About: I've taken care of all types of dogs for over 21 years. I'll treat any dog as if it was my own. I have a large backyard in the country on a private road that is a self contained peninsula right on the banks of the West Canada Creek. With miles of well maintained walking paths through the woods and on the Creek's bank, there is no shortage of places to go on adventures, all without having to worry about anyone else. If I ever need to leave, you can rest assured that you're pup won't be lonely, as my retired parents also live just a quarter mile away. My dad, Steve, is especially helpful, and is always there to come down and stay with your pet, let the them out/walk them. He's happy to meet you and your dog(s) during a meet and greet beforehand as well. I'm currently 100% working from home. You're dog will always have someone physically there with them. If I need to step out for an hour or so, do not fret. My dad, Steve, will step in and make sure your dog gets one-on-one special care while I'm away. He's retired and lives just 1/4 mile away. Additionally, I have indoor cameras to monitor, and even speak with both your pup and my dad while away. So nothings ever going to catch me off guard. All dogs have their own unique needs, so I'm going to rely on you and I will ask you for any specifics your pet(s) might need. I will tailor my care based on your input. Just to illustrate both ends of the spectrum , if you want me to crate your dog, I can do that. I'm also totally fine giving free reign to my house if your dog is trustworthy not to do any damage. If their are worries about your pet getting into anything and doing any property damage, I'm very diligent in making sure I remove anything that could cause an issue (including putting up gates, providing stimulation toys, and making sure there is nothing he/she can get into food wise). If you want to board your pet with me, typically I'll do a meet and greet at my place to introduce myself to you and your pet(s), as well as show you my property both inside my house as well as my large countryside property. If your not boarding at my house, depending on where you live, I can meet at your place to meet you and your dogs. I know what a dog with separation anxiety can do, and know how expensive the damages can be. Thankfully, my retired parents live just up the road and can make sure your pup isn't alone for anymore than a few hours at most during the workweek. My dad is still very active and great with dog walks. So if for some reason I am stuck at work that day, my dad can come down to visit your pet, take her for a walk, or just keep company. Lastly, I have an 15 year old female Terrier mix that stays with my retired parents just up the road, she's very sweet with other dogs and cats, and is only 18 lbs. If I have to leave your pup alone for a few hours, she can provide company to your dog as well, supervised by my dad, if wanted. This is totally up to you, though.

About: I've taken care of dogs for a long time. It started when I was young, probably around the age of 10, but of course I couldn't drive, so my mom had to help out. I have always had a love for animals, and I always will. I am enrolled at Utica University completing my master's. I also coach U12 girls soccer. That may sound like I have a pretty busy schedule, but since I live at home, it is not bad at all. I am also a substitute teacher, which allows me to choose when I work based on how my schedule looks for that given week. Pet safety is of the utmost importance to me. Families are relying on me to care for their beloved animals while away for a day or a few days. Playing outside or relaxing inside are all things I love to do, based on the dog's needs. Walks are always fun, too!

About: I have extensive experience caring for pets at every stage of life. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, starting with my first cat, Rosie, and over time I’ve gained hands-on experience with both kittens and senior cats. I’ve raised four kittens (three rescues) myself, so I’m very familiar with the patience, attention, and consistency needed for young pets. Additionally, I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs, through the care of my own pups and friends’. I have lots of experience caring for senior pets, including administering medications, managing special diets, and assisting with more advanced care such as subcutaneous (IV) fluids. Because of this, I’m very attentive to changes in behavior or health and can provide a higher level of care for pets with medical needs. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. I work as a Medical Assistant full time on weekdays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, but my evenings and weekends are wide open, giving me plenty of flexibility to care for pets. I’m based in Utica and am happy to travel as needed for drop-in visits, walks, or longer stays. This schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable care while being attentive to pets’ needs. I provide care either in my pet-friendly, secure residence (keycard access) or in the client’s home, depending on their needs. I am flexible and attentive to any special requests, and I have experience caring for pets with medical needs, including administering medications and managing special diets. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities.

About: I have taken care of various animals since I was a young girl. I was born and raised on a dairy farm in upstate NY where I have helped train and raised many different kinds of animals including horses, cows, dogs, pigs, bunnies, cats, goats, and more. Neighbors friends family have all relied on me to feed bathe and walk their most precious animals without any problems. I am a stay at home mom & and care for animals as my full time job. I spend most of my time at home other than going to the store or my kids games for school. I am able to give your fur baby the best care possible to ensure they are appropriately cared for and loved as they should be through out their stay at my home. My first priority is keeping your fury friend safe and then they will be also be happy. I want your pet to feel at home when they are at my house. Depending on the service you request and the need for your specific animal this will vary. Each animal will have it's own individualized plan agreed upon with the animals owner.

About: I have always had dogs in my care. Currently, I have two well behaved dogs. One rescued and another with health concerns. I am familiar with medication administration. I am very active and often take my dogs on hikes and walks around the community. My fenced in yard allows dogs to socialize, roam, and enjoy a safe space when not on the trails. Aside from a dog owner, I am a teacher and have availability to take care of pets in my home. I would be available afternoons, evenings, and weekends every week. I live a very active lifestyle and have the property and means to take care of your pet for short and long term visits. In addition exercise, I offer a clean and nurturing environment for your dogs to play with mine. Additionally, I do stop in visits to walk, let out, and feed dogs outside of boarding. About: Quality pet care, mixed with love, exercise, fun, and safety. That is what I'm all about. I have loved pets since was younger, and first started working with pets as a pet sitter/dog walker. I loved getting to know fur babies and what makes them happiest. I like bringing new buddies home for Lui and mostly I like helping people have a little more time by taking amazing care of their loved ones while at work. I'm happiest when I'm with my pup Lui. He's soon to be 2 years old and still is my spoiled little boy. The love I have for Lui is the love your baby will get when booking with me. I organize my schedule mostly to work with pets full time, my work occupies me from 4 AM to about noon and work 5 minutes from my house with liberty to stop in at any point. Most days I am here through the mornings too so your furry loved ones get undivided attention. I only book dogs in time blocks of 5 hours, so I am never over crowded when it comes to boarding or day care. I like to be sure each pet is taken care of personally and effectively. Pet-Sitting: Often this service for me changes based on owner preference. It requires more in depth detail about the home life of the pet. One reason for this is to ensure I am not interrupting any routines the pet may have. Boarding & Day Care: I treat all pets as if they were my very best friend. We have tv time together (Dog TV), we go on two 30 minute walks within the 5 hour time block. We even eat meals together. Being that my yard is unfenced I personally walk the dogs on leash for 30-45 minutes. Meals for pets are based on owner specifications. Overnight boarding being different in a sense of they get one night walk before bed time/wind down time. They are uncrated (unless the owner specifies to do so), so they have full use of the living area and pets are allowed to be on the furniture purchased for them (Although I am not new to waking up and them being on the couch!)

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, ferrets, you name it and I've taken care of it! Animals are a passion of mine and through pet sitting I get to meet so many great animals. I have offered a verity of pet sitting services such as dog walking, house sitting and farm sitting. Through the 4 years I have been pet sitting I have watched and cared for both domestic pets, as well as farm animals, and I have a list of references to back up my work. I do have a local part time job so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to pet sitting. I am available to check in and care for your pets in the morning, afternoon, and at night. I am also available to watch pets overnight throughout the week and on weekends. About: I’ve been caring for my own cats and chinchillas since I was 11. I used to walk dogs when I was younger simply for the fun of it and have handled a variety of pets, from rabbits, guinea pigs, chihuahuas to english mastiffs. I’m a baby LVT and freshly graduated Bachelors student from Delhi’s veterinary technology program. I have experience with medicating pets whether it be a pill, ointment, etc, especially by myself. I have performed intramuscular and SQ injections, and with IV as well. I love meeting new pets + their owners, and getting more and more experience with varying ages and breeds. I also took BOCES during high school, and have experience with grooming, nail trimming and ear cleaning. I simply have fun with it because I love animals, and keep organized notes to ensure I remember everything specific for pets as I thrive best on details and structure. That being said I have not used Rover much and only temporarily ever open my account if I have a break. So please bear with me! :) Now that I’ve graduated, I’m taking a short break from working to enjoy my summer off. This frees up my time entirely aside from any dates marked in my calendar that I’m unavailable. I may have plans here or there but I can work around them to still drop in and do visits however many times best for your pets! It gets me out of the house :) I have so much experience with my own very mischievous pets. Animal safety and comfort is a big priority to me and I will always take an owners notes to heart about a pet, I will write things down. Whether it be feeding routines, exercise, precautions on habits (like chewing cords, my cats are very guilty of this). I would expect a clients home to be pet proofed to the best extent they can offer, but I have great hearing for small sounds and if I pick up on any suspicious I will immediately check it out incase a pet is doing something they aren’t supposed to. I’ve seen and heard a few horror stories about foreign bodies, and emergency trips so I try to be very thorough with pet safety.
