route from my house to the course.

“Felicity was wonderful with my cats. She did so much and was so reliable. I know they will miss her and I'd be thrilled to have her back any time. Thank you Felicity ❤️”

“We've booked Savannah a couple of times to watch our cats and we are very happy. Our cats are well fed and cared for when we are away. I appreciate the photos and updates.”

“My two cats were very calm when I came home after Brad and Mery had been taking care of them. That told me they’d gotten reliable, unobtrusive care that let the cats go on with their normal lives even when I was away. I appreciated the daily messages as I tend to worry. Brad and Mery’s dependable, kind and no-fuss care was exactly what my two needed. Highly recommend.”

About: I don’t have specific set of skills other than the fact that I am a dog mom. My dogs are my world and my main priority. I have a lot of love to give and I think animals deserve it the most. I’m currently unemployed as I recently left my job as it just wasn’t the right fit any longer. I will make myself available to be with your pet as much as needed and wanted by the client. I’m 44 years old with an older son who is 28. So for people my age who normally have small children I have my 2 dogs and my 2 cats. They are my children My animals are always considered in any and all plans that I may have. They are my top priority and your animal would be no different. I am a nurturer by nature. When I was in need of dog sitter Rover provided me with someone who took care of and loved my dogs just as much as I did. It motivated me to want to be that person for other people. I will love and spoil your animal as if they were my own. Allowing you to leave them knowing they are being well taken care of. I have a fully fenced in yard and I would make any special arrangements as far as feeding, crating etc that would be needed for your animal.

“Daniel is kind, patient, and gentle. He takes the time to go slow and make sure your dog is comfortable. We have hired him a couple of times now and he has given us great relief that our dog is taken care of while we're gone”

“It was our cockatiel's first time being cared for by a sitter and Lynne did an amazing job providing us with updates and being attentive to our baby's needs. Our bird is normally very wary and mistrusting of strangers but she seemed already friendly with Lynne by the end of the week! I would trust Lynne to watch over her again”

About: Just looking for a companion to take with me on my morning or afternoon walks! I walk or run around 3 - 6 miles every day and absolutely love taking dogs with me. Unfortunately my pup is now 15 years old and can’t keep up anymore :/ I've grown up with dogs my whole life and have always been an animal lover. I've owned anywhere from a 4 lbs maltese to an 115 lbs golden retriever. I have experience with training as well as patience when it comes to puppies. On my walks, I am also willing to go to the local dog parks to play as well. Hopefully you'll consider me to be your go-to dog walker and keep them company/ tire them out while you’re away! My schedule is flexible and changes often so it allows me to make various times work throughout the week. I almost always go for a walk in the mornings between 6-8am or in the afternoons between 5-9pm. I have experience working with all types of dogs and am very good at reading behaviors on walks and outings as well as around food and other people. I’ve lived with dogs my whole life and know how to keep them safe/ make sure the doors close behind me/ keep them in fenced in areas when off leash, etc.

“stacie was awesome! i needed someone super last minute and stacie was able to help me! She spent a ton of time with them and sent me so many updates. one of my dogs is a little more timid with strangers but not with stacie! can’t wait to have her come again”

“Korinne is a kind, gentle person who clearly loves animals. Our dog is a rescue and is shy around new people. However, she immediately took to Korinne, and I had no hesitation about leaving her. Korinne played and cuddled with her and gave her dinner. We were able to go away for the day and enjoy it without any worries. Korinne is reliable and a great communicator which is so important to me. I feel very lucky to have found such an awesome dogsitter. We will definitely call Korinne for future sitting.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Emer. Reliable, trustworthy, loving and just all around amazing person. I have never met someone so “in touch” with pups in my life. She has helped me countless times, most on very short notice, and loves my dogs like her own. She is truly a unique and compassionate human being, and I think my pups may like her more than me as they are always crazy excited to see her! I have zero concerns when she’s involved which really is a great feeling to have!”

“Kat is truly a gem when it comes to dog care. She has taken care of my dogs and treats them like her own. You can immediately tell how much she loves animals—she’s warm, patient, and full of positive energy. My dogs absolutely light up when they see her! Kat also has two dogs of her own, and it shows in the way she understands and handles different personalities and energy levels. She’s attentive, reliable, and always communicates clearly, whether it's updating me about their walks or sharing fun little moments. What I really appreciate is that she makes sure the pups are happy and safe every single time. If you're looking for someone who genuinely loves dogs and treats them like family, Kat is the one. I can’t recommend her enough!”
