“Andrea is a beautiful, intelligent and compassionate professional. She cares about the animals she looks after while 'pet parents' are away. She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. All in all, I would recommend Andrea to work with anyone who has pets they love and want to broaden the scope of their pet's world by allowing Andrea to work with them and care for them. We had to use Sandra and her husband to watch our fluffy friends for almost 2 weeks. “Chaqutia looked after my pup, Ralph, for just over a week. I was nervous about leaving him for such a long period of time especially as he was unwell. Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. Her family are truly lovely and her eldest child played with Ralph lots (particularly loved those videos) Would definitely use Chaqutia again and recommend her to others!”
About: I lived in California for 4 years and while I was there I was apart of a dog rescue. Many dogs lived at my house. I also had a couple of cats , so I am comfortable around both! I am working part time at the moment so my schedule is pretty open for the most part. You can just ask me a time and I can see if I can work around it! I watch a family friends dog a lot at my house. He just wanders around the house. He is usually stuck to me like glue so he doesn’t go far lol . When he stays at my house he just lays in bed with me. He is a Maltese and Chihuahua mix! When he goes outside to use the bathroom he doesn’t go far and he listens to me when I tell him to come. I do not have fencing or anything around my house.

We are both longtime brooklynites who made the move upstate to a lovely house with 9 acres of grass and woods for dogs to safely explore. I am an avid runner and am happy to tire out dogs that want to get a good jog in; our huge comfy couch and other nap spots around the house are ready for pups who prefer to simply relax. Our dog Bucky loves the company of other dogs and is happy to share his toys and treats. We are two freelancers in the film/ TV industry so between the two of us there will always be one person at home full time during the day to hang with your dog! Mike works full time from home, and I will be home full time on hiatus from my freelance tv job for the spring and summer. About: I’m a mommy of two furbabies, Freya and Medea, the chihuahua sis. My husband and I are both animal lovers and have own dogs our whole life and we are excited to offer a safe and caring experience for your furbaby when needed! Note: Freya and Medea dislike cats, therefore, we are unable to take any cat guests. I do apologize for this inconvenience. I’m currently working on a hybrid schedule where I work from home most of the times so your furbaby will hardly be left alone. If I have to go into the office, it would be no more than 4 hours (once or twice a week at most). If guest pet ever need to be left alone, you will be notified ahead of time and our furbabies will be separated in a different room. We have a ginormous fenced in backyard that your furbaby can roam around throughout the day with our two 10-yo laid back-couch potatoes chihuahua sisters, Freya and Medea. I’m a helicopter dog mom so rest assured no pups will be left outside with no supervision. Pups are allowed on furnitures, welcomed to sleep with us, and will never be crated (unless instructed otherwise). We are homebodies and have plenty of time to entertain and love on your furbaby! Please feel free to reach out to inquire for our availability! We strive to provide the best care for our fur-guests. Spending time away from human-parents and being in a stranger home can be a stressful time, we will do our best to make them feel like a part of our pack. To provide the safest stay, we only take in fur-guests from the same family at a given time.

About: I've grown up taking care of multiple dogs and cats my entire life! I love playing with animals and giving them lots of attention. I enjoy taking dogs on sniff walks and playing mentally enriching games with them! I have often taken care of family and friends' animals throughout the years. I am reliable, punctual, and have a very flexible schedule! I recently moved back into the area and don't have a set schedule, so I have lots of availability! I am available all day every day except for Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Wednesdays I am available in the morning and afternoon until 3 pm. On Saturdays I am available late afternoons and evenings after 3 pm. I will spend a minimum of 30 minutes at your house, providing your animal with whatever care it needs, as well as lots of love and attention! I will take them on long walks, play games with them in the house, or even cuddle with them during their rest time, if that's what they like.

The only exception is occasional weekend evenings after 5 PM, when I work at The Colony in Woodstock. Other than that, I’m always here for you and your pets! I live in a spacious three-bedroom, 2 story home with a large open yard, perfect for pets to play and explore. Your furry friend will have plenty of room to stretch, run, and enjoy the outdoors while getting all the exercise and fresh air they need to stay happy and healthy.
About: From overnight stays and walks to playtime and cuddles, family and friends have entrusted me with the care of their fur baby. Being able to work with cats and dogs on a daily basis as a veterinary assistant continues to help me accumulate various skills to work with animals of all temperaments and ages! I’m currently working part time so I’d have flexible time to spend with your precious pups whether during the week or during the weekend ! About: I have been taking care of animals for as long I could remember. Growing up I always had pets that I’ve cared for and learned from then on about feeding my pets to taking them for a walk so doctors visits etc. I’ve had a lot of pets growing up ranging from rabbits to guinea pigs, dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, ferret, turtle. All were very well cared for and very loved. I love being around animals and being able to help out people who are working long hours and need some extra help with caring for their loved fur baby. I’m very familiar with dog and cat sitting for other people and taking dogs on walks. I usually go to other people’s houses to care for the animals because I find it easier for the owner. I’ll always make sure your fur babies are happy and active by going on walks or even playing ball around the yard.

We are two medical professionals and our schedules suddenly overlapped in a way that our bully girl needed someone to take care of her twice a week in the middle of the day. Natisha to the rescue! So responsive, so responsible, so punctual, so loving and caring to our girl! Now we’ve permanently retained her twice a week. Five stars isn’t enough stars for Natisha’s service.”
About: I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, I have volunteered countless hours in a shelter and have lived with dogs for the last 10 years. I have experience with both pure breed and rescues. I am an active person so your dog will always have someone to play with! I currently work nights so late night or early morning visits are never an issue! I love to stay active and four legged friends the attention they deserve, so if you want your animal to not only be acted for but loved then please reach out to me. Depending on the services provided and your dogs actively level I would love to take them for a long walk or chase each other in the backyard. About: I’ve taken care of young puppies, energetic dogs and senior pets as well. We are an outdoorsie family and like to go for long walk and hikes with our dog. High energy pet is a no problem! Our current dog is a senior, so we have a nice accommodating environment for her and other senior pups. I’m staying home currently with a baby. I decided to start providing pet care for extra income and for interacting with other animals, as we are not a able to get more animals at this time. I have a large house with a one acre yard and an and an overhead trolley cable. There are multiple rooms where the dogs can rest and a large crate where the doggies can be if they feel safe there.

There is an invisible fence that our dog will not pass so we know she’s safe. All and all we give them the most freedom with safety in mind, so they can be comfortable indoors OR outdoors. We do lock them in at night for safety purposes. As for your pet, this is a case by case basis. Willing to crate if necessary or whatever else your pet may require and is used to doing with you.

She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. “Chaqutia looked after my pup, Ralph, for just over a week. I was nervous about leaving him for such a long period of time especially as he was unwell. Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. Her family are truly lovely and her eldest child played with Ralph lots (particularly loved those videos) Would definitely use Chaqutia again and recommend her to others!”
About: I lived in California for 4 years and while I was there I was apart of a dog rescue. Many dogs lived at my house. I also had a couple of cats , so I am comfortable around both! I am working part time at the moment so my schedule is pretty open for the most part. You can just ask me a time and I can see if I can work around it! I watch a family friends dog a lot at my house. He just wanders around the house. He is usually stuck to me like glue so he doesn’t go far lol . When he stays at my house he just lays in bed with me. He is a Maltese and Chihuahua mix! When he goes outside to use the bathroom he doesn’t go far and he listens to me when I tell him to come. I do not have fencing or anything around my house.
