About: I worked for the UCSPCA for 10 years (manager of animal care for four years)! I’ve had dogs/cats since I was little. They bring me great joy! I’m very active and love to hike safely. I know how to do basic training (not certified but have worked alongside trainers for years): leash walking improvement, reactivity improvement, basic commands). I have a senior, Bubba. He goes potty 3-4x per day in addition to hiking (Mohonk, Vernooykill Falls, Neversink, Catskills, etc) multiple times a week. I offer potty walks, playtime, leash work, hiking, easy rail trail walks, stay-in pet sitting, playtime with Bubba. I have been pet sitting/walking for many years (mostly through word of mouth, volunteers from my work at the shelter, adopters, etc).

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 8 years old I remember helping my mom walk my aunt’s cocker spaniel who we watched very frequently. I also had helped feed and clean litter boxes for my uncle’s cats when I lived with him. From there my love for animals blossomed. I have also been a dog groomer for over 13 years. I currently have a dog, 3 cats and a gecko. I do work full time Wednesday-Sunday but if I’m dog walking I can usually go to your home before work and after work. I can housesit and can stay overnight I would just be at work during the day. Just ask my exact availability and we shall see if we are a good fit!! If I were to come to your home, I would provide the upmost care for them. Just let me know what your pet likes to do during the day and I can flow with their daily schedule.

About: I’ve done lots of pet sitting gigs in between jobs and seasonal work. I have nannied for two families for longer stints (1 year +) both of which have had dogs and cats, who I was responsible for in addition to childcare. I am a full-time farmer and animal lover looking for some extra income :) My farming job has long hours during the week so weekends are my preferred scheduling times, but I have a car and am happy to commute! I love getting to know pets based on their personality. Because I work so closely with nature and wildlife on a daily basis, I am very in tune with the human to animal connection. Kindness, empathy, and understanding are crucial. Even though pets don’t speak our physically language, they can read our bodies and energy so this is the most important part of creating a great relationship with them.

About: I love dogs and would love to host your furry friend for a weekend getaway (or longer). It's no trouble to give medication as needed and your pup would get at least 1/2 hour walking per day, on trails if you're ok with that. Please let me know beforehand if there are any exercise restrictions. I'll be happy to send pictures of your pup during its stay with us. I would accept a dog 50lb or smaller, who is current on their shots and not sick at the time. Please feel free to ask if you have any special requirements for your dog that I haven't mentioned. I have plenty of time to play with pups and I can walk dogs during the day. If they stay with me, they will hang out while I work from home, and go on at least 2 walks for 20-30 minutes. I'd love to take them to the park, depending on how well-behaved they are. If I house sit for you, I can watch 2 medium sized dogs, or 3 small dogs and/or cats. I will be mindful in your home and be a good guest. I can give pills to dogs if needed.

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 and was given my miniature Australian Shepard at that age. She passed in 2020 and although I havent had another dog since, I am happy and comfortable around dogs. I work at an animal hospital on the West side and love it. I worked at AMC for two years as a veterinary assistant which confirmed for me I am in the right field. I am currently full time working at an animal hospital so I have periodic time to walk pets/ pet sit for anyone that needs assistance in their everyday lives. As long as I have notice I can manage anything I make sure I have many toys and bowls of water/food for the pets. I know about mannerisms for pets and am comfortable giving space or playing with pets that need it. All depends on what they want/ are comfortable with

About: ** Will be moving to Long Island August 1st ** I have been raised with both cats and dogs throughout my life. I am currently a licensed veterinary technician and waiting to start veterinary school. I am comfortable with all shapes and sizes of dogs/cats. I have experience with both senior dogs/cats as well as puppies and kittens. Administering medication and participating in daily training is also not a problem. I’m currently unemployed while preparing for veterinary school so I have plenty of time to watch your furry family member. I am able to do weekends, early mornings and even late nights. I am unable to bring pets into my home since I have three cats and one dog. I will follow your daily schedule and routine in order to keep your furry family member happy and comfortable. The more instructions and requests the better so I know what needs to be done for your pet

About: As I will be your dogs new best friend I will create a homely atmosphere for your fur baby. I have experience with all types of animals as well as special needs animals. I have experience administering medications. I have taken care of special needs animals before as one of my family members does have a dog prone to seizures as well as special needs. I have watched her many times and have never missed med times or had any problems. As a fur baby lover, I love car rides as well as trips to the dog park. I love cuddling and relaxing with all the fur babies under my care. While your fur baby is in my care, I will give them lots of loving as I know a new face might be a little bit scary. Your fur baby will be provided with days of fun and love. I am available any time to watch your fur baby whether it be just one walk or a whole week pet/housesitting. The only exception is if I’m already scheduled for someone else. My biggest concern is keeping your fur baby content and healthy. One of the best ways I have found to lessen stress is keeping a strict schedule.
