“Andrea is a beautiful, intelligent and compassionate professional. She cares about the animals she looks after while 'pet parents' are away. She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. All in all, I would recommend Andrea to work with anyone who has pets they love and want to broaden the scope of their pet's world by allowing Andrea to work with them and care for them. Andrea also understands the complexities of rescue animals, and will work with you so all are informed and kept in safe environments that nourish everyone's positive potential. She is also very pleasant and loving. She is a talented professional and a local treasure to all who come in contact with her.”

“Jennifer, Thomas and their girls took such good care of our pup. They sent frequent updates and photos throughout the visit, and we could instantly tell how comfortable our dog was in their home. Cannot recommend them enough!”

“Gabe and Annie took amazing care of our dog Apollo! My fiancé and I were in the Catskills for the weekend, but didn't want to board our dog in NYC. Apollo had a great time and got along great with Gabe's dogs. If we're in the area again and need a pet sitter, I'm definitely reaching out to Gabe!”

“Daniel & his wife were amazing! I was worried that my 15 year old Shit-Zu Yorkie mix would not adjust very well. She does not do well with new people or environments, but she felt very comfortable and at ease. She had a great stay. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much!!!”

“Very pleased to add another glowing review: this was the first stay for our energetic young cat Bella w/ Maria, her caring family, and resident cats and canines. Maria has a particularly good arrangement and process for gradually acclimating guest cats to a residence, especially one with other felines. As the only pet in our household, Bella's very curious about other cats. The updates and photos show that she was enjoying the run of the house within the first couple days and getting along with the other cats and dogs. It says a lot about the family's skill in creating a comfortable atmosphere for their own pets and boarders alike. Highly recommended.”

“Cici was wonderful with Ruby! I had another rover fall through and Cici worker with me to find a solution. We were able to have a very slow and steady meet and greet. It gave Ruby a ton of confidence for the stay. All the updates about how my pup was fitting in with her family were great. She handled the pup well. Would highly recommend”

“Megen was great, our dog came back very happy! Megen's pets were great play friends and she communicated well while we were away. Megen was also very flexible with drop off and pick up which we really appreciated.”

“First of all, I was super nervous to leave my precious Teddy with someone we didn't know (and the first time he'd have been left with someone we didn't know) & Rebecca was fantastic! Kept me in the loop with how teddy was doing, got him calmed down cause he was nervous too/ sent me photos of my lil guy throughout his stay with them... I couldn't say enough good things about our experience! Teddy seemed to love them too and that's what matters to me. I'll definitely be wanting Rebecca to watch him on our future summer adventures where pups aren't allowed. THANKS SO MUCH!”

“David took such good care of my boy Hades. He was exceptionally acomidating and went out of his way to make sure Hades got back home safely when I was unexpectedly waylayed at work. Good not recommend a better sitter.”

“Beckie and her family were the perfect home away from home for our high-energy 2yo German Shepherd. She has a beautiful and massive back yard and provided photo updates throughout the stay. We’ll happily trust Beckie with Echo on future trips and highly recommend her!”

“Katherine was a great sitter. She really loves dogs and my dog Tyson had the greatest time her and her dog Tilly. They got along really well. Thank you so much for loving my dog for the weekend! It's so comforting to know your dog is having a great time while you are away.”

“Francesca and John were wonderful! Buddy did very well during his stay. This was his first time ever boarding and I was nervous about how he would do since he is an older dog. They kept me updated all the time and assured me he was relaxed and not anxious. So glad we found them!”

“Paula was excellent. The cats warmed up to her in no time and she kept us updated everyday with pictures. The house was left very clean and neat. I would highly rebook and recommend her to anyone needing pet/house sitting.”

“Quick reply, prompt visit, really good photos. When I got back, everything was in its right place and clean and fair. My dog seemed very happy as well. What more can I ask for? Also she did a tick check, which I didn't even think about for a quick walk. Very much appreciated. Thank you.”

“Kimberly was AMAZING! She took wonderful care of our sweet kitties and went beyond our expectations to make them happy and comfortable. We feel so lucky to have found her. Thank you!!”

About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

“I appreciate how flexible Michelle is about coming to check in on my cats. I know they don't come out, but it's peace of mind knowing they have someone to look in on them while I'm away.”

“Alisa was such a good pet sitter! Trustworthy, kind and absolutely perfect for the job. I couldn’t be happier to find someone not only last minute but also great communication and passion for animals! Thank you Alisa!!”

About: As an experienced and long time foster, I have cared for dogs in my home with varying needs and personalities. I provide lots of affection, as well as necessary structure, to ensure a balanced and fun stay for all. I also have a sweet, Boxer-mix Zoe (50 lbs), and a Sato from Puerto Rico named Ellie (15 lbs), who love their foster siblings, and boarding mates & love to play, cuddle, and bring them out of their shell, especially little dogs. I have a few years of experience with rescue dogs, including puppy mill dogs, and street rescues, because of that I'm very confident working with shy, nervous dogs that need a little more TLC. In my personal time, I work as the social media coordinator for a dog rescue, and walk dogs for a friend's dog company.

“Abbey was the best! She stayed at our house with our cat. She was very communicative and sent daily photos, which we really appreciated. Super professional and we look forward to having her back again!”

“Kamber took incredible care of our two kitty cats on very short notice! She was very communicative, fast to respond, and empathetic to our fur babies. I would absolutely book her quality services again!”

“We hired Kalyna for a home visit just to meet her and have her spend a little time getting to know our dog. Everything went great, and we hired her for a home visit next weekend. We look forward to working with her!”

Both of my cats were rescued by me, and I’ve always had a natural connection with animals. They’re drawn to me, and I love giving them the same trust and affection they show me. My experience goes beyond cats and dogs—I’ve also cared for frogs, snakes, turtles, and even had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with elephants in Thailand. My love for animals runs so deep that I’ve been vegan for over a decade. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s truly part of who I am. What I Offer 🐾 A 100% open and flexible schedule—your pets will always get the time, love, and attention they deserve. 🐾 Experience with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and special needs. 🐾 Patience, playfulness, and genuine compassion for every pet I meet. I live in a spacious three-bedroom, 2 story home with a large open yard, perfect for pets to play and explore. Your furry friend will have plenty of room to stretch, run, and enjoy the outdoors while getting all the exercise and fresh air they need to stay happy and healthy.

About: Originally from upstate NY, I spent time working as a professional veterinary assistant in Atlanta, GA while in school. In this role, I worked directly under a veterinarian to monitor, clean, and provide medical check-ups for dogs at local pet centers, while also providing care for other animals at a boarding and daycare resort. With this hands-on experience, I am deeply familiar with dog health, sanitization, and administering medications. I enjoy spending time with dogs, understand how to spot early signs of illness, and know how to keep dogs on a fun and healthy routine. Since moving back to upstate NY, I do part-time work as a tech consultant from home. This allows me to give plenty of attention to your pet, while also providing plenty of outdoor activities. My wife also works from home, which allows her the flexibility to help as well. Our house is situated right next to the D&H Canal trail, and we take regular walks on a daily basis.Whether your dog is a growing puppy who needs attentive care or an older dog who requires a reliable, experienced handler, my top priority is maintaining their health, safety, and happiness while you are away. My wife and I both work part-time from home, which gives us highly flexible schedules to prioritize your pet's care throughout the week. Our daily routine naturally includes multiple walks along the scenic D&H Canal trail, which directly borders our property. Because our work keeps us at home, guest pets enjoy consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of playful companionship. Our home sits far back from the road at the end of a long driveway, offering a very quiet, safe environment. We sit on 10 acres of land, featuring 3 groomed acres for supervised play and 7 acres of private woods. While our yard is only partially fenced, we have two large, fully enclosed decks that are completely fenced in—perfect for safe sunbathing, lounging, and secure outdoor activities. We also utilize a collapsible fence that we can pull out and set up to create customized secure boundaries if necessary. For exercise, dogs are strictly supervised and kept on-leash as we head down the driveway to our private access point for the D&H Canal trail, keeping them completely away from traffic.

“Jayne was an exceptional puppy sitter. She treated and loved Daisy as if she were her own. She sent photos to help pass the time and was overly accommodating. I will most definitely bring Daisy back for another visit soon. Thank you!”

“Dawn was so wonderful with Poppy! She sent lots of photos and updates which I really appreciated. She was so sweet and positive! If we're ever back in the area we won't hesitate to use her services again!”

“Chaqutia took great care of our Labradoodle! She sent me pictures and updates throughout the stay, which really put my mind at ease. I was a little nervous about leaving my pet in a new home, but everything went perfectly. Knowing our dog was in good hands allowed me to relax and enjoy my birthday with my family. Thanks so much, Chaqutia!”
“Alexis was great with Piper and she took great care of her. Piper left there very happy. It was her first time in doggy daycare. Alexis took Piper on a nice walk and provided updates to us throughout the day. We will definitely be using her services again. Thank you for taking good care of our pup. 🙏🏻”

“Our casper felt comfortable with her instantly and kept us updated on him for the day we were out and even tried to go back with her for a second which confirmed he enjoyed her.”

“Kimberly was amazing! Very attentive to my Macie and reassured me when leaving my pup for daycare for the very first time. Macie loveed her and have a wonderful day at Kimberlys! We're looking forward to booking again!”

“Hila hosted Millie for a day and Millie had a great time. We are so happy Hila was available. Hila was also communicative and flexible with us. Millie Enjoyed playing with Hila’s dog Ruby too.”

About: Hello, I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 11 years old. From dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, you name it! I’ve trained many puppies and love everyone’s furry friends. Fun Fact my dog at home is scared of thunder, so I always sit in the bathtub with him until he’s ready to come out (photo included) I’ve also babysat and house sat for many years :) I have maximum 2 one hour classes a day with a 3 hour gap in between! So there will be plenty of time for me to take care of your furry friends!!! I live in a single room on campus with loads of space and two beds if the pets want to have a comfy space. When I have to leave for a class I play zen pet music to help calm them down if I have to leave!
About: Growing up I’ve always had dogs and truly think they’re amazing creatures. I’m comfortable with all sizes, and had several larger dogs throughout my life. I will be very patient and kind to your pup and keep their safety and well being my priority! Right now my availability is pretty open and my schedule is very flexible. I reside in Middletown, NY but am willing to travel depending the distance. I live in an apartment with my three cats. Although it’s a full house, I am very clean and litter box changing/cleaning is done on the daily basis.
“Amy and Chris were welcoming when I dropped Banksy off. Their location is perfect for easy drop off and pick up. Communication with photos during the day let me know he was well cared for.”

“I highly Recommend Alexis for your doggy daycare or boarding needs. My puppy Finneas absolutely loves going To Alexis’s home. When I come to pick him up he never wants to leave. He gets so much attention and exercise while with her. And I love the fact that he is getting to hang out with Other dogs. She genuinely loves to see Finneas and it is obvious she truly loves what she does.”

“Rosalie was SO GOOD and patient with our nervous chihuahua. She sent great updates and he had a lovely time in her home and fenced yard. We highly recommend her for dogs of all sizes! :)”

“This was my first time using Rover and actually my first time leaving my dog with anyone for more than an hour (besides the vet). We were traveling and staying at an Airbnb so we could do a day at Legoland. I was nervous, but everything went great! Bailey immediately took to Amy's assistant who came out to greet us and happily went with her, which is not something he would do with most people. She sent a video and some photos while we were at the park, which was a huge relief to know he was doing okay. I would definitely recommend Amy and am much more at ease using Rover again.”

About: I have experience with many different dog breeds with different energy and health needs. I give all of the animals under my care the same treatment. I would take care of a super senior cat with the same dedication I would a golden retriever puppy. I'm not squeamish at all either, I'm comfortable dealing with body fluids and administering injection and medications. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters so i've seen it all! Currently, my only commitments are helping to babysit younger family members, which is flexible schedule and only part-time. I have lots of time to not only take care of your animals, but also play with them and give them good entertainment My own dog is a runner, so I am hypervigilant about making sure animals don't dart out doors. I always make sure I physically see the animal and watch them to make sure they look healthy and happy, I don't just leave food and water and go home. I'm more than happy to give daily updates on animals i'm watching there are owners out of town and take pictures
“I'm so lucky to have Kamber as Bernie's dog walker! She's always on time and reliable, and she leaves my house neat and tidy. Bernie adores spending time with her and loves when her daughter comes along for extra playtime. Kamber is fantastic at taking care of Bernie. She's super careful and always looks for potential dangers, like other dogs or cars. Plus, she's been helping me train Bernie to be more comfortable around other pups when we're out for walks. I can't say enough good things about Kamber's communication skills. She's excellent at keeping me updated on everything with Bernie and is always on top of scheduling our appointments. I trust her completely and am happy to have her as our dog walker!”

“Michelle is the best! I needed a sitter last minute and she responded immediately. When I met her I could see she truly loved animals and my pets would be in good hands. Our dog Mocha and Michelle became best buddies right away, and even made friends with our wary cat. Michelle was prompt and kept me up to date with daily pictures. I would definitely recommend her to sit for your fur babies.”

“Words will never be enough to express how unbelievably thankful I am to Natisha!! She accepted a contract on VERY SHORT NOTICE!!! She agreed to be there for me and my family with less than 24 hours notice for twice a day walks for my 2 kids (2 dogs). She came same day to meet with us and was sweet, understanding and flexible. It was our first time. It was hard to trust and we were so nervous!! She made it easy with daily check-ins, texts and pictures! We highly recommend and will DEF use her again! THANK YOU NATISHA!!!”

I have many flexible scheduling options for short walks or check-ins while you're away at work, or long terms pet care while you're away on vacation. As a professional pet sitter, I understand that each pet has its own unique needs and personality. That's why I take the time to get to know each pet I care for in my client's home, so I can provide them with the best possible care. When I arrive at your home, I will first greet your pet and provide them with food and water, as well as any medications or supplements they require. I will also spend time playing with your pet, giving them plenty of attention and affection. During my visit, I will take your dog for a walk, giving them the exercise and fresh air they need to stay healthy and happy. If you have a cat, I will spend time playing with them and keeping their litter box clean. I will also make sure your home is safe and secure, checking that all doors and windows are locked and that your pet has access to any areas they need. Throughout my visit, I will keep you informed of your pet's well-being, sending you updates and photos so you can see how your furry friend is doing. Above all, I will treat your pet with the same care and attention that I would give to my own pets, ensuring they feel loved and well-cared for while you're away.

“Kim was very quick to respond to me whenever I wanted to check in and see how Ryder was doing. She was very friendly and welcoming. She sent me pictures and made me feel comfortable that my baby was in good hands. I would highly recommend her. This was my first time using a dog sitter and I am very pleased with the entire experience. Thank you again Kim for everything. I would use her again if I need a sitter.”
“Nayeli filled in at short notice to provide boarding and care for my senior shepherd/husky (shepsky). She took care of his food and medications and provided excellent communication and updates during the stay. He had a great visit with her.”

“Amy not only came through on very short notice, she was kind, professional and accommodating. Tango - who had only been sat by family members prior to this - immediately felt comfortable and welcome. He had a ball, was well cared for and even got a bath and nail trim for an extremely reasonable additional charge. Amy is close to the retreat we were on, which was part of the reason why we chose her, but I would seriously consider making the 2-hour trip to her if Tango needed sitting again, regardless of her proximity to where I was going.”

“Fantastic experience! We have only had our dogs a few months, and we’re a little nervous about overnight care, but Chester put us at ease right away and our dogs had a great time!! Highly recommend.”

About: I was raised in a positive pet friendly family environment and had my own dogs and cats for more than twenty years. I can handle large, medium, and small dogs and will look to give them long walks and lots of exercise as a good dog is a tired dog. I work full-time but have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends to feed, walk, play fetch, or just hang out with your dog. I am happy to come to your home and walk your dog and or play at a local dog park, I am familiar with dogs from Yorkshire Terriers and Kings Charles Spaniels to Rottweilers and German Shepards.
“I can't say enough good things about Athena! She took amazing care of my dog while I was away for vacation, and I felt so at ease knowing she was looking after him. She went above and beyond, keeping me updated with pictures and messages throughout my vacation, which really put my mind at ease. On top of that, she's super sweet and easy to communicate with. I’d absolutely trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet sitter. Thank you again from us and Bruce for everything, Athena!”
