About: I have always been surrounded by pets and animals - I am currently hosting two cats on my lap as I type! - and absolutely love them. My first job as a kid was dog sitting and dog walking for a giant, senior golden retriever and a tiny, spunky papillion. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and stages (including newborn kittens and very senior, diaper-wearing dogs), plus rats, rabbits, birds, fish, shrimp, snails, and bearded dragons. I am warm, loving, flexible, have a great sense of humor, and have my fair share of cleaning up pet "whoopsies" - all crucial traits for your next pet sitter! I work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, so can easily fit your pets' schedule into my daily work - including coming over multiple times a day or even spending my working day (or the entire day!) at your home hanging out with your pets for added companionship and care. I am also available for periodic overnight pet sitting at your home! I am highly respectful of your home and the routines you have created there, which are critically important to keep your pets' stress levels low and happiness levels high (and yours, too!). I will follow any standards you have set, will keep the space organized and tidy, and will respect your privacy to the highest degree. Do you not let your dog on the couch? I won't either. Does your cat demand the blue bowl for his food? I'll use it and shun any others. Do you need your door unlocked at a certain time for a delivery? I'll make sure it's done. “We were on a trip out of country and Maria looked after our 3 dogs and 2 guinea pigs. We had some last-minute unexpected changes that Maria quickly adjusted to. We have a neighbor who does not like dogs which requires some extra attention when the dogs are roaming outside. We did not receive any negative calls! It was a 2 week trip and when we returned, our dogs did not seem stressed. The house was as we left it and the animals all content!”

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have had many pets over the years, including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, degus, sugar gliders, hamsters, gerbils, mice, parrots, fish and many reptiles. Please don’t hesitate to message me about caring for any pocket pets/exotics! I started working at doggy daycares/boarding facilities when I was a teenager. I now work in veterinary medicine, currently at an emergency clinic, and pet sit on the side! I’m new to Rover but not new to pet sitting and am happy to provide additional references if desired. I had an injury recently and am on medical leave, so I’m currently available just about anytime for your pet’s needs! I’m available to stop by your house several times a day to feed, walk, and play with your pets as needed. I can also stay at your house full time. I’m happy to drive your pets to any grooming/veterinary appointments as well. For pocket pets/exotics, I can either do drop in visits, house sitting, or board them at my house if preferred (they will be kept away from my dogs, cats and other pets at all times) - if boarding, you can provide a cage/enclosure, or I have several spare ones of various sizes/styles I can set up if you let me know ahead of time. I work as an overnight tech at an emergency vet clinic and have access to veterinary care 24/7 should it ever be needed.

About: Spending time and interacting with animals has always been a passion of mine. Over the years I helped my grandma run her dog sitting service, taking the dogs for walks and cleaning up the kennels. I also enjoy being outside and taking my own dog for long walks and fun trips to the dog park. My dog is a family member and I intend on treating yours the same way. About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.
