“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

About: Dogs are truly my one passion. I'd love to help you and yours however I can! Growing up I've always had a variety of animals, but right now I have two dogs. Jojo (11yrs) and Libby (4yrs). My husband, Jerry enjoys getting to know the dog’s play and relaxation styles. We have experience in caring for pets with medical needs and senior dogs. We have experience with pure bred, mixed breed, and rescue animals. We also have experience with dogs who use crates, if that is what works for yours. We are lifelong dog owners and currently live with Sailor, our 8 year old rescue beagle mix and our turtle Coco. Between the three of us, someone is usually home, but there may be times when we will be out of the home. Let us know what you need and let’s see if we can make it work! When you book with us, we lock your rates in so you pay the same rate for future bookings. Your dog will be treated like one of the family! We offer free Meet and Greets to make sure everyone is comfortable before the stay begins. We take just one family at a time. We provide individualized support and care based on the information you share. We are also insured. Our home is located in a wooded neighborhood with part of the yard fenced and land trust trails just around the corner.

About: I I have a unique background in dog sitting that sets me apart from others. For years, I’ve lovingly cared for my own 16-year-old rescue dog, who had special needs. This experience taught me how to provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to each dog’s individual requirements, especially senior dogs who need a little extra support and patience. In addition to senior care, I’ve looked after dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages, gaining valuable insights into their different needs and personalities. I also have hands-on experience with puppies, ever since I adopted my golden retriever as a puppy—she’s now 2 years old and absolutely loves other dogs. Living within walking distance of the beach, I’m always excited to take dogs on outdoor adventures, making sure they have a fantastic time during their stay with me. Whether it’s a leisurely walk, playtime, or simply extra snuggles, I’m dedicated to keeping every dog happy, comfortable, and safe. I am currently self-employed and work on my own time virtually. I am pretty much home all day everyday! I love being outside and going on long walks with the dogs I sit for. I have a yard with a stake for safe outdoor time, and I live within walking distance to the water—so the dogs will be going on plenty of walks and adventures.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with Siberian Huskies and trained them myself. I am definitely able and willing to take care of dogs of any age, from puppies to seniors. I have been around for all seasons of my dog’s lives and have the experience and knowledge/know what to look for. I currently own two businesses that are both work-from-home, so schedule is completely flexible. Whenever the dog(s) want to go out or just to play, there’s plenty of time to spare. I do not have a fenced in yard but, I go out with the dogs on a long leash. My dog is a mush and loves a good playmate for tug o’war. Dogs are allowed on the furniture to get cozy with the blankets and pillows.
